Premiere was running fine for most of the weekend, then began to crash every time I tried to open the project. Other projects open briefly, followed by a crash within 5 minutes.
i´m having a problem opening a premiere pro cs6 project from another computer. My partner can open the project in her computer, but when she sends me the project by mail and i try to open it in my computer i I get t the mesasage " Cannot load project". I´ve tried importing the project into another project but it doesn´t work.
After applying a simple Primary grade in Direct linked SG project, saving and sending back to PPro causes PPro to crash and render the following error:
Then I get a "serious error" dialog and it shuts down.
Re opening the PPro project causes crash after the splash screen.
Opening any other PPro project, direct linking to SG, grading, and returning it to PPro causes this behavior.
This first happened after adding a mask. All transport controls froze, although I could still grade the frame I was stuck on. I saved and sent it back to PPro, and that was the first time PPro crashed. That project is now corrupted and crashes after the splash screen.
Now any direct link to SG causes a crash on return to PPro, and permanently corrupts the project.
I just downloaded premiere elements 12, and tried to open new project, but nothing happened.. What i need to do? But i can open organizer without any problem!
When I open my project the media associated with the project shows that it is loading in the lower left hand corner of the program. It gets to about 123 files left to load and then it stops. I then have to attempt to locate all the rest of files with the Link Media tool this works for a few files and then it stops responding. What is the problem and how do I keep my project linked to its media assets?
AE dynamic linked assets AVCHD video shot on C100 I have cleared the media cache
Media is stored on a 8TB Raid 10 NAS connected with a Gigabit router. The NAS is on my desk connected directly to my computer through the router.
I want to take a sequence that I had in an old project and put it into a current project, but I dont want it to be one rendered file... i still want too see the fades and make changes to it...
So when loading Adobe CS4 it quits after about 10 seconds for no apparent reason. The error is "An unexpected and unrecoverable has occurred because the point you clicked on is not inside the vector mask of a visible layer. Photoshop will now exit".why this is happening, was fine until today..Here is the Crash Report log:
I was working on setup up several camera animations in a file. I saved the file, and put the settings in for all 4 cameras to render. I started Batch Render running, it saved, began rendering the first frame and then Maya crashed. It was able to save a .mb version as it was closing. I have since been unable to get either file to open correctly.
If I try to directly open the files, they load 100%, the status bar immediately switches to "Writing <username>.20110503.<time>.ma" and the Crash Reporter appears before the viewport can even update and show the model.
If I try importing either file into a new document, it will load completely, and a dialog window pops up with: Could not save file"/var/folders/FL/FLo7J2o4H4OV9SDiREDU4U+++TI/-Tmp-/thompirson.20110503.1216.ma".
If you click OK, Maya crashes without the Crash Reporter opening.
I recently lost 11 days on a documentary project due to Premiere's crashes, instability and refusing to launch (including almost 6 hours of Adobe tech support in India remote controlling my iMac, trying in vain to fix the issues).
I decided to give Premiere another try today, thinking Premiere's problems might have been related to the Canon XF300 used on the documentary project. Would I have better luck with different media?
I planned a very simple project: different camera (8 clips shot on Panasonic GH3, in the 72 Mbit All-I MOV mode), different media (2 AIFF audio files).
I made a fresh project, and imported the GH3 clips from the media browser. When I tried to import the 2 AIFF files, Premiere crashed.
Now I can’t even get Premiere to launch, despite rebooting and trashing every cache and Adobe preference I can find (user application support, user preferences, and ~/documents/Adobe). This happens with or without plugins in the Mediacore folder (I use all of Red Giant's plugins and quite a few of FXFactory's).
Are there any other secrets to get Premiere to launch? Now that I am locked into the CC subscription, I would like to at least have a program that can launch.
I hate to be negative, but my experience with Premiere has been absolutely horrible (and costly). And every other Mac-based editor I know who has tried Premiere CC is reporting the same instability. Especially for us television editors, stability is FAR more important than new features.
When rendering footage in the latest version of premier pro on MAC OS X 10.9.2 no matter what sequence or timeline I am in, premier keeps crashing every time I try and do anything. I have plenty of memory on a brand new MAC computer but it continues to just crash.
I'm seeing Premiere Pro CC (7.2.1) constantly crash with a few projects when I try to export. The common thread (as I can see) are that they were all started in earlier versions of Premiere.
I'll finish editing, then hit Ctrl-M (or Export -> Media), and Premiere sits idle for a moment, then it crashes. Importing the project sequence in AME allows for encode though.
Checking the event viewer in Windows turns up that the ntdll.dll might have something to do with it.
I have Adobe Premier Pro CC on a laptop windows 8.1.
I can open the software without problem but when i want to create a new projet, open a projet, import media (all actions which needed to use the window's browser) the soft crash and a "adobe premiere pro has stopped working" pop up appears.
I have the follow report in "C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsWERReportArchiveAppCrash_Adobe PremiereP_c3d8aff034e6134d452e86f0b46eb49124ae68d4_bdc6adc1_9321fcde Report.wer" is attached
I read the FAQ on files not importing but am afraid I am having a weird problem.I converted my canon's .mov files to several types :avi, mpeg, and mp4, but they still cause PP to crash every time I try to drag the imported file into the source panel.
I am running HP on Intel Core i7 2630 QM CPU with 6 gig RAM and 64 bit Windows 7.
Deets on the AVI file that caused the crash: data rate 20000kbps fps 29 1920x1080 lenth 56 seconds file size 97.7 mb
I have had premiere fail to open for a while now on one of my secondary PC's. This computer was setup with a network drive as its disk cache/links to projects. This is so multiple editors can work off the same RAID. Works perfectly, aside from the fact that windows somehow unlinked the network drive. Once this happened premiere fails to launch and crashes when starting the program.
I had got the network drive linked back up at one point and premiere launched again running with zero problems. Again windows messed up the network drive, and premiere again, does not work.
I need to reset the settings for premiere (the disk cache settings).
THINGS I'VE ALREADY TRIED: I already tried holding Ctrl + Shift to reset, did not work. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the settings were not removed and program keeps crashing.
I would just relink the network drive and then once premiere launches change the disk cache and never do that again, but sadly the computer will not relink to that partical drive.
I'm running windows 8, latest version of CC (just updated). I have 32gig Ram, I7 processor overclocked to 4.4GHz, Nvidia Graphics.
I recently had to upgrade from cs5 to cs5.5 and now all my old dv captures that were saved as mpeg from priemere cs5 wont load and says "file import failure' This happens with anything that I saved through cs5 as an mpeg such as all my finished and exported video files.
how to load .NET project dll file in AutoCAD LT for customization ? Because in plain AutoCAD command is there named NETLOAD to load DLL file but this command is not working in AutoCAD LT.
I have tried exporting in various ways, it will burn to a dvd, but one way wouldn't play sound, another only play on my MAC, another played through media player but not on a dvd player. I looked it up and it says something about Encore. Is that something I have already? If so, how do I access it?
I've made a project in Premiere Pro CS6 with greenscreen footage from a canon XF100 (MXF file).
When I open the project in Premiere Pro CC I can scrub throught the timeline everything is oke.
But playing or rendering the timeline, gives me only the bottom half of the greescreen footage. I see that in Premiere CC the clip with the footage becomes gray after putting an effect on it. When I do this process from the start in CC it works fine. But there are 52 timelines in the project made in CS6.
I tried to export my project. I don't know where it was exported to. I did not see where I could choose the destination. I ultimately want to save it on my google drive.
I have a sequence that has some video that I wanted to edit in After Effects. I right-clicked on the video in the sequence and selected "Replace with After Effects composition" and did my editing. It shows up in the sequence as Linked Comp 5 but Premiere will not or cannot load the media. Why is this and how can I fix it? I have already closed the program and rebooted to no effect.
I am on the final stages of finishing my first ever HD project, having made the jump Premiere Pro 2.0 to Premiere CS5. Mid-way thru I found it necessary to upgrade to Creative Cloud, so that is where I am working now. The HD world is so vastly different from the old SD flow that every single step of this project has been a huge learning curve for me. I am basically an 'oldie' but for all practical purposes I am a total 'newbie' at this. That said, I am now finding myself ready to export my project to DVD in a SD form with Stereo sound.
I am working with footage shot on the Red Epic. At my current stage I am working withh ProRes 444 renders from which I have created a full nested 74 minute timeline. Frame rate is 23.976 and the source is1920x1080 with 1.0 square pixels.
So now my movie is done, and it looks and sounds like I want it to. The question now, in a nutshell, is what file type and settings should I use to export my movie so that I can retain aspect ratio? Should I output a movie first or take the project into another program like encore first and make my disc from there?
Also, I have my first screening coming up (primarily for cast and crew and industry insiders) in a couple of weeks, so I need to create a 1080 HD File with my 5.1 surround track that I project from a laptop. The screening venue has the capability to do that via a simple HDMI cable hookup, but does the laptop I use need to have any special capabilities to do the job? And what is the best file type to use for that?
I have always been more of an artist than a tech head, but I am pretty much doing the whole post on this movie alone, with the exception of the Dissolve renders and the sound design, which I had done for me (I have a great finished 5.1 design in .wav format, as well as a stereo version).
I should also mention that I currently have Encore CS5. Can I work with this on a Premiere CC project?
The project weight is almost 2 GB.Is taking hours open my project file. I have to send a edit by tomorrow but right now I don't know if I will be able to open my project to start editing.
I have read in your forums this is a common bug but nobody say how can be solved, I already lost all day waiting and I can't be waiting all night to start the editing at early morning, this is totally insane. I'm editing in a Macbook Pro Retina with 16 GB of RAM.
I edited a lot in this computer with this software version ( CS6 ) and never got this problem.
In this project are sequences with Magic Bullet effects and Warp Stabilizer but this can't be an excuse, must be a solution for this because I already lost 8 hours looking to my screen.
I'm running Adobe Premiere Pro CC on a 2011 Macbook Pro, and I was working on a project. When I went to render the whole sequence, Premiere froze and auto quit. When I went to open the project again, I got the error:
"This Project contained a sequence that could not be opened. No sequence preview preset file or codec could be associated with this sequence type."
Every version of the project's auto-save files gave the same error. I tried all of the suggested tips like deactivation and clean uninstall, but nothing's changed.
Just finished editing a project and want to send it to someone without all the excess. I understand you go to the Project menu and select Project Manager. Only problem is I don't have a Project menu.
There is no Project Panel when I capture clips to Premiere Pro CC. There is only a Media Browser so how do I create a Project Panel if there is not one already?
