Video will not play properly [audio plays well video hangs ] in Adobe Photoshop CS6 running on a Win7-64 machine equipment with a quad-core processor. Video plays properly in Lightroom 4 and Bridge CS6.
View 6 RepliesI'm trying to embed a video into my project and although the initial setup was simple, getting it to play in all browsers is proving to be very difficult. I've read more articles and forum threads than I care to recall, but just can't seem to find the right combination. Safari wil play audio only and IE10 gives me "Error: Unsupported video type or invalid file path".
I've contacted my host provider to ensure that the server is compatible with all video formatts and I've had other people from different locations try to play the video with slightly varied results, but ultimately the video doesn't play for them either. Here is the code I'm using:

For some reason today it just stopped paying the audio from my Nikon D300S video files. I tried importing a new file but that won't play either and I reloaded the program and that won't work either. I know the audio is that as it will play in Windows.

View 3 Replies View Related. I have CS6 Pro and my video is very choppy. I used to edit in Sony Vegas and my videos play fine there. I wanted to step up and edit with a more advanced editor and it doesn't work!!! Here is what I do. Shoot with GoPro 3, take the video to GoPro Studio and make a MOV. file to remove fisheye. Take the MOV. file and edit it with Premiere. It plays smooth for 3-5sec then starts to stutter. My specs on my computer are:

Again my Sony Vages $70 program can edit without any problems but I am stuck with CS6!!!!

Can I extract the audio from a video clip and if so how and how can I convert it, if necessary into an Audio Interchange File Format, so that I can export it to a program such as Audacity for removing background wind noise before importing the Audio back into the videoStudio project.
I have tried using all the audio filter functions in VS to remove the background noise, to no avail.

I have restarted closed all other programs and my PC is not overtaxed. I have tried to play other videos that I had created with no issue and the same problem exists.

but it shows video frames, when I hover mouse from left to right edge of item in LibraryGrid view. Seems like output of "Loupe" for video is broken and play control (scroll and buttons) is disabled. Have tried LR 5.0 and LR 5.2 RC.
Quick time 7.7.4 plays this files perfectly.

I recently downloaded Premiere Pro through Creative Cloud and I have now made a video I wish to share with friends and family. The only trouble is, whenever I export it, the video saves and shows up in my folders but if I try to open it a notice comes up saying " Server execution failed". Why does this happen and how can I get my video to play on things such as Windows Media Player? I have used Premiere Pro at college many times before and all the exporting details looked fine but that didn't work and even when I made a few adjustments.

View 5 Replies View RelatedVideo Post to Backburner network render hangs on next frame..I use Max’s Video Post to setup my render sequences to submit them to backburner. There are a couple issues with video post but not as bad as the one I have now. Each time I setup a render and submit it to backburner the first frame assigned to each system will render fine but then the servers get hung-up “waiting for frame” and consume ALL of the available RAM. Of course if I don’t do network render, the video post runs without a hitch. That of course defeats the purpose of having a render farm that video post SHOULD be able to use. And also, if I go through the ‘render’ dialog box, and do network rendering, I can get each series of frames done as well but it’s not as clean and orderly as with video post.
Oddly enough, in Max 2009, all of this worked just fine. Ever since they (autodesk) fixed (broke) backburner in 2012 video post has never been the same. Since I am a lowly low budget animator, video post was a bonus in 2009 for having everything in one bundle for mixing and matching multiple views and inputs with overlays for production. It was great! One could set it and forget it overnight and in the AM all that was left was compile the images to sequenced avi. Alas, that has been somewhat limited now in that you can only render the views that are active, so max of 4 views or cameras (if this has changed for others pls let me know). Annoying especially if you forget to have a single camera active and set the render and it then hangs on it… no visual error saying such and such is missing just dumb blank screen (sometimes).
Another oddity, after saving a video post layout, if I open that file on a secondary system for edits, the video post will have blanks for file outputs. I’ll then have to re-point the outputs to be able to use the limited video post functionality. A pain and can deal with it but still, the outputs are all on networked drives (all mapped to same drive letter etc) and ever if I direct it straight through the network they go blank; i.e. \serversharediretoryoutputs
I’m attaching a simple ‘teapot race’ max file that exhibits the same problem of the video post on render fails just in case it’s a file setup issue.Also find below the log file outputs of a system during the aforementioned hanging render sequence. , I was running the debug and the log shows max hanging on the ‘waiting for frame’ then eventually dumps the job, reloads, does 1 frame, then hangs again for 10-15mins.
I'm using Photoshop Elements 10 Organizer with Premiere Elements10 Installed. I have a number of files of type MTS which I understand to be AVCHD and are imported from my Panasonic Lumix TZ20 camera which captures HD video. These files will not play in the Organizer, resulting in a message stating the required Codec is missing. However, when the same file is sent to Premiere Elements for Editingand agreeing to a message to have Premiere set the correct properties for the media type it plays perfectly. What am I do wrong? Are there any settings I need to change to have Organizer also play the file successfully?

In this scenario lets say I have to overlays each with a video on them.Video A takes half the display and Video B takes the other half - so that they are side to side.
They are staggered in playback where the first ( Video A ) plays first and ends first and the second ( Video B) begins mid-way through when Video A plays.
I would like Video A to not go away after play but rather remain "still" on the last frame while Video B continues playing.
I've owned X4 Pro for about a year and just now purchased X5 Pro/Ultimate. We use it for our voice over business, which on occasion needs to edit videos for very simple projects. VS seemed to fit the bill at its price point, but now I'm second guessing my decision.
The issue is the time it takes from hitting the "Play" button to the time it actually begins. I would have thought it to begin instantly. But instead it takes 2 ~ 3 seconds to start. It has been this way with both X4 and X5. Before you ask, it has been this way using the following setups:
Windows XP with both stock motherboard video and with Asus Geforce 210 (VS X4)
Windows 7 with both stock motherboard video and with newly bought MSI R6850 Cyclone 1GD5 Power Edition (both VS X4 & X5)
Types of videos used: every type of file extension I could get my hands on and every type of length (full length movies to a few second snippets).
Llightroom 4.4 crashes everytime I try to playback video causing the app to close. The video loads fine, I can see the thumbnail, but when I hit play I hear audio for a few seconds, the video doesn't typically play or plays for only 1 second then the app crashes. Video files play fine in quicktime or Windows media. This happened in 4.3 as well so not related to the upgrade to 4.4. Here is what is logged in the Windows error log.

Was able to trim and save 11 clips in new video files over 2-3 sessions, but then program hung after initiating 12th save. No duplicate file names, ie file already exsists. Computer show 100% CPU usage implying program has gone into loop. Have to use Window task mgr to end VideoStudio. When restarted VS indicates it is completing save started in previous session but creates empty file. Removing all Ulead files and folders I can find from computer left after uninstall, and all references I can find from registry, then reinstalling VideoStudio does not fix problem. I did not remove the video files in my user directory. There are no project files. Assume something remains on computer preventing clean reinstall and removal of bug.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have PSP X3...we are having a family reunion, and decided to create a DVD slideshow of past and present family members to show on a TV screen. The idea was to use a DVD player to play the slideshow, and hopefully be able to give out DVDs of the slideshow to family members at the reunion.
We have been able to create the slideshows using Project Creator: the slideshow consists of typical jpg files scanned using a typical scanner/printer of old photographs. The slideshow is a default .AVI container, which all 3 DVD players we have tried to use state they support AVI. However, none of the DVD players have been able to play the slideshow, saying "disc error", or "disc is not compatible for playing or recording".
My question is, do we need to use the actual Corel PSP X3 program, in order to make the slideshow work? We are able to connect a laptop to a widescreen TV for showing at the reunion, but this would kill our ability to hand out DVDs of the slideshow to family members, as they would 1) need a PC, and 2) need Corel PSP X3 in order to make the slideshow play.
Surely there should be a way to make the video play for typical DVD player support. We have used a Sony, Panasonic, and a Memorex DVD player, with the 1st two options being fairly new, DVR devices.

I have been trying to do some color adjustments (b/w) to video and then export it to use in birth slideshows for my clients. Everything works great....until its time to playback the video after export...and which point I have NO audio. I have converted to a smart object and I have tried without converting it to a smart object. I have tried selecting all layers and then exporting/rendering. I have tried just opening a video and then exporting and rendering to see if it was something that I was doing in my adjustments that caused there to be no audio??... Nothing is working, though
I have read various comments (all over the web) saying that you can edit the video as long as you don't care about losing the sound...yet other sources say that you will have sound. What am I doing wrong?

The screen resolution is too small to play the video. The screen resolution must be set to at least 1024 x 768". Well the screen res is on 1600 x 900, so i thought i would have that covered. I tried changing the screen res to 1024x768 and get the same message.
