3ds Max Modeling :: Move Gizmo Locked To Center Box Handle

The move handles can be selected independently but when the snaps toggle is on the selection is locked to the center box handle. Rotate and scale gizmos are uneffected.

3ds Max Modeling :: Move Gizmo Stuck At Origin?

I am having a problem with my create and move tools. It has just started happening that every time I create an object it automatically is created at the origin. I am unable to move any of the objects i am creating from this position. I can rotate them and scale them but just cant move them. I have checked everything i can think of, they aren't locked or on a locked layer. I converted them to an editable mesh and could move them like this but the gizmo remains stuck at the origin.

Probably something really simple, just never came across it before.

Maya Modeling :: Move Camera To Z Axis - Z Handle Gets Selected

My rotate tool in maya seems to be "locked" i can't freely rotate whenever i left click hold the center and it only rotates where my viewport is looking at so if im at the X axis I can't rotate the Z axis. Tried setting my preferences to default and nothing. I've also set my rotate tool to default.
 
Whenever I move my camera say to the Z axis the Z handle gets selected and same when I move the camera to the X axis.

Maya Modeling :: Moving / Focusing Manipulator Gizmo?

I am wondering if it is possible to move/focus the manipulator gizmos in Maya.

If I for example am working on a tall plank and want to align the bottom part with something I'd zoom in to be more precise, but since the manipulator is stuck in the middle of the plank I have to zoom out anyway and find a spot where I'm fairly zoomed in but still can see the manipulator.. If there is a way to make the manipulator follow on the screen when i zoom in (without altering the pivot point) I'd be able to work so much easier.I am of course talking about all the manipulators (move, rotate and scale).

Photoshop :: Locked Bezier Handle Angles On Paths?

I've recently made the switch from CS5.5 extended to CS6 extended and am running into a minor quirk which is disrupting my workflow.
 
In CS5.5, I was able to create a bezier curve using two anchors with handles, and then adjust the length of the handles of both points simultaneously by dragging the path between the points.  This would maintain the position of both anchors and also the angles of both sets of handles.  In CS6, if I try to do this, the handles change direction, and if I'm too close to one of the points, doing this actually causes the point to move around.
 
I have attached two screen captures to visually communicate my issue in case my text description is unclear.Is there any way to return photoshop to the CS5.5 behavior?

i was trying to model a character in Maya and somehow messed up the pivot. The handle stretch beyond the horizon in the scale and move tool, and for the rotate one i can't see the circle no matter how far i zoom out.

Maya Modeling :: Move / Scale Entire Item - Objects Move Separately

So a friend created a model using zbrush and exported several different *.OBJ files. I imported those to maya and added shaders. They all fit correctly together when imported.

some of those obj files required me to do a mesh->combine. so now it appears that not every item has the same reference point so that when I move or scale the entire item, some of the objects move seperately. I think it is only the ones I had to combine.

I tried freeze transformations, but when doing that, some of the objects lost their scale settings and still didnt move together as one unit.

3ds Max Modeling :: Edge Is Locked On Axis

Using 2010. I'm trying to move an edge on the Z axis, but for some reason it refuses to go that way--nothing happens when I try dragging it down, and dragging it up causes it to go forward on the Y axis. This happened when I pressed something wrong on my keyboard I think. Resetting, restarting the program, etc doesn't work.
 
A few questions:

- How do I fix this?
- How did this even happen? When I Google ways to lock vertices/edges/etc, people are saying it can't be done.

Photoshop :: Layers Locked Prevents To Move

I'm creating a travel-brochure. Initially it was a tri-fold but now it turns out that I need more space hence, I need to go up to the four-fold which covers a legal-sized page of 8.5 x 14, as opposed to the standard 8.5 x 11.
 
However, the added three inches to the canvas size was added on either side of my project when I really want everything to the left margin with the 3 inches left over on the right, which would be characterized by an extra flap or fold.
 
Now I have a lot of layers and elements going on which have not been flattened. So I thought that if I highlighted everything by clicking on each layer with the control button depressed when upon finishing I could just drag the entire "project" to the left of center. NOPE.
 
A message states, " layers are locked and cannot blah blah" something to that effect.
 
I tried not pressing on the background layer and then clicking the rest becaue I did a test run in a new project by throwing up a bunch of layers and when I clicked on the four layers leaving the background layer not clicked, everything moved together.
 
So I tried that, but it still didn't work in my main one. A possible theory as to why it's not is that there are layers of my images that have that little spray can icon on the bottom right corner (AI) I believe? These are like jpegs, so when I want to manipulate them, I have to open them up in another project; cut up the image or whatever, then flatten, then cut and paste back into my main project.
 
So do I flatten my current project first, then move it over, then unflatten?
 
How can I shift my project to the left of center by still retaining the layers etc..

The dialog box for "Adjust/Highlight-midtone-shadow" has become "locked" at the very top-left corner of my monitor screen.

It's top "grab-bar" and "shadows-value-field" are outside the edges of my monitor.

I cannot "grab" it with my mouse cursor to relocate it. How can I move it into the visible area of my monitor?

I am rebuilding a raster logo in Illustrator and I'm having trouble getting my Gradient how I'd like it.
 
I have a radial gradient applied to an object, but I cannot figure out how to move the center of the gradient.
  
The gradient's center is aligned to the object's center. Can I move the gradient's origin, or possibly the objects center? I attached a screenshot for referance.
 
If I cannot adjust any obj/gradient centers, can I just create my gradient in PS and create a Clipping Mask?

I'm trying to extrude multiple faces, and then get them to rotate along the center of the object so that they can all sort of have the same angle radiating from the center. In the picture, the one on the top Left is my starting point. inventor 2012 sp1- single user- lap top screen dies, so I loaded up all my file to external hard drive down load inventor to desktop for 30 day trial until my laptop gets fixed.  laptop back up everything good moved files over except in one the assemlblies i had added some screws from the inventor catalog (place from content center menu.  now I open the assembly drawing it is has unresolved files  all the ones from that I loaded from the standard content center. I assueme it is looking for the files stored on the 30 day trial on the desktop but I can seem to find them to try and move them over.
