I have recently bought the upgraded version of vsx2 (upgraded from vs10) and AGAIN i have experienced lost video filters.
The symptoms are slightly different, "video filters" are still listed in the drop down menu but when I click on them a tab pops up that read "all" when I click on that the library clears and only empty space is there, no filters. Is the fix the same as it was for VS10?
Probably a well worn topic but I've lost all my video filters in VS Pro X2? Just trying to crop some green screen shots that still show the garage wall.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I open VS and insert video, the "Edit" tab (in the topmost horizontal tab bar) is highlighted and I see the Overlays in the righthand panel: if I click on other tabs they highlight and show the appropriate options in the righthand panel.
However, when clicking on the "Attributes" tab (halfway down the righthand panel) the panel goes blank: if I click on the adjacent "Video" tab the panel remains blank.It seems that I have lost Video Filters.
The Video Filters option shows in the dropdown box, with an "All" to the left of it, but nothing shows.
I am using VS Pro X2.
When I go to my Video Filters they are gone.
I have renamed my vfilter.rsf with no results, as well as the other fixes suggested in this furum for VS10. There does not seem to be a topic for this issue for X2.
What are the steps to apply filters to all my video clips in Corel Videostudio? I am able to drop each each filter to each of the clip. But when I try - Select all clips - Drop a filter to the selections, it does not work as expected. Instead the filter gets applied only to one clip.
Is there any other way to achieve what I am doing - Automatically fix exposure and colour levels to all clips?
How to restore my video filters which suddenly disappear. There is no way I would have accidently deleted the features as the program does not allow me to do so. I downloaded the software but the problem still persists.

I finally installed it back again, For some reason, x4 samplesvideoPo3 UVP files doesn't exist. Actually I had Studio prox5,prior to buying the ultimate program. I also have problems with my auto music, cant find those files. I didn't think that I had the files from pro X 5. still in my computer, Is it possible to reinstall the prox5 and the missing files will be back where they should be?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been using Corel VideoStudio Pro X4 recently. I split a number of video files on a daily basis. This is what I do:
I take an Avi file that has a duration of about 30 minutes. I drag and drop the video into the "video track" area in the program.
Then I use the little "slider" thing and drag it to 15 minutes and click on the "scissors" symbol. which results in making the video split into 2 parts.
I delete the first part on the "video track" are and then I click on "share"-->"create video file"-->"custom"-->I choose Avi .
The compression I choose is Xvid Mpeg-4, 24 Bit RGB, and the Audio Format is Mpeg Layer 3, 8 Bits, 11.025 Hz Mono
The resulting video does not have any sound . This does not happen if I delete the 2nd part and create the video file with the first 15 minutes only. This happens with almost all of my videos (all of them are avi).
After updating ps cs3 to ps cs6, I lost the "filter Gallery option in filters?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use Windows 7, Adobe Lightroom 4 and I exported a time-lapse video with its soundtrack. The quality is good
But when I import the same video without sound and add a MP3 soundtrack using E.g. Wondershare Video Editor (WVE), the resulting video lost all its quality.
It seems to be a problem with the codec when exporting the video.
- LR4 uses an unknow MP4 format to export its videos. Do you confirm that it uses the MPEG format with codec MPEG2 or is it a MP4 format with a MPEG4/DivX codec ?
- How to check if codecs are correct and updated (in windows I presume) ?
Another issue, LR4 seems not able to edit the soudtrack and its choice of MP3 format is limited.
- Can LR4 edit the soundtrack to add e.g. a fading at start and end of track ? If it can, via what menu ? (I don't think so)
- If is cannot, what video editor could provide me these fading options and save in hires (MP4 or MPEG 1080p) ?
I recently purchased Video Studio Pro X3 - and after going through the knowledge base and product read me, I have been unable to find an answer to the following problem I have:
PROBLEM:
I have a number of videos (HD 1080p) that I have recorded. Each video is on average 50 minutes in length - what I want to do it to be able to do is to slice this video into 10 x 5 minute videos (based on topics discussed in the video), (so essentially clip the video into these segments and edit each one) and then when producing the video file - actually create 10 separate video files (all with editing in place) instead of one single large file.
As far as I have been able to work out, I need to go through the whole file, clip relevant sections, edit them, and then save project. I then need to go trim the saved file 10 times, to extract each time the single 5 minute video I want to create. This is a fairly manual and time consuming process, hence my hope that I can create 10 files based on the clips I have made in the larger 50 minute file in one go.
as I have 30 videos to edit, so looking for ways to save time!

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt was working before. Now I can't insert any audio at all. I even tried using some of the video clips that I have already extracted audio from and they no longer work. When I have it up in the source box I can play it and the aeudio is there. But if I ovrwrite the clip or drag the clip it adds the video only with no audio. Even if I try to drag just the audio it won't allow me to put it in any ofc the audio trays. Did I acidentally push a button and turn iaudio off. How do I fix this?

Also have found that some of the FX filters do not work and I was of the understanding that they were included with purchase = such as Ripple and Twist? I sometimes get a message when trying to use one of these FX filters asking me to register - what is that for is it for the newsletter from Blue FX?? The video clip plays from the thumbnails, but when I Preview the project it does not display.
The video was taken with a phone, in 3gp. Edited using Avidemux (to rotate).

I have a problem with the audio of one of my video projects. During the actual video shooting, the microphone had acoustic problems and it is heard on the recorded clips.
I had split the audio from the video and want to use some audio filters on it to see if it works, but the audio filters choice on the clip menu is greyed out. How I can enable the audio filters

View 2 Replies View RelatedCorel VideoStudio Pro has the ability to apply multiple filters to a video. There are buttons to change the order of a filter. However, it's not clear to me which order they are applied to the video clip.
Are the filters applied from the top of the list down or layered on top of each other from the bottom of the list up?
Why I am getting a "insufficient memory" error 15036:0:0 when trying to select certain filters such as "Auto-Exposure" and "Brightness & Contrast"? Other filters can be selected without getting this error.
I am running W7 64 bit.
I have Pro X4 ultimate. Sommes filters transition 3 D like cube floating don't work. I have reinstall many time but the result is the same. The others filters are OK.
Before I had Pro X3 et Pro X4 and it was OK.
I tried the trial version of VideoStudio Pro X4 without any issue. So I decided to buy it and install the official version from CD. And now, with this version I get the following error message while trying to create a fideo file No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the connection [17128:1:4]
I checked internet and saw how to troubleshoot the issue. I removed everything and added functionality to the project. It does not matter at all. I always get the error message. Even if I add one video from a cam without changing or adding anything to it. So no filters are used, no nothing.
Settings:
I use "same as project settings"
NTSC non-drop frame [30 fps]
Microsoft AVI files
24 bits, 320x240, 30 fps
Upper Field First
Uncompressed
PCM, 48.000kHz 16 Bit, Stereo
I've failed to get any sounds out of my version on my desktop even after uninstalling/reinstalling?? I have a version working well on my laptop. What can be the problem? It is a 'trial' version but I have paid for it and have a key but it doesn't seem to want me to enter it and there's no 'buy now' on drop-down menu in 'preferences'.

I've been using VS pro X2, but since getting Win 7 I got X3 for stability. This is the first time I've actually used it for a new video. Yesterday I had all of my titles available to me in X3, and was making a new video with them. After unsuccessfully attempting to open an X2 file (for some reason NONE of my X2 files will open in X3, VERY frustrating) for comparison, I opened X2 after closing X3. When I went in to open X3 again, ALL but 2 of my titles are now gone, and I only have 3 transitions (I have about 15 or so in X2). Where are all my effects and titles?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using VSP X3 Pro on a Windows 7 Professional 64bit PC. Input video files are AVCHD from a Canon SX 210s camera.
Picture format is QuickTime 1280x720, 24bit, frame rate 29.97, sound 16bit little Endian, 48000kHz, 16bit stereo. Files copied from an SD card.
I find that if I insert transition effects I lose the original recorded audio from that point forward in the clip that follows. If I do not use transition effects then the audio is fine. If I subsequently remove the transition then the audio is restored. It appears the transitions are the root cause of the problem. Identical problem if I use my Windows 7 32 bit laptop. The audio track remains visible in the timeline even when no sound can be heard.
Based on a previous suggestion I've used a workaround by converting the clips to a different format before editing. Using AVI, the audio in clips following a transition file is not lost but the video quality is seriously degraded.
I've reinstalled the software & all the three available patches. The problem has been around ever since I moved to my new PC on Windows 7.
While working on vspx2 it locked up. Rebooted and discovered that my main hard drive was not detected. My computer guy got it working again, but my hundreds of files (images, video clips, titles, audio clips) that I had stored in vspx2 library, so neatly organised, had disappeared. It became like it was when I first bought it. Everything was gone from the library, though they were still on hard drives. scattered everywhere.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter reviewing some of my rendered videos, I find out that most (if not all) of them lose or add a few frames during the rendering. This seems to happen within the first 30 seconds of my 3 minutes clips. My orginal MPEG2 files are OK, but not the rendered MPEG, after editing. To make sure of that, I review them in my Pro X4, I place the original on my main track, and I put the rendered MPEG on the overlay. I can then pin point the exact frame where that problem appears. My original file is of good quality and has been captured wih a hard disk camcorder (Sony SR100).
