Jul 10, 2012Is it possible to have more than one picture (preferably 2 or 4 and maximum 6) on a full screen at the same time. So that choosing which picture you want to keep is made easier. Now I increase zoom of thumbnails but this leaves a lot of unused space around them including the different tool bars.

PSP switches to full-screen with move (hand) tool present for moving around the image. However, when the move tool is used it behaves like the Esc key and defaults back to preview view within PSP.

Jan 10, 2012I just haven't found the setting, but I can't seem to make the cursor disappear during full screen preview in PSP x4! Is it something I'm not selecting?
I have searched to the ends of the internet for an answer, but have come up with nothing, however I noticed that there was an ESC key bug with full screen preview in PSP x3, and having a visible cursor would allow one to exit full screen without having to press a key. Could this be why the cursor is now visible? Now that I think about it, I've always been able to exit with either the ESC key or a mouse click. Still, this is something I've never seen before in any version of PSP.

Jul 10, 2012I was wondering if it will be possible to rearrange layers by simply dragging them?I'm asking this because clicking on the move up/down buttons can become tedious when you have a lot of layers.Also will it be possible to auto hide the toolbar or enter a fullscreen mode?

Aug 17, 2013I can't seem to click and drag an image with the mouse when using Full Screen Preview under the Edit Tab.
I see the hand icon and the scroll bars when the whole image can't fit on the screen but when I left click it's like I hit the Esc button.
Clicking the scrollbars will work but isn't as convenient. Under the Manage tab it works correctly. I have reset the workspace with no luck.
I use this feature a lot and would like to know if others have this problem.
The problem existed in X5 SP2 and now X5 SP3.

Feb 20, 2013I can't figure out how to adjust the size of the program screen when in Full Edit Mode. I can see portions of the Quick Fix menu and none of the Guided Fix menu. There seems to be no way to resize the window.

May 15, 2011I just installed 3DS Max 2012 with a student license, but I encountered a problem that doesn't seem to go away. Whenever I open it, it gets to the "Starting 3DS Max 2012" screen and then freezes. The process freezes as well. Is there a way I can fix this? I have Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-Bit, and a Dual-Core Processor. My computer meets all the System Requirements except an insufficient video card.

Oct 4, 2012I'm having problems printing (to an Epson 3800) on 17x25 paper (the image is 16x24 @ 240dpi). The image is not printing the full width of that it should. The odd thing is that it fills a different width every time I try to print it. I have tried multiple images and the same thing happens, so I do NOT think it is something specific to the image.
I suspect it is a problem with my printer. But after spending almost 45 minutes on the phone with Epson, they claim is must be a problem with PS (I'm using CS5 [12.0.4] on Windows Vista 64-bit, SP 2 machine). Epson support had me save the image as a JPG and print it from Windows native print util (and not PS), borderless on 17x25 paper and the printer was able to print the full width of the paper..I think it could still be a problem with their printer driver (and not a problem with the print head physically not being able to move that wide).
I've printed hundreds of prints this size with this version of CS5 on this exact same machine and printer and never had a problem bef.The "native" dimensions of the image are 2336 x 3504. I have resized it to 3864 x 5796 (which is 16.1 x 24.15 inches @ 240dpi). The first time I printed it (where this problem occurred), it printed about 12 inches wide; the 2nd time about 11 inches, the 3rd time about 13 inches. Note: the image is NOT being scaled, it is printing at full size but it just being cut off.
The weird thing is that if I size it to any of the other 4 sizes I regularly print at everything is fine (5 x 7.5 on 5.67 x 8.33 paper; 8 x 12 on 8.5 x 12.5 paper, 10 x 15 on 11 x 17 paper and 12 x 18 on 13 x 19 paper).
But the experiment the Epson tech had me do shows that the print head is not "blocked". Thus, I can only think that there is either: a) CS5 is someone putting an incorrect "bounding box" in bit stream it is sending to the printer or b) there is a problem with the Epson print driver in that it is interpreting the "bounding box" of the image incorrectly (but only when sized at 3864 x 5796)..I tried Adobe's Chat support and got nowhere and the hold time for phone support is over 2 hours..
AutoCAD 2010 :: Command Bar Not Full Width
May 28, 2013Why is my command-bar limited to just 80 characters, when by the looks of it, it could easily fit 200 characters in before having to use a second line of text?
I often want to copy the filepath of the current .dwg and paste it into explorer, but it only pastes the first line of text!

Photoshop :: How Do I Create Full Width Photos For A...
Feb 29, 2008I'm trying to create a full width photo layout using Photoshop or Fireworks CS3 and then end with Dreamwaver CS3 without the photo's being tall.
to create a flash site just like expo but at this point I would settle for a static photo with the same size being the same on each page.
Also I would like my site to be a liquid layout so the photo and everything else (text, Links etc) on the page flows correctly.
The size of the photo's they offer are
425 x 282 px (5.9" x 3.9")
849 x 565 px (11.8" x 7.8")
1698 x 1131 px (5.7" x 3.8")
I'm selecting horizontal photo's. I do not know how to match the same width, height and appearence as the websites I mentioned above.
If I choose a photo that fits the width then the length is too long. Also if I choose a large photo and have to crop it then most of the detail of the photo is lost.
I'm attempting to create a mock-up for my web in Fireworks CS3 and after search Adobe and www I came across the mock up should be 1004px which would end up being 1024 with vertical scroll bar and small margins.
I also have Photoshop & Flash CS3 but should mention (if you haven't already guess it by now) I am a rookie when it comes to creating a website.
VideoStudio :: Disk Full Now X4 Won't Start
Aug 28, 2011I think X4 is somehow creating temp files that gradually fill up the hard drive. Actually not so gradual: approx 3 GB in only a couple hours of editting.X4 crashed this evening, then wouldn't start again. I noticed the HD was full. I deleted 3 GB worth of microsoft stuff I wouldn't be using. X4 would then start, and I continued on editting, till it crashed again. Now the HD is full again, so I assume there is 3GB worth of stuff created since the last crash.
I have a 60 GB main HD where windows lives, and another 1000GB drive where all my videos live. Are there files created by X4 that can be safely deleted, even before the end of the project?
Photoshop :: Correct Watermark Sizing For Full Image Width
Nov 21, 2013I'm working for a client watermark his images. He has designed a watermark in PS CS6 that extends across the bottom of the image, the full width of the image. Like this:
Obviously, the images to be watermarked are all different widths and the watermark gets scaled up or down accordingly which is not the desired effect. On tall/thin images, the watermark is barely visible. Vice versa on wide or square images. I have tried many different widths of the watermark based on the widest and thinnest images. It works, but still not the desired effect for my client.
I've installed the Adobe Watermark Panel, but it seems that it wants to resize images with a width/height box on the right of the image quality and ppi boxes. (I might be reading that wrong though)
I've also tried several freeware programs. All work fine, but my client doesn't seem to think so.
So the question is, can I apply a watermark that doesn't get scaled? I know image height is a factor. I could write my own application to do it, but this seems like a re-inventing the wheel issue. I think the watermark should be scaled in height to a percentage of the image being watermarked and any excess width should be cut or truncated.

Oct 18, 2012I have a simple brick like hatch that is set to have a full tile at the origin of the hatch. All is well when the hatch is horizontalbut when the hatch is rotated within the hatch edit box it loses the origin and it won't set with a full tile.
How can I get the origin to be the same at any angle and the hatch start with a full tile????????

Jun 29, 2012Can I run Video Studio Pro X4 at other than full screen? While working on a project, full screen is fine. But, once I start rendering I'd like to have my PC back and do other things and have VSP render in the background. I opened the preferences dialog, could find nothing relevant. Doesn't appear to be the normal windows shrink button in the upper-right, only minimize which takes VSP totally off screen.
Running Win XP SP3.

Nov 17, 2012I'm getting the impression that I am behind the times, or else in my own world about how people use Photoshop- what happened to hot keys in full screen?
-Premise: I like working in full screen mode. I see only my composition, and access all of Photoshop's functionality with hotkeys.
It used to be that, in Full Screen mode, one could press alt+f to access the file menu, or any other menu using the correct letter. Is there anyway to get the same results in Photoshop without leaving full screen? What happened to alt+'space' to access the common Windows Application menu for things like Minimize, Maximize, Move, Close, etc? I see that I can click on the PS icon at the top right, but this is not the same: consider those of us who use multiple monitors, sometimes the application closes on one monitor and then is re-opened when that monitor is no longer present. In cases like these, the application is stuck on a non-existent monitor with no way to use it. Alt+'space' used to be the solution for this.

Jan 14, 2012I download avi files and then edit them in Videostudio X4. THe avi's are always from different resolutions and framerate.
When i play the converted or edited avi files on my mediaplayer on a Widescreen tv then the video is played may time not full screen. Sometimes it is on top and sides filled with black borders.
I would like the video's always be full screen on tv (off course with good quality).
My question is: how can i see in Videostudio if the video can be played full screen on tv?
Let's say i have 2 video's: divx / xvid 576 x 320 at 25.000 fpsec and 512 x 384 at 188.900 at 25.000 frames per second. Would these files be played full screen on the tv?. How can i calculate that it is 4:3 or 16:9 and what must the preference be in Video studio itself: 16:9 or 4:3?

Apr 4, 2012I have made a movie and its 2 hours long,i knew trying to save this to a 4.7 gb dvd I would lose a little quality, well I'm impressed with the results, but for some reason the finish movie isn't full screen, now I know its saved at 4:3 not 16:9, and with 4:3 I expected to have space on both side of the screen when watching it on a TV or computer . But I also have quite a bit of space on the bottom and top as well. Here the properties of my project.

Jul 5, 2011I have been using Ulead Video Studio 6 for years creating slide shows and burning them to DVD. While playing DVD, made in Ulead Video, the slide show would display in full screen on any TV (for example a horizontal picture would be displayed in full screen and vertical picture would be displayed from top to bottom exposing some black background on the sides which is OK). Now I am using Video Studio Pro X3 and after I create a DVD there is a black background around each photo during playback. In other words, each photo seems to be slightly reduced in size or there is a black border around it during playback of DVD.

Nov 13, 2013I'm now suddenly unable to use Full Screen Mode.I have a PC, and always would use the 'F' key to toggle between screen modes. But when I do this now, the screen just wobbles then stays in the standard screen mode. Even if I go to View --> Screenmode --> Full Screen Mode, the same thing happens.
