View 2 RepliesI have been using Corel VideoStudio Pro X4 recently. I split a number of video files on a daily basis. This is what I do:
I take an Avi file that has a duration of about 30 minutes. I drag and drop the video into the "video track" area in the program.
Then I use the little "slider" thing and drag it to 15 minutes and click on the "scissors" symbol. which results in making the video split into 2 parts.
I delete the first part on the "video track" are and then I click on "share"-->"create video file"-->"custom"-->I choose Avi .
The compression I choose is Xvid Mpeg-4, 24 Bit RGB, and the Audio Format is Mpeg Layer 3, 8 Bits, 11.025 Hz Mono
The resulting video does not have any sound . This does not happen if I delete the 2nd part and create the video file with the first 15 minutes only. This happens with almost all of my videos (all of them are avi).
It was working before. Now I can't insert any audio at all. I even tried using some of the video clips that I have already extracted audio from and they no longer work. When I have it up in the source box I can play it and the aeudio is there. But if I ovrwrite the clip or drag the clip it adds the video only with no audio. Even if I try to drag just the audio it won't allow me to put it in any ofc the audio trays. Did I acidentally push a button and turn iaudio off. How do I fix this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow I can add an edited audio file to a MP4 video file? The problem is that the MP4 video already has audio files included with the import. I want to change those file and add the edited files. It seems that I can't delete or cut the audio files out of the video clip to add the edited version. By the way I am using Corel Video Studio Pro X3

I was working with 3D 6 hours ago and it worked just fine. Now, after the update, it won't.
I have completed a slide show and added 3 songs. The songs are showing up on the audio bar at the bottom, but when I do full-screen preview there is no audio. My speakers are working fine, i'm able to play songs from other programs. I am working in PS Elements 9 on Windows 7.
And another question, if i want to burn the slide show onto a DVD - what type should I buy?
the key functionality lost is the ability to use the previous layer mask for a new layer
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded my old VideoStudio 12.00 to VideoStudio Pro X4 and have only just started using the program again after a couple of years of absence so I am still on a learning curve.
Can I extract the audio from a video clip and if so how and how can I convert it, if necessary into an Audio Interchange File Format, so that I can export it to a program such as Audacity for removing background wind noise before importing the Audio back into the videoStudio project.
I have tried using all the audio filter functions in VS to remove the background noise, to no avail.
Video will not play properly [audio plays well video hangs ] in Adobe Photoshop CS6 running on a Win7-64 machine equipment with a quad-core processor. Video plays properly in Lightroom 4 and Bridge CS6.
View 6 Replies View Relatedwhen I upload a video to You Tube, I get a warning message that my video and audio are out of synch. Once uploaded, the video plays just fine, looks great. But I don't know why I get the warning when I upload. Video clip and audio track are the same length.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using VSP X3 Pro on a Windows 7 Professional 64bit PC. Input video files are AVCHD from a Canon SX 210s camera.
Picture format is QuickTime 1280x720, 24bit, frame rate 29.97, sound 16bit little Endian, 48000kHz, 16bit stereo. Files copied from an SD card.
I find that if I insert transition effects I lose the original recorded audio from that point forward in the clip that follows. If I do not use transition effects then the audio is fine. If I subsequently remove the transition then the audio is restored. It appears the transitions are the root cause of the problem. Identical problem if I use my Windows 7 32 bit laptop. The audio track remains visible in the timeline even when no sound can be heard.
Based on a previous suggestion I've used a workaround by converting the clips to a different format before editing. Using AVI, the audio in clips following a transition file is not lost but the video quality is seriously degraded.
I've reinstalled the software & all the three available patches. The problem has been around ever since I moved to my new PC on Windows 7.
I use VS ver 10.0 and during working on a project there were no problems. I use different files (audio and video) and after rendering lost some mpg audio files. Video is still there but audio is muted. wma and one mpg files works fine.
Project properties:
PAL (25 fps)
MPEG files
24 bits, 720 x 576, 25 fps
Lower Field First
(DVD-PAL), 16:9
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 8000 kbps)
Audio data rate: 224 kbps
MPEG audio layer 2, 48 KHz, Stereo
wma file properties (works fine after rendering):
mpg files, different ones (works fine after rendering):
mpg files (do not work, muted):
Is it possible to save them (muted audio)?
Can not preview audio of any kind. Audio works AFTER rendering, but not in VS11.5. HAve uninstalled and reinstalled software to no avail. I assume a codec issue, but don't want to install the wrong codec pack.

I am ready to pull out my hair.
I have been trying to do some color adjustments (b/w) to video and then export it to use in birth slideshows for my clients. Everything works great....until its time to playback the video after export...and which point I have NO audio. I have converted to a smart object and I have tried without converting it to a smart object. I have tried selecting all layers and then exporting/rendering. I have tried just opening a video and then exporting and rendering to see if it was something that I was doing in my adjustments that caused there to be no audio??... Nothing is working, though
I have read various comments (all over the web) saying that you can edit the video as long as you don't care about losing the sound...yet other sources say that you will have sound. What am I doing wrong?
I have a video that I want to work with using Photoshop CS6's new video and timeline features. To gain more control over the audio, I want to separate the audio so that it is a separate file from the video. I'm using Photoshop CS6 on Windows, but have access to Mac if necessary.

I am running Windows XP, and using Videostudio 11. I know I used to have the DIsable Audio Preview button available when capturing. I have not used the software in about a year and now the button is not available for me to turn off from the capture screen. How can i turn that off? I find that during capture i get less a chance of dropped frames if i turn off the Audio Preview.

No audio in the preview and even after render. Why??
I have created a movie from still (stills moving along to music). Stills are good quality. However, when I "play" the movie, the quality of the photos is lost (looks fine when not "playing") and they become blurred or pixelled.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently started using my DSLR (Nikon D800) to shoot some video. My wife has several musical projects and I'm just shooting some basic demo videos. But since these are musical projects, the audio is important. And while I plug the camera microphone port directly into the mixing board, and get really good audio, I still want to be able to work with the audio track separately to do some basic equalization, volume adjustment, etc.
Photoshop's video handling is pretty basic, and it seems all I can do with the audio track is delete it, adjust the master levels, or add an outside track.
Is there a way I can strip off and save the audio to a separate file and process it with audio software (what software?) so I can then re-add it Photoshop?
Am I approaching this from the wrong angle? I don't want to spend tons of money on a full video editing package. Is there audio software that can open the video file and just edit the audio track?
Just experimenting with grading in photoshop - so far so awsome
Trouble is I often dupe the original video layer to apply effects and this appears to dupe the audio - rendering the final audio totally overblown and distorted. - is there a way to switch it off for a specific layer?
how do I get photoshop to "render to ram" so I can preview changes in realtime?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhile editing a large video file (one hour), the audio playback worked for a while, but then simply stopped working. Can still see video and edit it, but without hearing the words / background, editing will not be correct. Is there a bug in the software or some way of reseting the file? I have noticed a similar issue with videos in LR4.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently bought the upgraded version of vsx2 (upgraded from vs10) and AGAIN i have experienced lost video filters.
The symptoms are slightly different, "video filters" are still listed in the drop down menu but when I click on them a tab pops up that read "all" when I click on that the library clears and only empty space is there, no filters. Is the fix the same as it was for VS10?
