View 2 RepliesWhenever I use any transition, it causes a flash of white noise on the video as the transition starts. It goes away if I make the transition very very long.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI made a 8GB video in PAL sometime ago. Some of my relatives in Canada cannot view it. As I do not have the original footage, I imported the DVD into X3 and tried to create a DVD in NTSC format. The final size came to 9.3 GB and it appears X3 will not burn or create VIDEO_TS folders if the size is more than 9GB. I was hoping I could use DVDShrink to reduce the file size to fit a 8GB disc once the VIDEO_TS folder is created on the computer.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a schematic that I scanned in and cleaned up PS. When it scanned there was a lot of background noise in a strip up the center of the file.
I've removed most of it and darkened the image itself back up and am pretty happy with the way it prints directly from PS. However, I need to convert it to a pdf (it is part of a manual that needs to be available online). Everytime I do it it comes out horrible with all sorts of fuzz and noise around the entire scanned image. The text comes out okay.
how I can eliminate the noise in the pdf?
I am attempting to build a facsimilie enigma machine, I would like to know how best to create an effect so that when a key is pressed a corresponding letter appears to light up. Btw I am not looking for an animated image, I can take care of the transitions between on and off, I just need to create the two image states.

I'm near completion of a year long video project. I inserted several HD video clips into my VS X4 time line which includes many other HD/SD and .jpg clips along with transitions, music, etc. For effect, I used the tool in VS to speed up two or three of these clips by about 300%. Without the effect, the scene doesn't work so I'd like to keep it this way.
I noticed that when playing the clip in the time line after the effect is added, it plays very jumpy and jerky. Without the effect it plays fine as do all the other clips in my project. I am guessing the effect puts a strain on the system but mostly, my system is fine. However, the hard drive may be the culprit and not able to get the data fast enough to provide a smooth video. Is that possible? My cpu (core 2 quad Q6600 clocked to 3.0 g), new video card, memory, and monitor (HD certified) are all new and well within spec.
My question: Do you think the stuttering video will also be present in the final burn of a Blu-Ray? Or is this just a function of the preview window?
I am using VideoStudio Pro X4, and I am looking to add the "heat haze" effect to a video I am working on.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI created a 1318x358 PNG (300DPI, Anti-Aliasing - Type Optimized) from Illustrator. Now I reduced the image in Photoshop from 1318 to 800 pixels, and it is creating some edge blurring. Look at the image below.

How can I take away that blurring effect when reducing the size? Even if I save it as PNG-24, with highest quality settings, it still does that effect.
When you import a video that has image noise into Photoshop cs6 is there a way of removing it? Is it done in the same way as what you would do in removing noise from a photograph?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just saw a concert on television (A-Ha in Norway). The stage was bathed in blue and there were these very intense green stage lights with 6 point light effects to the (I'm not sure what you call them, but they are like you see on Christmas cards or when using certain camera filters.)
How can I create this effect in PS?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to replicate the attached effect and am wondering the best way to go about doing so. I need to make mocks of a Facebook game for this company so it should be a close as possible. Particularly, I need to generate the blurry circles and grainy-ish effect that is primarily seen on the orange background where the nav bars lies. I could, of course go circle by circle, but I feel like I've seen a filter to create these circles before.

View 7 Replies View Relatedhow to do an animation effect. Its pretty common but I dont what its called. A 'light' or lights that travel down a line, straight or curved in one or both directions. Kinda like an old movie house marquee. In this example image, the red light moves to the right and reverses at the end of the line and goes the other way. I dont know if this makes a difference but the image I want to create may include use of the vanishing point tool.

I've been using bevel and emboss and tried 360 degree of light direction and it doesn't look like that at all...
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have two cameras to use to make videos...a sony cybershot and a webcam. The Sony takes nice close videos, but there is a terrible loud buzzing noise coming from the track when I try to edit it. However, the webcam has no buzzing noise but I don't like it because of the poor quality the video is, close up. So I'd like to use the Sony but I can't deal with the buzzing noise. My question is, is there any way to mute the noise from the camera and add a voice over. I want to narrate my videos anyway but my voice is not loud enough to overcome the buzzing from the camera.
I tried everything I can think of the stop the buzzing from the Sony but I can't figure it out. The buzzing sound happens on all programs I use, not just Video Studio.
I unplugged different devices while testing including a cordless phone and wireless mouse. The funny thing is, is that the webcam used to do the same thing but not anymore. But I just can't use it because the video sucks.
Using Corel VS X4. I am trying to reduce or remove wind noise from video clips. These clips also have narration, which at times is inaudible due to the background wind noise! Any way to remove or reduce this background noise?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI edited the project-properties to HD, according to the hints Trevor gave in this topic:
[URL]
As a work-round----Change the project properties to use 1920 x 1080 and your images will be 1920 x 1080.
Settings-Project Properties (Alt+Enter)
Edit File Format ---Microsoft Avi Files
Edit
Avi Tab
Compression to Microsoft Video 1 (there may be others you can use—Div X ??)
General Tab
Frame Size---User Defined to 1920 x 1080
Ok now the screen shots should all use the larger image size.
How can I reduce the audio volume for all the clips in the project? The original sound from the video clips is just ambient noise. I want to reduce it all by the same amount throughout the project, so that the music I put on the music track will be easier to hear, with the ambient noise being only a soft background. I can't find any control that lets me change the volume for all clips at once, and the documentation isn't very clear.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIve seen a lot of this type of graphics pop up everywhere for sometime now. And i know from the animated clips that a lot of it is done in 3d. But if i were to create it in PS as a still frame, how do you go about making it look the way it does? I can imagine you could do it by creating lines and making copies of it and varying each a little bit, add some color overlays etc etc. And then there is the motion blur effect theyve got on it. Not sure how to go about that, but overall that looks like a lot of hard manual labour.
