I'm missing the Center Pin, Ellipse, Feather Handle and the Focus Ring when I select the Iris Blur filter. The pointer is a tack symbol and am unable to change that.

View 6 Replies View RelatedIn Photoshops CS6 when applying an Iris blur the picture turns black. When I move the pins around I see the picture but this goes away as soon as no pin is moved.
This behaviour has been reported on other webpages before but there has been no solution and people think it is caused by a graphics driver bug. I have updated the latest Photoshop and system updates.

MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2012
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M
Photoshop CS6

i tried cs6 on my pc , and i found on 4 core , the field or iris filter very slow. can i test them on cs5 or cs3 to see if they are slow too?

However, I can't figure out how I would go about feathering the edges of the blur. Instead of having a box with very clear cut edges where the blur/mask ends, I'd like to feather the edges and have the blur fade into the rest of the comp.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I copy a selection from one image to another, I can't select the feather tool to blend it in the new image (it's greyed out). I have to first anchor the layer, then use the paths tool to re-select the pasted portion again, then feather. Is there another way?
Update: Looks like I can feather before copying/pasting the selection.
I have been using the radial filter with no problems.Now it will not display the circle or ellipse. it seems to be working as when I try to do the circle and it will not show but if I change the exposure or any of the setting it does do that.
Have I accidently changed something or a setting to cause this .
I do not have the Camera Raw filter in my filters menu, and I've just updated Photoshop this AM.

I have a list of blocks in a datagrid. When i double click a certain record it gets the objectid or handle.
Now i know how too highlight the object. But i don't want to highlight the entity but select it so i can change it's property's in the property pallet.
In the first screen shot you see the code i have. wicht highligts the record but the propperty pallet display no object selected.
But i want it to work like the next picture.
So the question is. When i know an entity's objectid or handle how do i select that entity programticly.
I have Photoshop CS4 running on a 8 gig Vista 64 bit system. When I click on Filters, there is no Extract Filter. I did a search prior to posting and saw some threads talking about not moving files, icons etc from their original folder. I am un sure if anything has been moved. However, when I click on Filters, they all seem to be there (at least not greyed out), EXCEPT for the Extract filter. Any help would be apprecited and if you let me know where the filters should reside I can make sure they are in the correct location.

So then I could open an image, then open the template on top of the background image and would automatically have a Blur Vignette image without having to create it from scratch each time.
View 3 Replies View RelatedNo pin presents on an image when I open Blur/Field. The cursor displays a pin but when clicked on the image no pin is visually placed.
Blur does occur when a pin is placed but no on image blur ring control presents. Also, when the image opens in Blur (with Field Blur checked) the Blur slider sets about a third over to the right so the image is pre-blurred. Is this a bug or have I overlooked some setting?
I've got 1800 attributes that need to be numbered from 1 to 1800 from left to right.
I got a Lisp that can do that but the only thing is when I select it with selection window, he wil sort all atributes on their unique handle code. So I have the first 40 attributes going from left to right with groups of numbers at the wrong place like 1-10, 31-40, 21-30, 11-20 instead of 1-40.
This is because when you copy an attribute he wil place a new unique handle coded attribute and the copy contains the previous handle code.
But if I select them one by one from left to right and run my lisp it just works fine cause it seems it doesnt look at the handle code to place the numbers in that order.
So is there a way that I can select multiple attributes, like I'm selecting them one by one from left to right, so I can bypass this attribute handle code?
Every time I use the ellipse tool to draw a shape, a portion of the ellipse is missing. The missing portion is always on the lower right hand side of the ellipse. I am using CorelDraw Graphics Suite X4. I have attached a graphic showing what I mean.
View 3 Replies View RelatedLong, long, keyword hierarchy. Clicking on a keyword takes the focus back up to the keyword filter box. Usually happens if I've used the filter box to narrow down the keywords that are visible. Continues even after the filter box has been cleared. Doesn't happen all the time though. It is a real pain when trying to double click a keyword to edit it as the first click or the double click causes the list to refresh showing only the top entries. The second click (of the double click) then causes whatever keyword is now under the pointer to be keyword to be edited - NOT the keyword under the pointer when I started the double click.
I've seen this happen in both LR3.0 and LR3.2RC.
Windows XP, 32bit.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a movie of an object (actually a fly) moving left to right in a sequence of PNG files (around 100).I want to crop each single PNG file WITH THE SAME SIZE so that the center of the image is the center of the fly. The aim is to have the movement but having the fly "locked in the center".
For this I could use the crop or the select tool. My problem is the for the crop tool i can center the crop on the center of the fly but I cannot select a fixed size (like with the selct tool) and with the select tool i can select a fixed image size but i cannot center it on the fly's center. Hope i managed to express myself...
Is there a way to select the crop tool with the same frame size or to see the center of the select tool?? I noticed that once you select a fixed area the cursor position becomes the upper left corner of the selection.
I have photoshop CS2 in Windows Vista Home Premium. At first it was working fine. Then I noticed that the 3D filter is absent. Still the rest of the program was working fine. Now when I go to open the CS2, it takes about 3 to 5 minutes to open, and when it finally does open, it causes everything (both photoshop and non-photoshop items) that is displayed on the monitor screen to be 'fuzzy', and the CS2 screen does not fit the monitor screen properly. Also, the 'Save-As' fly-out seems to have reverted to a primitive version. For example, there is no 'Save as JPEG' option pesent. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but there was no difference. My torment continues, no doubt I have lost a few strands of hair...
