CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 :: Can't Draw Some Of Greek Symbols
Jul 30, 2013i'm using corel draw x4 on windows 8. I use the Math-Type Editor in order to create complex formulas with indices, potencies, greek letters and fraction bars.
Unfortunately Corel Draw can't depict some of the symbols for example the small theta "Ï‘" or the multiplication sign. Instead of writing them it creates a blank or question marks.
Is there a way to create those symbols in the Math-Type Editor?
Photoshop :: Greek Text Not Displaying Properly...
Nov 17, 2008I am using Adobe Photoshop CS3. I have a spreadsheet of Greek translations. When I copy and paste the text into Photoshop, certain characters are missed out or replaced with an incorrect one. I have tried downloading fonts that support the Greek character set, but still no luck. If I paste this text into any other applications (Word, explorer etc) the text displays properly. I was wandering if there is a setting or anything in photoshop that I need to change?

Jan 28, 2013while trying to type a text in Greek language on a photo. I have to tell you that i have done in the past many times this job (type Greek letters on a photo for watermarks etc) with the same program and the same computer until two days ago!
I checked the input method, i resetted the values inside the options from gimp preferences , i uninstalled the program twice and reinstalled it, i removed all the app Data for the specific software but still doesn't work. When i try to type Greek letters , i get strange symbols that i cannot paste here! It pastes normally the characters that i wrote on. I use gimp 2.8.3 and my OS is Mac OS Lion 10.7.4

today I inadvertently ran it and noticed that its splash (About) screen,
tabs and options are in Greek, while tools bar, drop down menus are in

Nov 20, 2003if you look under character map, you can find, after arial, a whole list of fonts such as Arial Baltic, Arial Greek, Arial Cyr, etc. Do you know how to use these fonts in photoshop?
In the character palette there's a dropdown menu for English: USA, English: UK, French, German, etc. that isn't doing anything though

Sep 23, 2013Whenever I use the text tool the cursor and symbols and so on are always on the left and when I try and use a symbol they are put at the start of whatever I type.
- Reset Text tool.
- Make sure type preference is on default.

Apr 18, 2013I have one work station when you insert the greek symbol mew it comes up as M. I tried a few other greek symbols they same to work correctly. I have tried running a repiar, no change. Opening a drawing which has mew in it already makes it display as M
I have tired to insereting it  in diffrent fonts same outcome. I can inseret it onther programs like word, thinking it might be some sort of windows or operating system setting.
copying and pasting mew from word to cad works on all other work stations but this one. We are using Civil3d 2013 on windows 7 machines.
What it might be or a work arounds short of making a block for the symbol from lines.

AutoCad :: Text In Toolbar Appears As Square Symbols?
Oct 18, 2011I've copied and pasted sections from old drawings into new ones, and it seems to have completely messed up some fundamental aspects of my AutoCad.
After I pasted I received some error message which I didn't understand. I think it said something about a "Language" problem, (Needless to say I clicked the nice big "OK" button without any thought). Now, every time I open CAD there are these square symbols where there should be text
I am running CAD from my company computer, so can't use the add/remove programmes repair trick. How I can reset all/relevant settings within CAD to get things back to normal?
I'm running the 2010 model.

May 18, 2012I frequently require mathematical symbols such as ≤ or ≥, which are easy enough to insert as unicode characters and supported by common fonts such as Arial.
However, when I try to import text containing such characters, such as within an Excel table, they just import as "?" instead. I've tried pasting Excel table in various formats. As an Excel object or a Metafile the overall formatting is retained correctly but the symbols become question marks. Enhanced Metafile preserves the symbols but alters the fonts so that the text no longer fits within the cell, ruining the layout.
I've also noticed that when I manually insert unicode symbols using the text tool in CorelDraw X6 it changes the font to Adobe Fangsong Std R (which looks awful). If I try to change the font after the fact, everything changes except the symbols. Highlighting the symbols also looks different: rounded highlight rectangle versus normal rectangle for ordinary text. It seems CorelDraw refuses to treat these symbols as ordinary unicode text forcing them instead into this horrible wirey font instead.
I also have issues try to export from CorelDraw to say Powerpoint where Corel will automatically format some text as ligatures but when exporting these just show up as "?" in Powerpoint.
1) Is there any way to get CorelDraw X6 to reliably import and export text, including unicode symbols, without messing up the formatting/layout.
2) is there any way to get CorelDraw not to change the font of symbols?
AutoCAD Inventor :: Change Drawing Dimension Text And Symbols Font With ILogic
Nov 2, 2012I was looking to change the fonts in a drawing for the Dimensions and Symbols that might have been inserted in the Dimension text entries.
This can be done manually bu editing the dimentions text after placemement, but I was ooking to set this as a default.. I cannot see where exactly this is controlled in the Styles Manager - I am only able to change the Dimension text font but the diameter symbol font is always on AIGDT.
I was therefore looking for an iLogicvb code that could do the trick, but I am not able to even change the dimension fonts... The code runs with no errors but nothing gets updated in the drawing...

Photoshop :: CS6 Won't Let Type Numbers And Symbols Normally
Nov 20, 2012every time I try to type a number or symbol, the blinking line suddenly switches over to the left side of whatever I'm type, and it's like everything is in reverse. I can't type numbers on symbols with the text tool normally at all.I literally just installed it and this problem appeared.also, unless, I make the switch, the blinking line will stay on the left side of the text no matter what. this is really weird. everything I type is in reverse.
