View 1 RepliesI am trying to figure out if i can take a picture and edit the border so that the picture is in the shape of a star or a circle? The reason i ask is my mom uses this software to make T-Shirts and she needs to know if there is a way to make the photos into different shapes as opposed to just the rectangle picture
View 5 Replies View RelatedI was working on it for simpler works, but Now i like to learn more things as a good photo editing tool. I want to make a star shaped, balloon shaped frame with a image of some persons. I have attached a sample image, with person's face blured, I have to keep persons photo in that star shaped frame, ballon shaped frames etc.

I tried hitting "U" to bring up the Shape toolbar, but I still can't figure out how to do something as simple as cut out a star shape from a rectangular photo.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to do some pixel art, and whenever I use a tool that isn't just the pencil tool, it makes its own weird shading along my selection. Like, if I make a diagonal line with black, fills in random gray above and below the line between the two points I click. Or if I make a non filled circle, it fills in shading around the edges. All this is with one pixel thickness How do I just make it the color I've picked from the color picker without any extra color interpolations along the way?

In movies, photos, etc., a person will have a star burst on their teeth e.g. to show that their teeth are clean, that they are attractive, etc.
How do you create something like this? I have PSP X4.
I have 100 shots of stars. How do you combine them altogether to make star trails in CS6?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have got a problem by modeling a roof. The first picture attached shows it right at the moment. I want to keep the star one can see in the center of the picture but the edges look at bit problematic because it consist of 3 former independent cubes. The edges are shown in the second picture.
My question is if it is possible to make the star consist of squares to model it a bit easier. I use maya 2012 education.
I'm trying to catch up with this tutorial: [URL]
But I've got two problems
Firstly: I am trying to draw this shape:[URL]
Now is there anyway to select all those edges and reshape all at the same time to get to that shape drawn in the article (The first photo I have posted) ?
Second problem:
I don't understand this: [URL]
What does the article mean by "Nodes Tool"? It's written there that I should draw a triangle using the polygon tool and then using Nodes tool > Make selected nodes symmetric I will get that shape in the photo above, But I cannot find neither the Nodes tool nor the symmetric nodes option I'm using Adobe Illustrator CC
I'm trying to create my own Star Wars comic, and of course, being the traditionalist that I am, I wanted to start it out with an opening crawl.
The problem here is that I need a way to 'tilt' the image of the block of text so that it resembles the opening crawls from the movies. I've tried a few ways, but I can't find anything that does what I want it to do. I thought about 'pinching' the top section, but the selection tool doesn't have this function and I can't find anything in the tools to create this effect.
Am I going to have to import the text into a modeling program, tilt it, and render it as a 3D object?
I want to make a vector shape from a path. Is there a way to bypass having to define a new custom shape? I just want to quickly add the vector shape to a new layer, but I don't need it defined as it'll just be used once.

That link is multiple images i have taken i want the ink to form the title of a book cover. By using the ink thats in the image not to put a already existing font over the top. How do i do this im not new to Photoshop but also not great. I have Photoshop CS6 and am on a Mac.
I was asked to make a couple fantasy maps that look hand-drawn. It would be really cool if I could make an isometric mountain brush that puts a different mountain down every time I click it, or a randomized series of mountains along the brush stroke if I need a range. I thought some of the special effect brushes did this, but it turns out they just randomize the rotation in CS6.
On a related note and seemingly more unlikely, is there a way to have a two colored brush that uses foreground and background? If above mentioned mountain brush consists of ink-like lines, it would be useful if the mountains came in already filled so that they cut out the lines of whatever mountain is behind it.
It is possible to make a custom shape eraser in Photoshop? If not, do you get any plugins for that? Currently I only use a circle for erasing pixels.

View 9 Replies View RelatedAll I want to do is put a couple of arrows in an illustration! I select custom shapes, then arrows, then I mouse-drag out the arrow, and, of course, they disappear when saved. So...now realizing that this is a path, I duplicate my first layer and place the arrows on the new layer. then I flatten. Still, arrows disappear.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAs you now can make EPS documents from photoshop and keep the vector shapes as vectors, it would be nice to be able to use old logos you have that are in eps or illustrator format and make shapes out of them so they also can be included in a Photoshop EPS.
But I can not see that there are any options to add eps ot illustrator files to the Shapes, and once a eps is opened in Photoshop it is rasterized.
how to convert eps files to Shapes?
I'm making a poster for a friend of mine, and he wants the earth to be heart shaped.
I have a picture of the earth, opened in photoshop. My question is, how do I make it heart shaped.
I tried creating another layer, and using the custom shape thing to create a heart, and then tried clone stamping the earth pic into the heart, but it didn't work. The error I got was;
"could not use clone stamp because content of layer is not directly editable"
Is there a way to make the earth into a heart shape?
