I am having very frequent recoverable errors - havent seen any pattern but happens in veiws and mostly editing operations. I am filling in the error reports and there must be quite a collection now of mine.

I have not been able to open them or recover them. How can I recover these documents. I've tried to open them in AutoCAD WS... but they fail on upload. I've tried to attach the files, but it says they are too large.
Fatal Errors when editing large amounts of MText? I usually have to insert a good amount of drawing notes that we keep in word documents on our network and i find that the process of editing them causes me to Fatal Error when trying even the simplest edit, like erasing a sentence or changing a name.
How to edit the document in word before copy/pasting it into CAD, but the documents are locked for editing as is our standard practice for the general notes that we use.
I am going to make a dummy drawing in hopes of making my changes in an empty drawing, (although I strongly feel this is not a file size issue but a word to CAD translation issue).
I am using Autodesk Revit Architecture 2013. I am using mirror project from the manage pulldown under position. I have used this tool many times in the past with success. This particular home is an average size two story. The file is about 40Mb. I tried flipping the home and Revit gets to about 29% and stopps. I let it run for an hour over lunch, even over night and no luck. I tried the same house on another computer running Autodesk Revit Arch. 2013 and it did the same thing.
I tried purging the file, I made sure nothing was locked, I even got rid of my grouped items. I tried copying the plan into another "fresh" file with nothing extra (like title blocks or other families).
I do have some floor framing shown in this plan. I used structural 2x10s to produce the framing (I did try getting rid of the framing and it didnt work). I tried turning off the roof lines (it has about three reverse gables) and nothing.

Sometimes I am unable to move the faces of 3DSolids and get the error messages like "Modeling Operation Error: Gap cannot be filled" or "Modeling Operation Error: No solution for a vertex". Haven't found a pattern of error yet, but today I copy clipped some 3D solids from another drawing into my current drawing and found that the move face wouldn't work after that. If I draw a simple 3D solid within the current drawing, the move face won't work; but, if I copy clip that same object into a new, blank drawing, the move face works.

I've set up a drop down menu with various page setups coming from another file (-psetupin).
If I initiate a page setup for our Plotter or Printer, everything works fine. If I initiate a page setup for the 'dwg to pdf.pc3', I get the error listed above. I don't understand why, it worked fine not too long ago. Also, if I manually create a page setup with the same 'dwg to pdf.pc3' it works fine...

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been getting fatal errors during my user account but not in my admin account. I logged in as admin and repaired Autocad Architecture 2010, using the system disk. I got back the report that Autocad was repaired. However, when I returned to my user account, I get an unhandled expection error when I start up Autocad.Architecture 2010. Do I need to uninstall Autocad Architecture 2010 and then reinstall or should I just pick the option to reinstall Autocad Architecture and then do I have to another registration code?

FATAL ERROR: Duplicated Service Name: SERVICE_VBA
We think taht this is happening after oening a session of AutoDesk Impression and then closing the Impression session and starting AutoCAD. We have corrected this by deleting the username directory under the C:documents & Settings directory.
When using AutoCAD Architecture 2014, I get this error intermittently when launching AutoCAD Architecture 2014. I have submitted numerous error reports, and have done research into getting this error taken care of, but nothing that I have tried has worked.

When I trie to open the file it gives the next error:
C 000000 dh exception at 78144 ba1h
I searched the internet but all the problems are with a plotter or a printer but I have the problem when I want to open the file.
The other odd fact is when I trie to open it with a new computer it opens perfectly and someone with the same old computer opened it also and there it worked fine too.
I started rendering using 360 cloud a few weeks ago. I've done lots of renders, all working fine until a few days ago.Now when i submit a render to the cloud in Revit 2014, it takes forever to process and then says either"could not complete your request, failed to authenticate" or something similar but with "could not upload file" as well.
I have tried logging out and clearing my browser cache etc but it still wont work.
I m receiving the following error on all projects whether they be existing or newly created. I am getting this error on Revit 2013 and Revit 2014. To reproduce all I have to do is try to delete ANY object in the model. "No circuit errors found".

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have one work station when you insert the greek symbol mew it comes up as M. I tried a few other greek symbols they same to work correctly. I have tried running a repiar, no change. Opening a drawing which has mew in it already makes it display as M
I have tired to insereting it in diffrent fonts same outcome. I can inseret it onther programs like word, thinking it might be some sort of windows or operating system setting.
copying and pasting mew from word to cad works on all other work stations but this one. We are using Civil3d 2013 on windows 7 machines.
What it might be or a work arounds short of making a block for the symbol from lines.

This is a 2011 Revit Architecture model but also crashes 2012.
My AutoCad 2013 is a bit unstable and crashes fairly often. Autodesk is telling me to install the 64 bit service pack. When I try to run it, I get an error code 1324 (illegal character in My Documents) and error code 1603.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm experiencing frequent freezes on PS (CS6, 13.0 x64) when first using it each day. Rest of the time it seems to run very quick and beautifully. But most days I'm finding in the first five or ten minutes of using it, PS just stops. It then takes perhaps five minutes to do anything and if I have used the history brush or resized or anything while it was still fuctioning ok, then there is a frantic catch-up by PShop while it runs through all those unseen movements in one go.
Oddly, it won't allow any selections or painting or anything but it does seem to allow you to still look at pull-down menus (even though they don't respond if selected). So, an unusual type of freeze, not a total lock-out, just rendering it useless. Quitting (when it allows me to) seems to revive it and then I seem to be able to work ok.
Am on a new iMac with 3 TB Fusion drive - just wondering (worried) it is something to do with that perhaps? All my other CS apps working ok (I use Indesign constantly).
I ran RECOVER on a drawing and it told me that three errors were fixed. Is there any way for me to know what the three errors were?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a user with AutoCAD 2013 installed on his work laptop. It is a Dell with Windows 7 64-bit. We don't have local IT any more and he was having problems with the computer, which is only 6 months old, so he had to send it from Michigan to Massachusettes, where our Global IT resides.
They "Imaged" the hard drive, installed a new hard drive and put the "Image" on the new hard drive. and sent it back without making sure things worked.
Now when he starts AutoCAD 2013 (vanillia), the Splash screen comes up and then he gets a Fatal Error. I have attached a capture of the error.
When he first got it back there were no drivers installed for his nVidia Quadro 1000M card, so he could not use his 2nd monitor. He found the driver and installed it and now he can use the 2nd monitor, but still had the problem with AutoCAD.
I installed AutoCAD 2013 successfully, but when I open the program for the first time, it displays the following message and aborts the program:
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffffff Exception at e9690004h.
What can I do to resolve this problem?
