View 9 RepliesI'm having a constant problem with Autocad 2010LT crashing on startup. After clicking on the AutocadLT 2010 icon the program starts to run, I see the start-up screen, and then everything disappears without any notice or error message.
I have installed service Updates 1 and 2 as well as the "Startup Error and Text Editing Hotfix". Nothing that I have read on the forums seems to fix the problem. I'm running Windows 7 Professional (64-bit). I should also mention that I have been running this version of the software on this computer without any issues for over 1 year before encoutering this problem.
I'm facing an issue when I start up the AUTOCAD 2013 on Windows.
I clicked on Autocad icon, and a message is prompted saying "Unknown Property" with a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside it, and the software do not start up.
The highlights: Yesterday the software was working normaly when happened a black out. I started the computer again and keep working without any issue. Today when I would keep working on the project I couldn't start up the Autocad.
My version of PS4 that was working fine has stopped working, it crushes at start up. I clean installed the program several times but the result is the same.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just installed the 12.1 update of After Effects, and now I can't open the program. When I try to start up AE, I get the error message:
After Effects warning: Could not rename the file '/Users/USERNAME/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.1/Workspaces. 773.1407350999826081.xml' to 'workspaces.xml'.
I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling AE. Same problem.
The file in question has rendered perfectly before but client requested a small change just before publication, so we have made the change but when rendering, Photoshop crashes.
I have tried the file on both my 27" iMac i5 with 24gbb ram, and my Macbook Pro Retina i7 with 16gb ram. The only fix I have found is to duplicate all layers to an ALREADY OPEN new file, save as a new name, quit PS then re-open the new file and render.
Here's the original file (53MB download):

View 3 Replies View RelatedI was already having this problem with Max2012 and now it seems to be persisting in Max2013. I am basically getting regluar random crashes. There seems to be no one specific cause, I can be poly-editing, unwrapping even just renaming objects.
However the most common regular cause is simply clicking on the Max start icon on the top left of the screen, to open, save, import or whatever. When this happens as soon as I click on the icon Max closes, doesn't try to save the file and gives no error message. It seems to be more susceptible to doing this after Max has been idling for a while or the PC has been woken from sleep, but not ALWAYS.
My PC is relatively new, graphics cards are updated, motherboard etc. The only thing I haven't updated is the bios.Max SPs' also installed.
Photoshop Elements 8 crashes when trying to start Organizer. Funny, that starting the Photoshop Editor is not a problem and works fine.I reinstalled the software and then installed it again, but had no effect.
View 7 Replies View RelatedAs some know, it comes on the installation CD of PSPX3.
Quite simply, three seconds after double clicking the program icon, I get this. I'm on the second installation. Patches won't install. I get the message " product that needs to be updated not found" or something similar.
I installed a new harddrive on my laptop and restored a Ghost image of my old drive onto the new one. Most of the installed software worked right off. Some needed to be re-activated as the software detected a significant hardware change. However, PSP X3 would not start, crashing during loading. The PSP X. splash shows and the loading status gets to "initializing palettes" then Windows reports "Corel Paintshop Pro X3 has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution...". That's it.
I have un-installed PSP X3 and reloaded from CD. I downloaded the 4 existing patches (1 through 4) and installed them in sequence. I didn't try starting PSP X3 until all the patches were in. Corel.com confirms the activation of the software.
I've used PaintShop since the JASC days and the software works great. However, since about version 9, the software has become more prone to crashing under a variety of circumstances. Now it won't start.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem with a new install of photoshop elements 10. It turns out this I now have this problem with elements 9 as well. I tried elements 9 in september and it worked great. I revieved elements 10 as a gift and tried to install it and got the following error. I went back and tried to re-run the trial of elements 9 and I am now getting the same error on 9.
Here is the error I get. After launching the editor, either from the welcome screen or directly from
C:Program Files (x86)AdobePhotoshop Elements 10PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe
I get the following pop up. As you can see the editor does start, but shortly after it starts I get the popup.
I am running on Windows 7 (Pro) 64bit. My video cards are an AMD Radeon HD 6770 and an integrated ATI Radeon HD 4200 with a driver version of 8.920.0, dated 11/9/2011
Here are the error messages from the event viewer
Launch of elements 10 editor:

As I mentioned above, the trial of elements 9 had been working fine. I have made several updates to my system. I can't be 100% certain of the timeline, but I think most were done during the time that I was testing elements 9 and did not break elements 9. i am fairly sure there were a number of updated that were made after my last clean run of elements 9 and before I installed elements 10, namely windows 7 sp1, and various updates, but I was able to install the trial version on a laptop with the same os and same updates.
CS 6 Photoshop stopped working on my MacBook Pro under Lion. After installing Mountain Lion over Lion it still crashes every time. All other CS 6 apps run fine.I have all latest updates from Adobe and AppleHere is an extract from the dump:

I cannot start printing through neither CTRL+P, nor the context menu nor the menu. Organizer always crashes. This was not the case with PSE 10 and using the same printer.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently just installed Autocad 2012, using a student licence obtained from the autodesk website. I entered my serial number and product key, and it said that it was suceesfully installed. It even launched, however now when I launch Autocad 2012 the start up screen appears, it says its initialzing, it loads then nothing appears on my screen or even my taskbar, I'm running Windows 7 professional 32 bit.
View 9 Replies View RelatedJust last week I was working just fine. When trying to access the product today, as usual the A5 sized "Loading" starts but when the product is to appear it just shuts off. It is not indicating what the error is through a dialog box, hence, I am not sure what the problem may be.
I have check various discussion groups which say it may arise from FLEX related files or CascadeInfo.cas but nothing changed. I have also done an entire un installation of the product and Installed it from scratch. The problem persists.

I have AutoCAD 2012 on a Win 7 64bit laptop. Ive had it on here for over a year and never had this issue till today. My AutoCAD loads up fine and loads up the default Drawing1 file. However after waiting a few seconds and going to click File, it comes up with Not Responding on the top. I wait patiently for several minutes and it does not recover. Not quite sure what went wrong . My desktop has the same issue. There is a possibility of it being caused by CCleaner after using it to fix errors and it messed with something in the resgistry while doing so but not sure.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI know that I can find which points are which by checking the properties, but I am wondering if there is a way to (for example) edit the grips so that they indicate which end is which, like how they are used in dynamic blocks to show how an object can stretch. This isn't a problem that requires an imeediate fix, but would be nice if there were such an option.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI created a linetype using text shape. Let’s say, that my line is only AAAAAA. Now when I apply this linetype in the drawing, the lines always have a small, line before and after the characters. Actually you see this: -AAAA- . How can I delete or hide the start and end lines.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have configured a client workspace with a customised quick access toolbar and I am using acaddoc.lsp to ensure it is loaded when ACAD is fired up, the problem is, despite forcing the GUI to change wksps by:
(command "wscurrent" "Autocad classic")
(princ)
(command "wscurrent" "Barclays Net 2012")
(princ)
I can see the swap happening but the quick access bar is missing. If I manually select the current wksp from the switching tool it appears I don't even need to change to a different wksp and on restart it remains visible, it is only occurring on first use.
I can not get certain linetypes to start with the same dash length, see attached. The linetype will start with a longer dash then the stated length, depending on the length of the pline segment. Is there a way to fix this?
Here is the code for one of the linetypes highlighted:
*FENCELINEc,EX FENCE X---X---X---X---X---X---X--
A,.125,-.0625,.125,-.0625,.125,-.0625,.125,-.125,[FENCEx,FENCEx.shx,x=-.025,s=.1],-.0625
I try to start msaccess in runtime mode, but an .accdr will not start.this is the code try to use, without /runtime in the code the .mdb and .accdb works great
(startapp "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\MSACCESS.EXE" /runtime path)
The program crashes when I try to enter numbers. For example when I want to move a line 12" and select move then go to type in 12 the AutoCAD program disappears. I am using Windows 7.
View 9 Replies View RelatedNever had this issue when running past versions of Autocad but every time i try and hatch using 'pick internal points' the program crashes. "FATAL ERROR - Out of memory - shutting down" message comes up every time. Hatching by selecting an object works fine but most of time this option is unusable.

All updates that I can find have been downloaded and installed.
When plotting and doing a 'plot preview' Acad crashes. This happens with ALL dwgs no matter which of our 2 printers is chosen. This is only happening to one computer in the office. All computers are running Windows 7 Professional with AutoCAD Civil 3d 2011. If the plot is sent without a preview everything if fine with no crash.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWe are currently still using Inventor2010. I realize that we are using a later version (trying to get boss to allow us to upgrade). I was wondering if that is where our issues stem from. At times when we create iAssemblies we have issues in which objects disappear and/or inventor crashes whenever we switch the tree to a different part number. If we try to place a sub-assembly file into an assembly file some parts seem to disappear. As a work around we have tried to place all components separately (omitting the sub-assembly file), and the file will still crash or objects disappear. Some of our files get a little large, but aren't really to complex. We have been having issues with this one file in particular and it has been redone several times by different users, on different work stations.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe are running LT 2010. I have one drawing that crashes Autocad while the drawing is trying to open. The drawing is about 13 Meg. The crash occurs when it gets to the regen step. The program does not continue and it is necessary to go to the Task Manager. Autocad shows as not responding. Performance shows 50 - 100% CPU usage. The task must be ended. CPU usage drops to < 10%. The recovery utilities say that everything is OK and make no difference. It is doing the same thing on another PC. About 10 Meg of the file is one block. I can open that block separately without a problem.
View 2 Replies View RelatedRscently upgraded from xp to win 8, re installed autocad 2011.
Now when I try to open a drawing from within autocad my system crashes, I get a flash of horizontal lines then two blank screens.
Tried running narrator but just get static through the speakers, I have to hit the re start button to get back in.
I can open a drawing from explorer if autocad is not allready running, autocad starts and the drawing opens with no problems. but if I try to open another drawing we crash.
