View 7 Replies View RelatedI am trying to delete an object background to create a gif of an object (the object in this case is a broken cell phone). Everything appears to be gone BUT...there are these flowing blue items around the object. When I export the file to gif...those items are still attached to the object.
I have used photo shop and have not had any issue removing a background around an object.
I m receiving the following error on all projects whether they be existing or newly created. I am getting this error on Revit 2013 and Revit 2014. To reproduce all I have to do is try to delete ANY object in the model. "No circuit errors found".

When I click on the 3D rotation tool the red horizontal / green vertical tool does not appear.

Is this a setting ? Where am I going wrong ?
I am trying to change this to win50k from Zip-P..I need to move the lightning bolt over..layer # 18..but I cannot grab and move the object with the hand tool..The help does not offer a simple answer to a very basic operation. Just want to move the lighting bolt to the right a bit..yes I think something this simple should be idot proof - and work like powerpoint...or the tool is too complex in my book...
View 5 Replies View Relatedto fill with the paint bucket ... or make sure i have a fill color selected. I have already tried that. Everytime i make an object, and close it off, it doesnt fill. And if i try to fill the object, it fills everything. And yes, i double check to make sure i am closing the object. After i get done drawing the shape, i can right-click with the pen tool and open the "Fill Path..." option, and tell it to fill it, and it will. But i want it to fill in when i am done drawing each shape. Is there anything that i can do to make this happen.
View 2 Replies View RelatedLast autumn I took a photo of a rotten apple on some grass, with a tiny flower beside it. I used the regular lasso tool to cut and layer the apple, and then the flower (giving 3 layers). Upon closer reinspection, though, my lasso cut is a little jagged. So, I'm here asking what you guys do to cut out objects!
I am a fan of the magnetic lasso tool, but find that it can often leave very jagged edges when the object isn't clear cut. So, I thought I would be best to resort to the regular lasso tool, just with the photo zoomed in a lot and going little by little. That would be fine, except that I often click too fast from one point to the next, and Photoshop thinks I'm finished and stops the lasso there. That is soo frustrating! Is there any way to go back and edit after Photoshop has 'closed' the lasso selection?
Another thing I sometimes use is the magic wand tool, but as my background is grass, there's no way that I can get it to do what I want. Any suggestions?
When I draw an object with the rectangle tool then I can manipulate it afterwards with the pen tool (add anchor point). But when I merge 2 objects with "merge linked" the object seems to be rasterized and I can't manipulate it with the pen tool anymore. How can I prevent merged objects to be rasterized or at least be able to manipulate merged objects with the pen tool.

View 1 Replies View Relatedthere's an invisible 10px border around each object/shape. it's so frustrating when i'm working on small icons or whatnot.i'll try and give an example the best i can... say i have two squares overlapping and are offset from each other by a 5px or so. if i want to select the back square, i'd normally... click on the part of the square i can see. in cs6, if i just click on the visible part of said square, it would select the front square. i have to click at least 10px out from the back square to select it.

I was able to remove the object using the Carver tool. However, I had to reduce theTif file to 8 bits. I'm not sure what the difference is. (The photo is for publication in a magazine.)
BTW, when I go to the Corel help page, the top of the page is cut off so I can't get to the search box.
I currently have a viewport - it is an a1 rectangle in size, lets call it VP1. I would like to create a smaller viewport inside of this, lets say VP2.
When I draw a circle, and use the tool 'Convert Object To Viewport' everything works great - but now VP2 has all of the objects from VP1 showing through the background too. How can I resolve this?
I have been looking for something in the properties, much like text, which will 'background mask' to the viewport - but I am struggling to find any thing.
I use the bezier tool A LOT to create objects... and I've noticed that when I'm going from a curved line in an object to a straight line to complete the last line of the curve, I'll often lose that last node (it'll just disappear).
What I end up needing to do is place a node between the last node and the first (completion node) to allow that straight line to work properly... then I just go back and delete the unneeded node after the object has been closed.
Is it me or is the viewport-orb tool changed? When I select an object (in perspective mode, not otho) - and press Z to zoom-extend the chosen object, I can rotate around it, but when performing a second "orb"-around, the "zoom-locked-extends" is gone and he orb-rotates around the SCENE and not the chosen object anymore?
what gives?... (same principle when in sub-object mode - 1st orb-rotate around the chosen object is good. When going out of orb-rotate and orbing around to the other side of the object or whatever, the "zoom-extends-region" is "scenafied" as in scene-a-fied bug or new feature? if new feature, how the hell to turn it off.
I mirrored a box using mirror tool, volume value of mirrored object is negative,-0,25 cum. However when I used mirror modifier it is positive.Screenshot image is attached.

View 1 Replies View Related1. When I use the rotate manipulator the rotated object scales up in the world Y axis warping the object when rotating. In a prior step I scaled the object in the Y axis. I scaled the object while the tool was set to local. However I've done many times before but never had this issue. I've deleted history, cleanup, etc but nothing works. The channel box shows all scales are at 1. To test the manipulator, I created a cube and rotated it but the cube didn't scale so it must be something with the object itself.
The pictures show the scaling in relation to the rotate tool. I zoomed to place the object exactly within the inner ring. You'll see it grows when rotated.
2. The rotate manipulator is grey or partially grey. The tool works so it's not a locked channel. Since both issues happened at the same time I'm thinking they are related.
3. I can't get the X/Y grid to show on the front view. The grid is enabled on the panel and in the preferences. The front view, shows the plane of the X/Z grid. The side view shows the Y/Z grid. The top view show the X/Z grid.
I am no longer able to change size of an object as the size rectangle doesn't surround it anymore when i highlight it.

See the figure below.
Is there any way to adjust the dimensions, when dragged, with regular distance from object?
See differences by red arrows. The intention is that dimensions keep a pre-set regular distance.

I am trying to create a tube by sweeping a circle along a spline. I read many of the previous discussion threads on the topic but I still have some issues.
I first created my spline and transformed it in a polyline (some people recommended to do it). Then I created the circle. Finally I sweep the circle along the path.
The issues are the following:
1) when I look at the tube using the 2D wireframe mode, I can see that the primitives are not completely regular. In some points there are weird intersections and I don't know how I can fix them.
2) I hoped the tube was solid. However, when I exported (as .IGS) it and see in another program, I realized that it has only two circular caps at the extremities of the tube, but inside it is hollow.
I tried to transform it in solid or mesh or whatever, but it always gives me an error, saying that the object cannot be converted.
When I click and drag with the direct selection tool, I'm getting a drag on the object rather than a marque for selecting points. As soon as I click, the tool switches to the black arrow tool. Did I mess up a setting somewhere? I'm not using any modifier keys.
