View 3 RepliesI have drawn a rectangular double curved roof (hyperbolic paraboloid). Did that just by adjusting shape handles up and down in diagonally opposite corners.
I want to draw a grid on it mostly as a graphical thing, so its shape is evident. Have tried model lines which won't attach even when grouped.
I would like to know what is the best way to design a form of facade, similliar to the picture of the building I have uploaded and mentioned in the title of this post? Take note that I still am relatively unexperienced with the program

View 2 Replies View RelatedWe are trying to take advantage of non-rectangular crop regions and running into an issue. We are placing (2) views with non-rectangular crop regions on a sheet, one view shows existing geometry in a linked model and the other view shows new geometry in the model the sheet resides in. As a side note, we are doing this to create simplified diagrammatic phasing plans, the merits of which should be another topic. What seems to be happening, is the graphics within the rectangular boundary of the view, but outside of the crop region is masking the other view. The graphics appear correct in the print preview and on a print. Please see images for a clearer understanding.I have tried turning off hardware acceleration and anti-aliasing with no change.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHow to create a very small DXF file with just a rectangular frame and the words "Missing Proforma"?
I have a VB6 program for producing our loop drawings which modifies a DXF drawing. All works very nicely but sometimes mistakes are made in the database and my routine gets upset. Previously it just reported the error but today I modified it to look for a "blank" dxf file on the network. This works very well but I am aware that if the folder gets renamed my routine won't find the file.
I thought that I could hard code the dxf file into my VB prog but the DXF file I made is VERY big, and I am sure contains a lot more information than is actually necessary for my needs.
I want to create a rectangular picture but I want quite pronounced curved corners
I now I can change all the corner pixels to a differant colour ot make them transparent but as I want to do this to lots of pics I am hoping there is an easier way.
is it possible to create a rig, then animate, then skin it to the model?
The reason why I ask is, what if a team is working on a project. One person is working on the model and the other can work on the animation, do you think they are able to meet in the middle, instead of waiting for the model to be completed?

Calculation of the double face of a wall,
I’m wondering if there is a way to calculate the area of double face of a given wall. For exam, say that we have a wall of 4x4x0.1 meter then the area of one face is 16m2 while the double face is 32m2. Does the Revit calculate the double face of a given wall?

He creates metalic looking skin using curves, displacement maps, curves etc...but on his last "15 - Nicole Face" lesson there are steps which are skipped....
My question is does anyone know how he adjusts the curves to create highlights on the images (One looks like he has played around with the curves and animated it...I don't know how he has done this).

[URL]........
How can I trace Kimidori Emiri, in the aforementioned image, and cut her out so that she looks like Hatsune Miku (smooth and not jagged) in the following image?
[URL]......
Things I have tried:
- I tried two different outline plugins but was unable to get them to work.
- I tried tracing Kimidori Emiri using the line tool but I'm not sure how to delete the rest of the image and it's really difficult to get a smooth cut anyway.
- I tried selecting pixels using the magic wand tool and it was great except the tool ended up selecting pixels that are apart of Kimidori Emiri too.
I am having trouble creating the realistic skin pores. I have started playing with blues, yellow and reds for skin tones but am still unable to find a way to create skin pores in mudbox.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI occasionally use GIMP to burn-down parts of portraits that compete with the face. For example, bare shoulder, midriff over-light, hands over-lit.
The skin ends up looking greyish, not like less-lit skin. It works not too badly visually, as the emphasis is on the face, but fails on inspection.
I have tried the burn tool and just plain old Brightness, both on a selected area.

So far I was working with Autocad (importing a dxf). Is there a way to rotate at the same time all the points labels, wich in this case are just text items?
