VideoStudio :: Cool Effect - Video Start In Eye / Zoom And End Up Full Page
Apr 4, 2012
I am building a highlight video for my son who is a wrestler. I had the idea at the beginning to zoom in on one of his sr pics towards his eye. I want a the video to start in his eye but as zooming is complete it will end up full page video.
I have a screen splited to 4 and a shoot is played in each one. I would like to put a Filter of Effect that will take one of this pieces and zoom it in till it will fill the complete screen. Just today I noticed a similar video in the Corels site where the introduce the VS X5.
I haven't been able to find any zoom levels between full-page view and the Ctrl-U zoom that seems to be 1:1. At full page, 12 point text is very difficult to read and edit and anything smaller is impossible. At the Ctrl-U zoom level, I get about 40 characters of 12 point text across the screen & proofreading & editing a text box is very time consuming.
I think X4 is somehow creating temp files that gradually fill up the hard drive. Actually not so gradual: approx 3 GB in only a couple hours of editting.X4 crashed this evening, then wouldn't start again. I noticed the HD was full. I deleted 3 GB worth of microsoft stuff I wouldn't be using. X4 would then start, and I continued on editting, till it crashed again. Now the HD is full again, so I assume there is 3GB worth of stuff created since the last crash.
I have a 60 GB main HD where windows lives, and another 1000GB drive where all my videos live. Are there files created by X4 that can be safely deleted, even before the end of the project?
I am asking about zoom and pan on video. I used the crop filter to do a basic zoon and pan on a video but the level of control is quite primitive.
Any plugin that provides better control of zoom and pan? Something with a motion path for example. I discovered the use of the crop feature on youtube.
I am using Ulead VideoStudio and I am trying to add a title before the video start without any success I always get the title over the first few seconds of the video.
I have a problem with titles.I want to make a video with lyrics but after approx. 6 titles, the video start to have low fps.I exported the video in WMV and MP4(720p and 1080p) but still is moving discontinued.
I would like to create a certain zoom effect, but I can't get it done. I'm working with graffiti photo's. I want to show a wall with several different pieces on it. After a few seconds, a photo showing just one of those pieces appears in an overlay. It is placed at the same spot where its background-twin is located and its resized to match its appearance. That small overlay now has to grow in size so it eventually fits the entire screen. It is however important that, during this 'zoom effect', the background photo remains visible.
I have tried to work with the Picture-in-Picture effect from NewBlue, which sounded like the solution. I managed to get the entire thing done, except for making the background visible during the effect. The resized overlay picture is surrounded by a black screen that covers the background photo and I can't figure out how to make that black surface transparent. It ís possible to make the entire overlay transparent, but that also affects the black color in the photo, which obviously messes it up.
I have a video clip from you tube that when I load it into VS it only recognizes 2:20 minutes vs. 2:50 minutes that shows in windows media player. Why doesn't it recognize the full length?
My exported videos don't seem to be full screen. My source data are jpg pictures in 4272x2848 resolution (Aspect Ratio of 3:2) turned into time lapse videos. I have tried exporting in MPEG-4 and WMV Screen capture 1920x1080 (1.777:1) and the resulting videos have black bars on the sides because of the different aspect ratio. I would ideally like to have an imported video file that is the same aspect ratio as the source pictures, something like a 1620x1080 (3:2). Can I pick a custom resolution for exporting? Is there a way I can crop the black bars out afterwards? Can I apply a cropping filter to the current project before exporting?
The "Enable Widescreen" setting had no effect on the videos, they came out identical.
-FULL HD is making these horizontal lines (every other pixel line) if something moves in the picture so its not good - lower camera setting makes the resolution to 1440x1080 which is 4:3 !! that's not the ratio of today (and youtube) and i didn't even realize it because video studio has 16:9 project settings and the ratio of outputted video seems right? - Compared these: video 4:3, project 16:9, still images from another camera 4:3 -> fail
what do you recommend, is there a way to get full resolution better without those lines or other way to 16:9 ?
2. Also only recent and fast opening player to play those camera raw videos (.mts) is VLC-player. Is there a way to get it open those videos in zoom mode of 50% or 33% and not 100% they goes over my screen every time!
I used the paint brush on white back grount and made two big blobs of mixxed up squiggles on each side of the page. Then I went filter > blur > radial blur 100% x 2.
That makes the ripples, but I can't remember how to make the splash in the middle!!!
After the steps I cant remember I did render > sketch > chrome
I work for a small non-profit and we don't have the resources to use the sort of freelance designers I would love to use, so I have to do a lot in-house. Recently I saw an effect that I would like to replicate.
It's a small image but you can see that it's a picture that's been blended with a cool blue effect. I would like to do this, but am not sure how to get there.
I came across this BLACK EYED PEAS poster a while back and thought the kind of half tone fade in the background was really cool and well done but for the life of me I can't figure it out? I'm pretty sure its not a gradient mask cuz the dots actually get smaller towards the bottom....I'm know its not that hard....right?
I'm near completion of a year long video project. I inserted several HD video clips into my VS X4 time line which includes many other HD/SD and .jpg clips along with transitions, music, etc. For effect, I used the tool in VS to speed up two or three of these clips by about 300%. Without the effect, the scene doesn't work so I'd like to keep it this way.
I noticed that when playing the clip in the time line after the effect is added, it plays very jumpy and jerky. Without the effect it plays fine as do all the other clips in my project. I am guessing the effect puts a strain on the system but mostly, my system is fine. However, the hard drive may be the culprit and not able to get the data fast enough to provide a smooth video. Is that possible? My cpu (core 2 quad Q6600 clocked to 3.0 g), new video card, memory, and monitor (HD certified) are all new and well within spec.
My question: Do you think the stuttering video will also be present in the final burn of a Blu-Ray? Or is this just a function of the preview window?
Now that the application bar has been dropped from CS6, the zoom level feedback is also gone in full screen mode. It would be nice to see zoom level feedback similar to how Pixelmator displays the level with each zoom in or out in the center of the frame.
The UI device is similar to the feedback that the new crop tool displays to show the changing image size.
When I zoom to 1:1 with LR5 in the Develop module, I get a sharp image almost instantly, but when I then go to full screen (or go to full screen first and then zoom to 1:1), the image is blurry and stays that way, and the only way I can fix that, strangely, is to use the left or right arrow key to go to a neighboring image, and then return, at which point the blurry image comes into sharp focus in a second or so. My system seems to handle everything else in 64-bit LR5 with ease. Any thoughts re what's happening and how to fix it. A great product overall, and I love the full screen feature in other respects.
I have a simple brick like hatch that is set to have a full tile at the origin of the hatch. All is well when the hatch is horizontalbut when the hatch is rotated within the hatch edit box it loses the origin and it won't set with a full tile.
How can I get the origin to be the same at any angle and the hatch start with a full tile????????
I've been trying my best to get familiar with the Autodesk Inventor COM API for the purpose of integrating a new 3D input device (the Keyglove) for intuitive control. I have worked through the "My first plugin" example, and I have basic COM integration working using VB.NET in Visual Studio 2010. I've been able to rotate the camera's view around a single axis by applying a rotation matrix transform to the camera's UpVector property:
Dim Pi As Double = 3.14159265358979 Dim appInventor As Inventor.Application Dim oCamera As Inventor.Camera Dim oRotAxis As Inventor.Vector Dim oRotMatrix As Inventor.Matrix Dim oUpVector As Inventor.UnitVector [code]....
But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to achieve what I'm really after: a programmatic equivalent to the "Orbit" action that is done on all three rotational axes at once. I would ultimately like to reproduce all aspects of the Full Navigation Wheel through the COM API, but right now I'll settle for 3D orbiting. The pan and zoom operations seem to be doable through the ComputeWithMouseInput() method, though I'd imagine there's a better, more direct way to do that with raw camera eye/target transformation as well.
When using the Orbit tool on the Full Navigation Wheel, the mouse X/Y axes control orientation about the Y and X axes respectively, centered around the pivot point. If you hold down shift to enable "roll" mode, the mouse Y axis is ignored, and the mouse X axis controls orientation about the Z axis. The Keyglove provides angular rotation data on all three axes at once, so there is no need to toggle between X/Y control and Z control; it should be easily possible to do them all at the same time. I can't figure out how though.
lacking in familiarity with the COM API and/or the ability to visualize and code the correct spatial geometry calculations.
