I have used X5 to build a slideshow, but this is the first time I tried using video. The source are mpg's created with the Sony Motion Picture Browser (taken with a DCR SR42 Handy Cam). I added title screens between my video segments. I then used the create disc link in section 3 to create a menu (linked to the titles I added previously). I then told it to make an ISO file. It reached ~ 85% of the title conversion (24% total) and the PC shut down. Not a crash, no errors, just shut down. I turn the PC back on and it boots up like normal, No unexpected shutdown screens, no safe mode, just normal boot up. I have downloaded and installed service packs 1 & 2. I was making a 16x9 video with standard ( not Dolby) audio.
This is a wedding video for a couple I know. I was able to burn a DVD from Sony software, but it is unedited video.
I made my first Bluray video onto a Disk....looks great (with audio ). But now, when I try do more editing , make another disk, or save to a file in my PC., I have no audio. If I save it as a dvd, the sound is fine. I've reinstalled the software, still the same. Have I turned the audio off somehow when I try to make the file in Bluray format ?
I am trying to import some video from a friends Cannon video camera and it records its movies in a .mod format. After I import a clip, if I try to play it to sample which file it is, it causes a problem with corel and it has to shut down. If I pull the video into the timeline it plays just fine. I checked my update and everything is up to date with video studio and it says it handles .mod files, but I do not understand why it is freezing then shutting down the program.
I'm working in VSX4. I've created a couple of small movies which I want to compile onto a single dvd. The video files from both movies combined only amount to about 3.2 GB, yet when I try to "share" and make the dvd with both of my vsp files, it adds up to be a total of over 7 GB. Is it normal to have this much "inflation" on a project? I've not done anything special as far as graphics or fancy menus or even chapter markers. It's just a handful of clips with the "crossfade" transition applied. And that's it.
While editing a photo in CS3 the program shut down and will not reopen my psd file. The error message reads "cannot complete your request because of a program error" -- it is a very large file (I have been saving it all along) and I had just "flattened layers" and went to open up a new, blank photo file when it shut down. Is there anyway to get this file to open?
I made a DVD video in the default (I live in Canada) NTSC format using VSP X4. However I would like to make the same Video DVD in PAL format, to send to relatives in Europe. In "Share" mode, when I click on "Settings and Options" then "Disk Template Manager" I can see templates for NTSC and choosing PAL I see templates for PAL. Next when I go to "Projects Settings" the setting is in NTSC and clicking "Change MPEG Settings" only the NTSC templates show up. When I choose "Custom Settings" I can not change to PAL as the drop down menu for choosing is inactive.
Elements11: Trying to make a photo collage, but get the message : "Could not complete your request because the file was not a valid frame file". What does that mean? I follow the instructions given how to make a collage, but it comes to a halt when I try to import the pictures to the collage.
I have made dvds from AVCHD camcorder and mov. files but can't make a movie from a dv. I imported a file from my dv camcorder and tried to make a dvd but get an "unsprecified error". I then created a video file and coverted to mpg. file and then tried to make a dvd but it didn't work either. Still get an "unspecified error".
Considering the use of sequences of still images (e.g. created through vector software as Corel Draw), whether “VideoStudio Pro X4” is able to make the following kind of animation?
Apple Keynote Animation [URL]
If yes, which are the name of techniques/resources to be employed?
I used trial x2 and x3, but after upgrading to X4 and bought it, it became very slow when making videos. Takes over 2 hours to make a simple vid in mpg 480*320 Or other formats for that sake.. Could it be related to my other video plugins installed in windows? ffdshow ?
I am using Corel videostudio pro x4 I have lot of frames in my video. I need to make each frame to pause before the anther frame starts. When i adjust the speed of frames audio is affecting.
I captured video that is mono, and want to make it stereo? VS5 . I tried splitting the audio and trying to place it in another track which didn't work the closest I can get is to set it on 5.1 channel. But it doesn't quite sound correct in the right speaker.
I am new to VideoStudio Pro X3. I have a video of one person being interviewed by another, and I want to make inaudible some of the words - usually it's just one or two words at a time, whilst the video continues. Rather than have these words covered with a "beep" my preference would be for "silence". At the moment my best guess would be to multitrim the video, and for the clip that contains only the offending word, split the audio, and then delete the audio for that clip.
I've read thru most of the historial threads regarding making time lapse videos using VS X4. I am very happy with the normal videos what I have been able to produce using VS X4, however I am missing something when it comes to time lapse using stills taken with a GoPro Hero2 taken every 2 seconds in time lapse mode. The still images look sharp and clear in my photo editing software, but lose focus and sharpness when imported into VS X4 using Insert photo into Timeline for Time lapse/strobe. a process to improve the quality of my time lapse video I am making for our Boy Scout Troop packing up their campsite on a beautiful spring morning.
I have a series of photos I want to make into a quick slide show. I simply want to have them show in chronological order with some music and nice transitions, maybe in a frame template. I know I can do this in V3 fairly easily and I have done a good bit of video editing with VideoStudio, but I am wondering if there is a wizard that would make something like this faster and get me most of the way there.
There was Movie Wizard in past versions that I never used because I never had anything this simple to do. Is there a recommendation for how to get 90% there in VS3?
I am having this problem for months now and reinstalled my computer multiple times to fix it but everytime within 2 or 3 weeks my 3Ds Max will start to stutter again. Sometimes a lot, sometimes horibbly a lot, but always to much to work.
I have almost no services running besides the standard services. I have no new updates, program's or other stuff installed or changed anything to my computer.
Last night it was working just fine, now it will stutter so much, it is horrible to work with.
I am using 3Ds Max 2013 64-bit. I have NO plugins installed or anything else. It is near impossible to work with this stuttering and lag i.e. when I hover over the "3d control in the top right of the viewport" it takes seconds for it to light up and respond to my mouse movement.
I am making a slide show with Video Studio and would like to create a menu on the dvd with 4 chapters for the main slide show and one special feature type slide show that would be part of the same project that can be selected to play seperate from the main slide, but on the same menu. Is this at all possible to do.
I've done this before on Pro X3 but don't remember how. I want to create a file with a Dolby Stereo LtRt soundtrack for you-tube. Last time I posted you-tube took a h.264 file.
One thing I don't remember is do I use 2 mono tracks (l and r) or an integrated LtRt stereo file. Right now I'm trying it with stereo file which plays on XP4 but the completed movie sounds like pink noise.
Whenever I open and use PS, then close it down, my Mac will not restart or shut down; it gets as far as that ‘wheel of death’ which keeps on turning, turning and turning, I presume forever. Force quitting PS permits closing down normally. I have uninstalled PS, reinstalled it to no avail. Thinking that my harddrive might be the problem, I ran it through TechTool Pro and that did not work. So I must have some file responsible for it. No other programs, Adobe or otherwise, cause this.
All of a sudden when I save a psd there are no layers when I returned thist AM on any of the saves I made yesterday. They appear to be all merged layer saved as a psd. I have also been having a problem that when I try to save as - say a jpeg the above option such as iff (which is above jpg on the list) will come up instead, so I have to type in the jpg command. This anamoly starts on BMP.
Everything was peachy until yesterday evening – now (morning after) I started my computer, and suddenly 'Save for web' doesn't work anymore. When choosing 'Save for web' in the menu, the 'Save for web' window opens just fine, but no matter which settings I choose or change, as soon as I click the save-button, I get the following error: 'Could not complete this operation. An unknown operating system error has occured.'
I have not changed any settings since yesterday, I did not update either Photoshop or the system, and I tried restarting both Photoshop and the computer several times – no effect. I deleted Photoshops prefs, again no effect.
I'm on a MacPro, 10.8.2, with Photoshop Extended 13.0.4 (as part of CS6 Premium), x64..I also have CS4, CS5 and CS 5.5 on this machine, and just tested Photoshop 5.1 (12.1), and here 'Save for web' works just fine.
I have a lot of work to do (involving 'Save for web'), and I can do that in an older version of Photoshop, but I shouldn't have to fall back on that, after having payed for and installed CS6.
I have been using photoshop for a long time now. Yesterday I tried to create a .png that originally contained two layers. Layer 1 was a fill with it's opacity set to 75% and Layer 2 was a centered image.
In the past I have been able to save this as a .png and retain the opacity of Layer 1. For some reason now when I save this the opacity is not being saved. I tried going into "Save for Web" and using the png-24, I even looked at the preview of the saved image which clearly showed a semi-transparent Layer 1. But the final saved .png always has an opaque fill. WTH? This has never been an issue before.
Been using GIMP (2. for a while now, it's been nearly a year on this PC (Windows 7 64 bit, relatively recent hardware, 8 Gb of RAM, etc.) and it's worked smoothly up until a couple of days ago when it stopped working as intended all of a sudden for some reason.
Whether I use my Wacom tablet or the mouse none of the tools that normally allow you to draw (pencil, brush, airbrush, etc.) work anymore (cropping, distorting the image and the likes work fine though), doesn't matter if it's a brand new document or an old file. The funny thing is that when I go to the "Edit" menu it'll allow me to rollback and undo whatever I did with the aforementioned tools, even though there's no trace of it on the empty canvas itself.I tried to uninstall and install the software back but it didn't do the trick.
Today when i started LR it acted like it was the first time again. it asked me for my country, serial number and registration info again. Once it started I found that all of my preferences, identity plate settings and things like that are gone. All of my photos are still there but something changed.
I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop cs6 just to test it, but it fails to launch. A Window comes up once I start it and I says "Photoshop has encountered a problem and needs to shut down", and obviously I can't even start it to see what it might be.
I have tried everything, removing and re-installing etc.. I have tried to get customer help but they are unable to give me a proper fix.
When I click at the botton, "To see what data this error report contains, click here."
I can only find the original photo, is there anyway to find the photo that was a work in progress? I'm on a mac pro /snow leopard and have a seperate hard drive that I use as the scratch disk.
Just loaded Inventor 2012 on a new computer. It seems to work OK, I can open and close files with no problem, but as soon as I try to shut Inventor down It lock up. The only way to shut it down in using task manager. After I try to shut it down the normal way Inventor continues to consume memory, (memory usage reported in the task manager continues to increase in size)!
Also once it is terminated in task manager and then restarted, the Inventor memory usage reported in the task manager continues to increase in size with no files loaded? Never leveling off. I have monitored it for several minutes after starting it and it continues to steadily increase in memory usage.
Im running MEP 2013 and I shut off all of my osnaps including 3dosnaps..But one stays on...Its the connectors on MEP objects...How do I shut off those snaps as well?
