we started working in a project in Revit 2013 and at one point we decided to export all drawings to Autocad . I have a huge problem , the Text we used in Revit was Architxt but in Autocad it shows all the text in Ariel font and AutoCad won't let me change it to Architxt again, so far it is fine I can deal with that. the problem is I tried to create a new Architxt text style in Autocad but it shows as Arial font. now all my our projects are missed up , the text shows in Arial font.
example: elevation label is 123 and the style setting in simplex, it used to show all in simplex now one of the number is in arial?
i already tried to create a dummy text style with all the correct setting and type a test word and voila - it shows one of the letter in a different font!
I have a brand new windows 7 computer with LT 2013. I had XP with LT 98. All my old files seem to have transferred over with one exception. My old architxt.shx font does not seem to be available to me. Even though it shows up graphically on my old drawing text, any new text becomes romans.shx. I even tried copying some existing text and that didn't work either. I have the font on a floppy disc but my new computer doesn't have a floppy drive. Is this font available?
One other problem. Hatching my old drawings is very slow. Works fine in new drawings.
I am using Revit 2013 and I am trying to create a text parameter for my windows that will tell you what grid is installed in the window according to which grids you choose (from my parameters above) I have included a picture to better show what I am trying to do. So far the parameters i have tried to use don't seem to work.
it is possible to create text and then attach a formula to it to change it.
For example:I want to be able to draw or pick a line and if the line is less than X ft than "Say this" if the line is greater than X ft than "Say that"
I am looking for a way to change the text style used by a table style with Visual LISP. So far I have been able to get the IAcadTableStyle object from the acad_tablestyle dictionary, but there is no property for text style. Is this even possible? Code and results are below.
For labels, is the font decided in the general tab under text style or in the text component editor under the format tab? Are there overrides? There seems to be multiple locations for fonts choices when creating a label and I can't find a nice black and white answer.

I have inside every text,Mtext contents different text style like Arial_1 , Arial_2.
How i can give all the contents inside one style ? the normal procedure i will enter inside text to enter editing mode and changing text format style one by one. I want it once.
I want to save my routing of entering every text to change its content text style.
(Notice:select all from outside without editing mode will not do the job)
Is there a way to search for a text style in a civil style? I have a text style that our company is trying to get rid of and I would very much like to not have to go through our 72 company styles.

I've been trying to style my sheet list schedule. ... trying. Is it true that I can't
* style (fontsize, fontweight etc) a 'sorting header'? * style the scheduleborder to only underline the sheetlist-rows * seperate the header styles from sheetlist styles? (I don't want the header to have a border.... while sheetlist-row should be underlined) * format the height of a row
How I can edit the default appearance of a Linear Dimension Style. Basically I want to change the default placement of the actual value over the arrow.
I´ve attached two pictures that shows what i mean.
I have tried 2 methods of generating a parapet cap:
1 - Creating a wall style with the sweep.
2 - Added a host sweep.
The problem is that using either method or a combination of both methods doesn't always work. I still end up with some caps that don't miter correctly even after editing. Sometimes, different intersections will miter and others won't.
Is there a way to create a "master" numbering style (say, a number in a filled circle) to annotate an image of something else? I know there are technical drawing suites that do this, but was hoping that there was a way in illustrator (or indesign) Attached image shows the result im going for (yes I know I can do this manually, looking for an optimized way of doing it).
I don't want to create a table on a sheet, I want to define a new style and then assign the style to the existing table.
I have no problem assigning the style once it is defined in the drawing to the existing table.
Dim oTableStyle As Inventor.TableStyle oTableStyle = oDrawingDoc.StylesManager.TableStyles("BOM") Dim oTable As Inventor.CustomTable oTable = oSheet.CustomTables.Item(1) oTable.Style = oTableStyle
There doesn't seem to be a TableStyles collection with an add or create event. I stumbled upon the "TableFormat" object but that seems to only override an existing style.
looked at the "StylesManager" but again I am not finding a create method.
I'm using Inventor 2013 and I'm trying to create a new dimension style that shows a box or parenthesis rather than a dimension. The purpose is so the workers in the field can measure a part and fill in the dimension.
So far the best I can do is make a dimension style that is white so that it comes out as a space. The other option was to manually override the dimension, but I don't want to go into every drawing and change every dimension.
What I would truly like is if the dimension would automatically come out looking like this [ ]
