May 20, 2011For some reason, the function "Create Camera from view (Ctrl+C)" is not available (in grey). I usually set my camera that way.
why is the function not available?

Nov 8, 2012max always crashes, when i start creating a target camera in one of the 2d-views. In perspective everything is ok.

Sep 29, 2007I hit something on my keyboard and now my photoshop 7.0 version is continually "showing extras" which is under the View column on the top. a.k.a ctrl + h
I do not want it on there, and I want to know where in Photoshop I can alter this and save my settings, so that it will remember it the next time I open photoshop???
Another thing its as if the memory is completely off because PS is not remembering the last custom size I chose for a new PSD file, meaning I'll do 400 x 400 or whatever, and then 10 minutes later I'll need a new file open it up and if I want 400 x 400 again it makes me re-enter it.

Nov 9, 2013as the place I work at recently upgraded their PS version to CS6 and basically rendered my Intuos 4 completely useless because of the damn Alt/Ctrl modifier, which seems to control the "drag to create a copy of the layer function" regardless of the tool you're using.
It might be specific for my region, but Alt+Ctrl or Alt Gr modifer is used in order to reach certain keystokes, such as ], [, @, so when by default the brush size function on my wacom is linked to a "[" (alt+ctrl+f windows function), my tablet completely flips out and starts sending a mix of Alt, Ctrl and Alt + Ctrl function controls instead of the [ which I'm trying to use.
Alt + w/e functions work just fine, but I can't use any modifer using the alt+ctrl+w/e combo that involves creating a symbol, even while using the keyboard. For example, I can use the alt+ctrl+z command to undo something, but if I linked my brush tool to a "§", which is invoked by calling the alt+ctrl+m windows command, it will act as a normal ctrl + m command and open the curves window.
Revit :: Camera View In Plans (View Reference)
Sep 4, 2012Why Camera Views is different from all other views in Revit. It is simple not possible to add a view reference, or a tag etc. to reference to a camera view.
Of course I can put in a 'dead' symbol to show where it is in plans, but that's simply not the same...

May 22, 2011when using the ViewCube to rotate the camera around and get a different view, it seems to either have a mind of its own or centered on 0,0,0. I've been working on a project for awhile and when I'm editing and have something selected the camera rotates like it should but doesn't focus on what I have selected and sometimes it does. Does this camera rotate and move around the complete center(x:0, y:0, z:0) or am I missing something? I haven't seen anything posted about it so it may just be me but it is frustrating when you are working on a project and have to pan the camera around, zoom out if need be and find the spot you are working currently almost every time.

Jan 22, 2012I've taken a shot of a building. I'm setting up a scene that has a realistic camera lens distance and focal length taken from measurements at the architectural location. I'm creating a mesh to go over that image and it has to line up with the photo perfectly.
There are small details on the building that I need to extrude but even in full frame view on my 30" monitor I can't get close enough. If I change to a perspective or front view to work zoomed in the mesh is off when I go back to my camera view as the perspective distortion, small as it is, is different than a front or perspective view.
Is there a away to zoom in on a section of a camera view so that I can keep working on my mesh using the camera's perspective and view distortion?

May 15, 2005Was just trying to view pictures from my camera in Bridge and more than half of them in this one directory aren't showing thumbnails or EXIF data, just the CR2 icon and incorrect creation date and time (they were all shot the same day, most within minutes of each other, yet they're a week off). If I double click on the icon, the image opens up correctly in the CR2 plug-in. They worked before, I've opened and closed Bridge and PS, I've purged the cache, but it's still not working.

Sep 26, 2012I'm having an issue trying to move the camera view in cs6 extended using a 3d Layer. Here's the idea:
1. Create a 3D Layer extrusion / mesh primitive.
2. I select the current view item in 3D Panel / click outside model.
3. The border frame appears yellow.
4. When I select the Move tool, I can only rotate around the y axis, can't rotate up or down. Can't roll the camera, move or slide either using the other move tool modes.
5. I can adjust the co-ordinates properties for the current view and it works OK.
6. Object /light transforms work OK.
I'm testing on 13.0.1, mac 10.7.4. I had the same problem on another machine on 10.6.8 on v 13.0 last week that fixed itself, but not sure how .

Have tried to install the 5.7 camera raw update, extract files, click on application, then Photoshop opens and advises "invalid file type". Not sure what to do now and have a large number of wedding files slowly building up .

Apr 19, 2012I tried to plot a 3D view to pdf but I have strange shadows on the pdf file.
In revit it shows everything correct but on the pdf there happened something wrong.
I read the other articles about putting it to Raster Processing but that doesn't work.
Raster quality is on presentation (highest possible).
I printed with a cute pdf printer.

Aug 23, 2012I'm trying to retrieve a Camera Object for the "Home View", without setting the view to Home.
I use the "UserInteractionDisabled=true" in a addin to make sure the user doesn't mess with the inventor while my addin is doing some time consuming work.
When documents are open in this mode, the view is set to front. The only way I have found to get the camera for Home View, is to use the GoHome method on the ActiveView, but this is slow since it is running an animation...

Apr 27, 2012When shooting RAW, the OM-D records 4:3 files no matter what the aspect ratio is set to. If you set it to 3:2 (for example), the camera records some sort of metadata to communicate this information to Lightroom, which honors the setting. So far, so good.
My question is, is there any way to override that setting? I have a photo shot at 3:2, but I can see from the in-camera preview that it'd be a better shot with the whole thing. But I can't figure out how to get LR 4.1rc2 to show me the whole thing!
