The attached images show that quickproperties is not checked, yet while selecting objects the quickproperties dialogue box will randomly appear against my desires (I am unable to continue selecting objects once quickproperties is displayed).

I have to run CS6 on both my XP and W7 partitions - (some other apps I use are not W7 compatible, so having CS6 on XP sure saves a lot of dual booting).
I haven't found a way in the prefs to stop it appearing - I wish there was a "Don't Show Again" checkbox on it at least.
I opened a file I had been working on yesterday on a different Mac, and got the error message: "3D functionality is currently disabled due to OpenGL being disabled." I am currently using MacBook Pro (2008), running Mac OS 10.9, using PhotoShop CC. I've already looked at Ps Preferences>Performance and I see this.

When I try to start Inventor is attempts to open and shows up in the active processes list for a few seconds.
Sometimes it will quit before the splash screen appears and sometimes a split second after it appears. No error messages or computer lag, it just simply quits. I'll list the steps I've taken so far. (Windows 7 64 bit)
Deleted the Cascadeinfo.cas file
I've had an error when my 3d connexion mouse trys to start so I uninstalled the drivers.
IT guy could open Inventor from his login on my computer but still not with mine.
Deleted Autodesk folder in the AppData folder and deleted the Cascadeinfo.cas again.
Did a "Repair" of Inventor.
Did a "Re-Install" of Inventor.
Nothing has worked yet and the only advice I'm finding is in regards to deleting the Cascadeinfo.cas file.
My thoughts are that the key to this problem is the fact that it works for other users on this machine. I just don't know what it is or how to fix it.
This same thing was happening in Photoshop CS3 and I could never figure out why. I figured that since CS4 was coming out, I would buy it, stop using CS3 and the problem would be solved, well it's not. So far, I'm happy with the new program but for some reason, out of nowhere, while working on a photo, the Photoshop Help window (which opens as a web browser window) will pop up for no reason! Today, it popped up over 6 or 7 times and I nearly had to crash the program to get it to stop. I figured this problem would have been solved with the new version since the same thing was happening in CS3 but it hasn't. I'm running a Windows XP-based machine that I built myself about 2 years ago. I have a 512mb ATI Raedon X1650 video card and have 4GB of RAM so this machine has far more than enough power to run the program. I updated my video and mouse drivers prior to installing the program.

Pops up a help page (usually several) in a browser. Seems to occur primarily when the fx (layer style) pane is open.
I just recently started getting an error when I try to slice something, Right as i click to slice, an error pops up saying "Could not complete your request because of a program error".

I usually use photoshop (cs6) in full screen mode with menu bar. Often I use the window+d shortcut to return to the desktop. From here, whatever window I open, ie my browser, explorer, etc, photoshop pops up in the background minus all the menu bars. This is very annoying because it means I cannot work with files on my desktop.

I only used the service for a render once with Revit Architecture 2013. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.
I have just installed Illustrator 9.0, running on Windows 7. The install was fine but when I try to launch the program I receive the following 2 errors:
1) "Pencil or smooth tool out of memory. Try editing at a smaller zoom magnification".I click OK because that's the only option. The next error window occurs with:
2) "The filter cannot complete because of an unknown error" Error: IMEM.I click ok again because that's the only option.
Then the program crashes and I have to exit.
When I open a .NEF file, the Camera Raw window pops up and I save the file in a .dng format.

But then, I cannot open the .dng file with Photoshop Elements (Camera Raw pops up automatically).

I have created a background for a flyer I am making, but would like to add text that takes on the design of the background. So imagine that the background is a piece of cloth, if you placed you hand under the cloth the cloth would take on the impression of the hand. So the text would be poppin' out at the viewer from what would look like underneath the background. Something similar to this. I have seen it on other flyers and was just wondering how it is done.
View 9 Replies View RelatedThis has been occurring for a while, and is quite consistent, but I've never bothered to ask. When I select Find/From History/Imported On, a window pops up with "Delete Keyword Tags" and a progress bar which starts to move. I always immediately hit cancel, and then the "Select one or more groups you imported" window comes up, so I select the date and things work fine.

So what is going on with the "Delete Keyword Tags" window? I've not noticed any tags get deleted, but am I risking losing them if I didn't immediately hit cancel?
I want to "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings File", but at startup when I hold down [ctrl alt shift] I get the "scratch disc preferences" window instead. It was fine for a long while and this just started recently.

I have Windows and Photoshop CS5. The scratch disc preferences is on the first selection 'start up'.
I opened a document and it popped up a messages asking if I want to revert to the saved version YES or NO. This is weird because I didn't try to open the document twice. I suspect it is a macro that was causing this problem but I have many so it could take a while to locate the culprit. I also suspect a windows 7 update may have caused an interference with the macro.Â

i dont know how to change the topic to "solved" however a collegue told me to enter MAXACTVP at the command line the value was 16, i was told to set it to 64 ( i had 21 viewports ) and they all came on.
I double click on <Set Layer style on current layer> and change to a new Layer Style for my Watermark Text. The <Contour> is Linear. The Actions panel turns red during editing.But when I run > Automate > Batch and select that edited Action, the <Layer Style> screen pops-up for each photo and the only way to finish the batch of photos is to click <OK> for each photo. I’m using Photoshop CS5. I have refresh Photoshop, restart my laptop but the problem remains.

I did another copy of the original Action and just changed the value in <Text Layer> and it works in the Batch processing. This problem only happens when I changed the value in the <Layer Style>.
Undo has been disabled in order to prevent undo file overflow...
Is there anyway to increase the Undo capabilities.
I'm trying to change the BOM structure of some sub-assemblies from "Normal" to "Phantom". However, some are displayed as disabled and therefore do not allow any changes/overrides. How can I enable these in the BOM?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have used a few times 'Stress analysis' before. Today I discovered it is disabled. I applied a software update (SP1, build 222), after which I could run a Stress analysis again. However, Inventor crashed soon, and after restarting it, Stress analysis is disabled again. In 'Add-In Manager' the 'Simulation: Stress analysis' is shown as 'Automatic/Loaded'.
UPDATE: I have unchecked the 'Load Automatically' option for this module, quit Inventor, started it again, loaded the module and now it seems to work. I don't know yet for how long...
UPDATE2: well I could start a Stress analysis, but everything is disabled there, I can not create a simulation for example.
I'm using 3D Max Design. I am unable to move an object on the Z axis of the gizmo. When I attempt to do so, a yellow line follows the path of my drag. I can move an object up and down only if I drag by all 3 axis.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have encountered the paste as block command of using AutoCAD 2012. i exploded the block and modified. After that i select the objects that i exploded and want to create another block again. I could do it before now most of the time when i select the objects and used the commond option " copy with base point" . When i select the base poing it took about 7-8 seconds( which is supposed to be very long) and in the commond line it display as Img-1. After i selected the base point..again it will take a few seconds and display the following Img-2 & Img-3. And my autocad performance is really slow nowadays. Any option i can do for faster speed? Especially whenever i select the object i hv to wait about 3 seconds.

I tried showing this to a coworker this morning, and discovered it doesn't work any more. Was this functionality removed in IV2012?
I am trying to use a shared project with my other colleagues. Problem we are having that we are not getting into how to change the File Check in/out Status (option is disabled/greyed) . Do we required administrative rights to do that?
Note: We don't have vault.
Undo Command still turning off (disabled) constantly even after dumping the temp folder, and the turn off, turn on solution does not seem to work either.
Any solutions to this nagging issue other than re-install?
