I've already downloaded the 2013 Service Pack 1 for this problem but I still get the popup message every half hour or so (see attached image).
I only used the service for a render once with Revit Architecture 2013. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.
How can I connect two computers in sync with the Autodesk 360? So when you change the properties of an item element in one computer to another feature of the modified element synchronized.

How is the best way to keep sync with clips that have audio. In Premiere for example, when a clip contains audio it handles both video and audio as a single thing until I explicitly unlink them. But in Smoke, even with the option Select linked, which as far as I can tell it only works for selecting and activate that little arrow (do not remember the name of the function) in the tracks table, keeps all ok but only on that track.
This is the normal operation of Smoke? He really will always treat the audio and video of same clip as separate things? Am I missing something? Because at least for me, that's came from Premiere, always be remembering to set all the tracks and always go to the menu and select Enable linked is what most complicates the editorial work in Smoke.
I recently switched from AJA K3 to a BMD Decklink HD Extreme.
Initial testing went reasonably well - working at 1080psf23.98 - output was solid, tape layoffs and captures were frame accurate on short tests.
I'm finishing up a long form 48 minute show, and the audio sync drifts over the course of the layoff. It's about 1 frame per 10 min of content.
By 47:30+00, my audio is 5 frames early during Tape Output - a sync pop is at 47:29+19 - but picture is spot on. Usually I'm working in short form TVCs, so I may have never noticed this - but it's definitely a problem for longer work.
To hit my delivery, I exported a ProRes QT, and laid off from FCP - kind of humiliating to have to depend on FCP for tape workflows.
I also had problems batch capturing from 1080i tape - it could do individual clips if I manually set ins and outs, but Batch Capture never cued up properly in 1080i - it kept rolling back and forth over the cue point, tried 10 times, then gives it up.
I've done this a hundred times with the AJA card and never had a problem - but the BMD is not nearly as solid... (Also performed the Batch Capture in FCP without issues - so the hardware and BMD software seem to be working fine - but not with Smoke.)

The GUI and broadcast monitors in all 3 of our Smokes (Mac) are out of sync by 2 frames.
I know there is a Audio offset, but that will always throw one of the monitors out.
Is there a playback delay or offset that can be used to sync bother the UI monitor and the Broadcast Monitor?
Currently having to use the shortcut Shift+B+F13 to switch between Sync to Hi-Res and Sync to Broadcast depending on the situation.
i'd love to see a tutorial on how to sync externally recorded sound to clips.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with audio in Video Studio 3. When I insert an AVI file into the timeline and edit it, the audio becomes offset with the video. I have tried just inserting the audio but have the same problem.
If I insert the audio file and click on Sound Mixer I can see the waveform of the file. Although I can hear the audio from the start, the first 1 second of the waveform is at zero and the waveform remains 1 second behind the sound.
If I pause the file and click the curser further along then the offset becomes much greater, around 30 seconds.
If I split the clip at say 10 seconds and delete the first 10 seconds then move the remainder to zero on the time scale, the the remaining file seems to have around 30 seconds missing from the start but the waveform shown stays correct.
I have tried with ripple editing turned on and off. Becoming very frustrated when trying to sync four cameras and their audio.
I have Revit server setup, with my Central server at Head office and a local server at one our smaller office. We have some large files (600 MB +) we need to sync and update. The issue we are finding is the initial download of the files takes a very long time and we want to know if it is possible to take a copy of the file from the central via USB/Disk and place it onto the local server or the local user? Then start editing and get the sync to work with only file changes. Is this possible and if so where do I copy the file to once I have it at my local site?

We are able to connect to our local server and sync and relinquish the revit model. We had setup another server in our branch office. Now, how to sync the revit model in the local server to the server in branch office. We are able to see both the servers in revit server admin and also copy paste files through browser.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI keep getting an error pop-up that the ElementsOrganizerSync - No Disk. I doesnt go away, when I tell it to close it pops right back open. It started when I deleted some Actions I'd added to my library. Also, Actions that I've added recently are not showing up even though I've added them correctly. I plan to upgarde to version 11 but it has to wait a few more weeks.

I cannot see the Switch enables auto sync on the Metadata sync button. Its currently visible on another machine a MacPro with Lightroom v4.3. I find this useful to be bale quickly enable and disable the syncing of metadata. Has this been dropped in v4.4 or have I missed a prefs setting somewhere?
I am trying to adjust two D800 files simultaniously. Thus I select both images, toggle the Sync button to the Auto Sync state.
But, the adjustments done to the most selected image do not copy over to the other image, while this is the expected behaviour.

In ACAD 2013, everytime I try to sync my settings to "the cloud", the pull down menu reads "Customization Syn - Error". I am signed in OK to Autodesk 360. Stand alone 64 bit installation on a single machine.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis same thing was happening in Photoshop CS3 and I could never figure out why. I figured that since CS4 was coming out, I would buy it, stop using CS3 and the problem would be solved, well it's not. So far, I'm happy with the new program but for some reason, out of nowhere, while working on a photo, the Photoshop Help window (which opens as a web browser window) will pop up for no reason! Today, it popped up over 6 or 7 times and I nearly had to crash the program to get it to stop. I figured this problem would have been solved with the new version since the same thing was happening in CS3 but it hasn't. I'm running a Windows XP-based machine that I built myself about 2 years ago. I have a 512mb ATI Raedon X1650 video card and have 4GB of RAM so this machine has far more than enough power to run the program. I updated my video and mouse drivers prior to installing the program.

Had this issue in PS7. PS CS6 was fine until recently, but now it does the same thing.
Pops up a help page (usually several) in a browser. Seems to occur primarily when the fx (layer style) pane is open.
popup boxes like the one that occurs on export to set compression level, as well as the notifier of colour profile (option to keep or convert) appear behind the main window of Gimp, so I need to alt+tab over to the new window.
Is there a way to adjust this so that they pop up on top of Gimp?

I'm getting this message when trying to output a QT movie from SAP2 SP3.
No problems rendering tiff's et al but I need QTs.

When I open the program I get a pop up that says Autodesk Revit has stopped working. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. I am not sure what happened because it was working fine about a week ago then it stopped working all of sudden. I did a system restore to when I thought it worked last and nothing.

I have to run CS6 on both my XP and W7 partitions - (some other apps I use are not W7 compatible, so having CS6 on XP sure saves a lot of dual booting).
I haven't found a way in the prefs to stop it appearing - I wish there was a "Don't Show Again" checkbox on it at least.
I usually use photoshop (cs6) in full screen mode with menu bar. Often I use the window+d shortcut to return to the desktop. From here, whatever window I open, ie my browser, explorer, etc, photoshop pops up in the background minus all the menu bars. This is very annoying because it means I cannot work with files on my desktop.

Instead, minor losses are applied as an equivalent friction loss over the length of each pipe. Given this calculation methodology, there should never be any "jumps" in the EGL at standard junctions since no loss is occuring there. Each profile simulation that I run, however, invariably shows jumps in the EGL at various junctions. Some junctions even exhibit an increase in EGL, which makes no logical sense. Also, the HGL is droping at each junction unexpectedly too.I've attached an example where the flow is constant, and all minor losses are 0.

I have a student license for Autodesk Maya 2012 (I'll need it for school), but whenever I try and start up the setup, I get this weird message:
error 1321. The installer has insufficient privileges to modify the file C:Program FilesAutodeskMaya2012PYTHON_LICENSE
Then the following message:
Fatal error during installation. #229: failed to run AdskExecuteSequence
Then "Failed to initialize Autodesk Maya 2012"
And then it the installation exits itself out.
I have a 32bit Windows computer.
