I've been trying to style my sheet list schedule. ... trying.Is it true that I can't
* style (fontsize, fontweight etc) a 'sorting header'?
* style the scheduleborder to only underline the sheetlist-rows
* seperate the header styles from sheetlist styles? (I don't want the header to have a border.... while sheetlist-row should be underlined)
* format the height of a row
I have the below code where by I can gain access to property sets.
But it doesn't look like the Schedule Styles are there.
How can I change this up to get access to Schedule Styles defined in the drawing?

Im trying to change the table style formatting and nothing seems to stick. I want to turn the border off in the title cell and only use a thick underline.
I change the schedule cell, save changes to the style and Ive tried saving as a new style but when I reinsert the cell format is gone. Back to the out of the box state.
Also, when I save the OTB style to my new A3 Sheet Keynote style the new style doesnt match what was saved.
I have a student who added Note Schedules on a Sheet, then right clicked on one of them and "Hide in View-Element". Now it shows on the Properties as being on the Sheet, but we can't seem to Unhide it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn customizing a sheet template, I entered into a "Schedule: Revision Schedule". I made the minor adjustments, but can not get back to the sheet template.
The 'Project Browser' only has "Schedules" under 'Views'. (refer to attached image) I know the rest of the content from the sheet (eg. titleblock) are still in the file, as it still is present when I "Load into Project".
How do you exit the schedule editor from a sheet template file?

Currently, in order to show the correct material on a parts list, I have to duplicate the material Stainless Steel, and rename it to say 20 Gauge Stainless Steel. Then again for 16 Ga, 14Ga, 12 Ga, etc...
I'd like to have the parts list show the common material such as "Stainless Steel", with another column for the sheet metal style such as "20 Gauge."
We also use items such as Plastic Laminate. I'd like to create a generic material for the physical properties of "Plastic Laminate", and then change the material appearance to say "Formica #1234 Walnut". Again, i'd like to be able to put this in (2) columns on the parts list.
Today I adjusted our title block. Scale is automated by the scale view of the views placed. It becomes 'as indicated' is multiple scale are used. No problem, that part I can live with (/ workaround).
Sadly the scale doesn't appear on a sheet list schedule. Which surprises me . With revit 2012 I was wondering: I am wrong? If not: do you have a nice workaround which doesn't mean I have to manually input it.
I was wondering if it's possible to create a sheet list that uses keys. I'm trying to create a sheet list that will also have key dates listed with whether or not changes occurred to that sheet (something our project managers like to see). In the attached image you can see how we're doing it today.
I can get everything with the exception of the dates that allow a yes/no style for them. Is there anyway to recreate this in Revit? If not could I make a separate key schedule for just the date portion and align it with the sheet list. In essence creating two separate schedules aligned so it looks like one schedule? I tried setting up that, but cant seem to create a key schedule that will allow me to use sheet items for sorting purposes.
I have a Revit problem that seems straightforward, but not to me at the moment. We have a label in the title block. The label comprises 3 parameters concatenated with “-“ separators:

We have a project where we have the model separated by discipline, arch, struct, mech and Elec. As I work on the arch model, I have all other models linked, each has generated its sheets. When I create a sheet list I only get the sheets on my model. Is it possible to create a sheet list from linked models?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWe're transitioning from ACA2012 to ACA2014. I'm also trying to get away from putting my blocks in DesignCenter and having our users insert Annotation (tags) from the Ribbon bar.
When I insert our door tag (or any schedule tag) from the ribbon bar, it is automatically changing the text style to the current text style. I'd rather it just use the style built into the tag. I know that can be controlled in the Designcenter content (right-click) - but how do I change that from the ribbon bar?

I’m wondering if there is a way to export schedule from Revit to Excel..
We have a custom built schedule which has the typical "Comments" field. As we aork in our project and add items to that particular row, the "Comments" field gets reset to be blank.
What we are trying to do in effect is to establish a reference point so the we know where we are in relative to the reference point.
Is there a way to make the "Comments" field stick?
is there any way to schedule objects by id number?, maybe through a formula within the schedule that may call the id or the revit API and if that is the case
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to add the typical category of "glazing" to a door schedule, but when I add a door with glass into my project, I cannot make this information show up on my schedule. I need typical information such as "!/4" Temp" and "1" Insul" under the category of glazing. I added the "Door: Glass" heading in the schedule, but nothing appears when I add a glass door into the project. I was able to easily do this in AutoCAD Architecture.

Revision schedule sorting improperly? For some reason it seems this particular schedule is sorting by month and ignoring the year.

Every dimension under the thickness column reads 0'-2" instead of just 2" or whatever the thickness may be. I could just make a new parameter, but I was hoping to edit the current thickness parameter.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I've created a door schedule and added all the parameters I needed. But to get the "room name" to list and be associated with the door tags I had to choose either if the doors were going to a room or from a room, so I chose to, however, some of the doors swing are leaving the room so instead of tagging them with the corridor we want them associated with the room. But I can't edit the column the room names are in. If I click on a cell it gives me a drop menu on the side of what I can choose for that cell and it doesn't have the listed room that I need. It does not let me just type in the cell is there a way to fix this?! The blue highlighted name shows my option of what I can list as the room name or I can leave it blank, it lets me click inside the cell as if I could just put text in it but it actually doesn't show anything that I type.
