i've checked my monitor screen-up...everything is set to "standard". adjust Ps-CS6 image...it looks swell. print the bad-boy on my Epson NX430...and the image looks dark. or like mud. or too bright.
how can i get the printer, monitor, and Ps-CS6 to be on the same page, colorwise?
I'm having trouble getting both of my printers to print out to the same tone/colour that is displayed on my Monitor. Neither are accurate
Is there anything I can do with my monitor settings, or my photoshop/illustrator colour settings so that what I see on the screen is what will be printed out.
The printers are :
1) Hewlett Packard 1220C
2)Epson Stylus 2100
They both print out differently.
For the HP printer I've looked at the 'Image Colour Management' and it states the 'ICM is handled by host'
For the Epson printer the Colour Management is set to 'Automatic: Windows will automatically select the best colour profile from the list of associated color profiles'
I know it's possible to change the Color Setting in Photoshop but I don't really know what to set it to, and who to set it so it's as close to my monitor display as possible. (I work with RGB colour)
When a piece is going to be printed in a magazine or even output to a desktop printer I have found that the color on the monitor (yes it is calibrated) bears very little relation to the printed product. Just curious as to what you guys do to compensate. Do you work brighter and more colorfully on the screen knowing that things are going to darker up in the translation?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have read through discussions on this but am still doing something wrong apparently.I have a Lenovo Ideacenter all in 1 (520), and an Epson R3000.My monitor is calibrated with ColorMunki. I shoot in Adobe RGB and use that color space in Photoshop CS6.
After edits, I softproof by choosing custom, and then select the profile of the epson glossy paper that I use.I choose photoshop manages colors and make sure printer color adjustments are off. My prints look nothing like the monitor. Very dull and washed out. I feel like I'm doing the right things but what could I be missing?
I have printed off the colour swatch within Versaworks, but when I use the colours (which have been imported from versaworks) in corel they do not print out the same colour. The media is the same. I have tried deleting the colours and readding them in but this does not seem to make any difference.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy color settings are synchronized across all CS applications. I'm trying to see document both as a soft proof and not. Neither mode improves the color differences I'm seeing on screen. Photoshop displays color TOTALLY differently from all other CS applications: Bridge, InDesign, Illustrator & Acrobat.
In the image below, Indesign is on the left. Photoshop is on the right. Image appears in Bridge, Acrobat and Illustrator just like InDesign.
I'm trying to cut out a selection using Quick Select (all refine edge settings off) and then paste into a new layer. However, I can't get a 100% pixel perfect alignment once I paste. Cut/Paste using the rectangle select does match 100%. The quick select tool should allow for 100% pixel perfect alignment, correct?

I made a simple panel in photoshop and used the #number for the color selected to fill one side of the panel in my CSS code. When the page is rendered there's a very slight difference between the panel and the background which I expect to be exactly the same.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I import a particuar video clip into premier, there is a problem with the audio. It plays absolutely fine until 9 minutes through when all of a sudden the audio loops back to the beginning. The video carrys on as normal untill the end of the clip but the audio starts from scratch. I have tried removing the video, renaming, moving location, starting a new project, but no matter when or how I play the video the audio starts again 9 mins through! The video plays fine in any media player except premier. I have tried exporting the video but unfortunately the audio error also gets exported. The clip is crucial to a video I'm making and can't be re-shot!

The text height setting in the mleader style dialog is 3/32" and grayed out.
Why create an option and then block us from using it?

I am using Inventor Professional 2013 what im trying to do is create a flat pattern so I can send out to get formed. I need the panel to be 7.75" Width 53.50" Height and 2" Depth. When I click unfold where the 45deg is, it doesnt match up with the bend. Im not sure if its supose to be like that or what lines i need to keep to get the correct mesurments.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to plan an access road which must run at least 2.5m away from an existing fenceline. I've put a few parallel road lines in at 3m distance, but at the fence bends I decided to put some circles at the bend points to give me a 3m radius. When I did this I was suprised to find that the circle extends further than my access road. I've dimensioned them both up, CAD is telling me they're both 3m away but they're clearly not at the same distance.
View 9 Replies View RelatedIt's my first time using SSA, and I had finally created a network and storm that I thought was working properly (using TR-20 routing with an SCS II storm), until I took a closer look at the profile outputs - and noticed that the graphed Max HGL line does not match the Max HGL listed in the table below. The difference was 856.2 on the graph and 858.01 on the table at one my structures, for example.
The ability to import pipe networks is nice in SSA, but if the output data is always this wacky I may have to go give up on SSA and go back to using Hydrocad.
I've been rendering lossless files in after effects for a year now without any problems. Now all of a sudden when I render .mov files, the playback is frayed and jumpy... audio doesn't match, etc. I've tried rendering lower then upper fields and vise versa, and both at once. nothing works.

For example, He has a car assembly file with 4 wheels and alot more subassemblies, then he creates a view representation which only visible for 1 wheel.
When he generates the part list in Inventor 2D drawing, he go to part list >filter setting and set to ‘’Assembly view representation’’ but the quantity for the part list is still showing as 4 as per attachment.
change the value manually inside the part list table?
I have a sheet that has several alignments data referenced and labels applied. Recently some of the alignments changed (slightly extended), I checked the sheet and all of the labels have auto updated. Everything looks good. A Print Preview looks good.
When create the print (to pdf), the alignments that changed and all the labels do not show up. Nothing changed with layers, styles, etc. I tried Synchronize and Refresh from Prospector. I can create another Data Ref but don't want to go thru all the labeling again.

Trying to create a dynamic block that will multiply the number of neutral and ground blocks as it's stretched.
My power terminal strips can contain 1 to unknown number of circuit breakers, and each circuit breaker requires a neutral and a ground block.
All the similar items in a stip are grouped together, all the circuit breakers, then the neutrals than the grounds.
So depending on how many circuit breakers I have I'll need the same number of neutrals and grounds, but grouped together.
In the attached block I added the stretch action to move the end cover and end stop of the strip down, but don't know how array/space/stretch the neutrals and grounds so they're grouped together.
The ciruict breakers aren't shown as they can be from different manufacturers and therefore different widths.
Tried attaching my block file but get this error message:
"The contents of the attachment doesn't match its file type."

I have a corridor with an associated sample line group, and I have produced some material volume tables to give me quantities for my corridor structures and cut/fill volumes. When I look at the material volume tables they are at a seemingly arbitrary stationing. The sample line group which the material volume tables are (supposedly) based on are on alignment L1000 and they run from station 1133+73 to station 1154+00 every 10 meters. The material volume tables show volumes broken down by stations starting at station 3719+58.66 and runs through to station 3786+08.92. It is sampling at a seemingly arbitrary frequency, there is absolutely no alignment in my drawing that has stations remotely resembling those numbers, and there is definitely no sample line group it could be using that samples an alignment or stationing anything like that shown in the materials volume tables. My boss is using CorelDraw x5 on a Dell Studio lappy w/ win7 x64, his question is... If you accidentally stretch text and don't realize it till later is it given a value that can be compared to other text so you can conform it to the rest of the text? Is this a tool or what? The scenario is you accidentally stretch text minutely, save the file, copy and paste this text to another file with same format to realize later it has been manipulated and doesn't match.

Now the aligned side of the Rectangle must be tangent to the ellipse BUT it's not! To verify, try to search an intersection point. Draw a Guideline and snap it to the rectangle's aligned side. It must be intersection point between Guideline and Ellipse but there isn't...

The obvious and calculated rotation angle would be 23d27'34" but when I rotate the line by the calculated angle it doesn't rotate to the right angle. It's off by 0d11'10"!? When I draw a line by bearing at N12d52'18" E and inquiry the angle between the property line and the drawn line the angle difference is in fact 23d27'34".
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe problem seems to happen ins CS5 and CS6 as well. We have a complex piece of artwork for a foil blister and we use a paragraph of text that has 3 transforms applied to which effectively step and repeat the paragraph of text in a repeat pattern across the artwork. This setup very precisely as it needs to be 100% accurate for print purposes as several units are printed side by side and the repeat runs across the units. Everything is setup correctly in Illustrator and then we re-save as a PDF with 'Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities' on.
We genearally save as a PDF 1.6 but we have tried all the combinations now. The file still looks perfect in Illustrator but when the PDF is opened in Acrobat (any version) the step and repeat (transform) on the paragraph of text is now no longer in alignment on onside of the artwork but still OK on one side. No matter what we do we can't fix this problem andit's recreatable each time. Also it's not file specific as we can build a new file and it will also exhibit the problem. We're only talking about a tiny jump here - <0.2mm but this means the artwork is out of spec.
What is the best way to get consistent color from one monitor to another. Is that even possible?
