View 1 RepliesMight have been a great pic with the sunset in the background and some gold on the faces but that sun is just way to bright. I've tried several tricks but I am so unexperienced that every time when i'm trying to adjust it the whole image gets affected and looks screwed up. When the area is selected it becomes too visible that it was edited. how i can make that sun to shine softer and not to distract attention from the faces?
View 4 Replies View Relatedi'm currently working on a design that requires a 3D rending of a logo with light shining through the type. i tried using the lighting effects in the render filter but i doesn't give the effect that the client requests. i hope i'm not being too vague. its requested that the light be seeping through the type with the letter forms just outlined.
View 1 Replies View Relatedhi, i'm working on a project and the client would like to have a logo that has light that is shining through the letter forms. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how i could go by doing this. i tried using the lighting effects in the render but it still doesn't have the effect of light that is passing through the type.

I.e. I have a blueprint drawing (dark background with thin white lines) and I want to add an effect as if the white lines were slits that light was shining through.
I have two objects intersecting each other on different layers. The object on the top layer I reduced the opacity for and the bottom layer which was previously hidden now is shining through. I do not want this to happen. I want the bottom layer to remain hidden beneath the top layer despite the lowered opacity. How would I accompish this simply? I have CS2.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe following is a link to a tutorial creating a diamond effect on a word.
[URl]
At 4:35 into it, the author begins creating the shiny parts of the diamonds by drawing a path, copying it and then rotating the copy ninety degrees.
I'm having trouble just creating that first path the way it's done in the tutorial. First, it says to choose a brush of 17, make sure it's white, then switch to the pen tool and draw a straight white line. However, mine doesn't look like that, how it splays outs. I just get a straight white line. Then, when I try to tranform the copy by rotating it 90 degrees I get an error message saying "Could not rotate because the initial bounding rectangle is empty."
How the star like sparkles were added to this image. What in your opinion is the best way to approach this?(There is probably numerous ways to do this I imagine).

Has anyone out there had experience with creating a cross star filter effect using PS7? I realize that in an ideal world the effect would be created on the camera lens, but who lives in a perfect world? Photoshop allows us to turn our imperfections into perfections. I would like to create a 4 point and a 6 point cross star effect, but am clueless on were to start.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI was watching a tutorial about PSE 11 and then noticed that under my photo in the organizer I do not see the date, time, & star option. Do I have to turn something on to see them. Also I do not see a place under the photos to put a caption. I'm using a mac book pro.
View 5 Replies View RelatedUsing Elements 11, cannot get the Star Rating bar to appear under images imported from file, although the intro to the program shows this as happening automatically. I have also created an account, but the question does not seem to be get a post.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI currently use a different photo organizer and wish to migrate to PSE11, provided it meets this criteria. I have over 200K images that have already been tagged, and I need granularity in searching for items. I normally search in a cumulative fashion, where each criterion I add further reduces the number of images that meet all the criteria. Does PSE11 have a "meets ALL criteria" option, or rather, does it only display results that "meet ANY criteria" that I may have specified? In other words, the more criteria I add, the less images I should see that are filtered based on ALL the criteria.
