Using Photoshop CC, what the asterisk means inside the tab name? This is on the inside of the bracket, outside it would mean not saved. I'm using 16 bit files throughout and the ProPhoto RGB Workspace. Files are transferred in and out of Lightroom 5.2 as my front-end .
e.g. Nikon D700-4162-ME.tif @ 21.9% (RGB/16*)
I've recently had to re-install my OS and re-install Master Collection...
However, the little Asterisk that shows up in the comp title bar that indicates your comp has unsaved changes is not showing up for whatever reason,I've search the web and can't seem to find any info on why it's not showing up I've had to re-install various times before and never had this problem before.. .and the Asterisk shows up in Pr and AE like it should

People from the support in the forum advised me not to download the files through 3G.Today I downloaded CS6 by means a fast ADSL connection , employing the Adobe Download Assistant.the downloaded finished I ran the installation, which ran normally .
Then as I attempted to start CS6 it crashed.I ask you whether there is any trouble with the setup available to download?
So I have this script I used to run in AutoCAD 2011 which involved mirroring a group of many layers and then moving the "last" object created. In 2011, when I moved "last", it considered everything I mirrored to be "last." In 2012, it is taking strinctly the last object I created, not the group of layers that I mirrored, to be "last." Is there an internal variable I can change so that "last" can mean everything I just mirrored again?
View 3 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I upgraded from LR 4.0 to 4.1. Ever since that moment, when I try to launch it, Lightroom displays a progress bar with message: "Checking Catalog Point Curves". The progress bar advances to about 10% and then stops. I waited for about 20 minutes and it did not move at all. I had to force-quit. I tried that for a couple of times - same results.
Why did Adobe decide to start a new mode of UPDATING the old version instead of REPLACING the old version with the new one, like it used to be? As it was before, I could simply get back to using the older version. Now, there is no going back!

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy Vista system has developed a few bugs which are not cured by Norton 360.Dragging a window causes it to maximize in a few programs PASTE does not work in some programs -- including X4..The CROP tool stopped working in X4 but is OK in X5 High-lighting is erratic in WORD etc.
I can only run a "clean" install from my OEM disk which means reloading all applications. I was wondering if I should give up and install Windows 7.
What has been your experience with Windows 7/ Did you do a "clean" install or just the update.
I really enjoy this new draw inside feature in Illustrator. But, I find that it does not always work. It seems to be grayed out sometimes. For example, I have drawn a shape with my Wacom tablet using a blush. I then converted it to a shape instead of keeping it a stroke by expanding it. But it will not allow me to now draw inside of it, even though it is a shape.

I have used the normal modifier to flip the normals and so have the skin on the inside. Something is going very wrong at this point because I have this ugly shadow line that I cannot get rid of and I also seem to not be able to light this interior, when I use an omni light it makes no difference. View 7 Replies View RelatedI have this strange situation.. i use the Arial font inside my cad drawings and when i print my paperspace layout, the text inside the viewport is a little bit more "bold" then the text i put directly on paper space.
Maybe it's a trick to know what text is placed where, but i want all this to be uniform, same thickness. Is there a system variable to correct that issue?

Up to COUPE C1 is the text inside the viewport, under COUPE C1is the paperspace text. Both are the same height... but difference tickness.

Basically, I have a word document that I want to watermark on each page. Then I want to convert this into a PDF (I use PrimoPDF for conversion)
However, getting the graphical watermark from word to PDF is still eluding me. For example, when I convert to PDF, the background images I place in are gone.
should there be an adobe Photoshop cs5 folder when i've only installed cs6 master collection? clean installation, no previous installs. when i try to launch the Photoshop.exe in the cs5 folder, i receive an error. I'm assuming this is part of a normal master collection cs6 installation?
if not, is it safe to remove the folder, as there is no uninstallation entry available for Photoshop cs5.
