when I run setup.exe for x4 all I get is what looks like an error window that is blank for an instant then nothing but the desktop . I am running on W7 Home Premium as admin. X3 is installed and operational also VS 12. Drivers and Windows have latest updates. I always try the install after computer restart.

Worked fine when I last used it months ago. No real change in the computer. It was a paid for copy. I looked for my old downloads but can't seem to find it yet, must have burned it some back up media. I found the serial number on Corels website under my account but no redownload.

Cannot start the capture graph..I have read another post from a user who also experienced this problem but after reading the replies I could not find a fix for me.I have PRO X4 installed both on my notebook (for use when on vacation) and on my desktop PC.NOTE that I do NOT experience the problem on my notebook.
Today when I attempted to capture video (for the first time) from my Vidcam using my desktop PC I get the error.I am capturing to DV.I do NOT have any problem capturing from the same VIdcam using VS9 on the same PC.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI think X4 is somehow creating temp files that gradually fill up the hard drive. Actually not so gradual: approx 3 GB in only a couple hours of editting.X4 crashed this evening, then wouldn't start again. I noticed the HD was full. I deleted 3 GB worth of microsoft stuff I wouldn't be using. X4 would then start, and I continued on editting, till it crashed again. Now the HD is full again, so I assume there is 3GB worth of stuff created since the last crash.
I have a 60 GB main HD where windows lives, and another 1000GB drive where all my videos live. Are there files created by X4 that can be safely deleted, even before the end of the project?
Just upgraded from X3 to X4 & have found that X4 won't start -- I get an immediate Windows error: "Corel VideoPro has stopped working." I tried running as administrator with the same result.
Installation seemed to go fine & reboot went fine . . . the program just won't start (although X3 continues to run as normal).
Let's see . . . Vista Ultimate 32-bit, 4 GB RAM, 2.67 GHz Intel Core2 Quad Q6700, 8-10 TB hard drive space, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card.
When I open the program the start up loading image come up then an error box saying that an unspecified error has occur and I should contact customer support. What devices are involved and their mode of connection?: No devices really just trying to open the program on my laptop The Version of program is being used: x4 list all patches/updates that have been installed relating to that version of the program.: I just installed the 2nd patch after this started happening hoping it would fix it, I tried to install the first one but it didn't work. I use a windows 7 notebook, 4 gig of ram. This problem just popped up tonight, I am still able to open x3 on my computer though. When I did some lookin at the event logs, its showing that the problem file is the psiclient?
I had installed Corel Videostudio pro X5 on my laptop which has 64 bit WIN 8 and was working fine . Dues to system error which had nothing to do with the VS X5 , I had to reinstall Videostudio X5. Now it is crashing upon restart with some error that has to do with Changing the Environment (this error stays on for lass than one s second and closes itself so I cannot read complete error message)

I'm using the ION "Video 2 PC" capture card and I have hooked up the 3 RCA cables (red, white and yellow) to the capture card and then via a USB port attached the capture card to the computer. The USB device is recognized in Source by VS X3 and is called "USB 2861". The Format automatically is automatically set to "DVD". The capture video icon is blinking and when I click it to capture, I get the error message "cannot start the capture graph". I can't go any further from this point. what I should do or check or what this error message means?

I seen that there was audio fade in/out options, which can be set to 1-999 (but no 0)
I'm running Pro X5 (trial version). I am getting this same error. I tried to follow the recommendations at [URL], but I still get the same error within a couple seconds after clicking "Burn", right after the DVD drive spins up. Note that my media is Memorex DVD+R Lightscribe 16x. I tried selecting both "Maximum" speed and 8x. Same problem in both cases. FYI, my laptop hard drive is a SSD. I want to be sure this application works completely before purchasing it. The file I"m trying to create is only 10 minutes long and 426MB.

When I play them on my DVD player, they do not go to the Menu (Title Page), instead both just start to play the movie. I can only get to the Menu page by pressing 'Menu' on my remote.
I'm trying to record from the pinacle 700-usb device in Corel VideoStudio, however it gives me an error saying: "Kan vastleggrafiek niet starten" (it's dutch). Meaning something like "Cannot start the recordinggraph" (or something like that). The error is shown below.

I have been using the nine chapter thumbnail DVD menu template. I saw that the start position for each thumbnail could be manually adjusted. So, taking some time, I adjusted each of the nine thumbnails to a suitable frame of the corresponding clip. It worked fine as long as I burned the DVD immediately afterwards. However, if I closed the menu dialogue, all clips reverted to frame 1.
Surely the positions should be saved as are all of the other edits one does to a menu. Not only was this frustrating, it means that one cannot go back and easily burn another DVD from the same project.

The situation: I have all the same video files (H.264, 24 bits, 25.000 f/s) [worked with this kind of files a couple times and worked alway very well] I have added some tekst and pictures. Total length of video is 01:50 hour. Starting the procedure DVD creating, with burning the DVD folders on my harddisc. Afther the burning proces I got the fault message.
After creating the DVD map I got the fault message (as describbed above) and found on my harddisc the VIDEO_TS folder with 5 files VTS_01_1 till VTS_01_5. The total time of these loose files is ca. 76 minutes. So I missed a hughe chunk. I got the same fault message when I have created chapters within the videofile but also when I created chapters later at the video menu.
When I do not burning a DVD folder but select creating a video file (DVD-video) than I get separated end files instead of just one big file. Maybe this has the same cause?

1. reinstall all redist(x64 & x86).
2. reinstall .Net 4.0
3. Use CCleaner for Registry error.
4. chckdsk for error and fix.still error so I've gone through this.
5. I uninstall Autocad 2014 completely, uninstall it manually one by one,deleted left over folder of autodesk or similar software to it, deleted its registry keys.just like the instruction on how to remove autocad completely in autodesk, I just followed it all. [after Reboot]
6 I Re-install it and still the problem persist.

Whenever I open it, it gets to the "Starting 3DS Max 2012" screen and then freezes. The process freezes as well. Is there a way I can fix this? I've tried to load the DLL from the acad.lsp but the DLL is loaded before AUTOCAD load the ribbon, then the dll is well loaded but my new ribbon is not displayed !.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter running perfectly for months my CS5 will now not start from either the icons or the applications folder. I've done the following;
1. Uninstalled it.
2. Deleted all the relevant folders.
3. Run the clean up utility.
4. Rebooted the computer.
5, Reinstalled CS5.
6. Run the updater.
7. Restarted the computer.
Everything else (Bridge, RAW etc) works fine, and if I open the CS5 package and run the unix executable it fires up. The terminal window does say "No javatime present, requesting insatll", but I have the latest Java running on my machine. I'm running OSX on a 2012 imac i7. All software and drivers are upto date.
I get the message Photoshop.exe - System Error "The program can't start because QtCore4.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I've tried reinstalling Photoshop CS6 but the problem remains, together with the message.
