View 5 RepliesI am with CS5's enhanced brush engine - the great new media brushes...BUT, when using them, and a wacom intuos4 tablet, with the canvas rotated - where the cursor is when stroking is not where the pixels created by brushing go. Very frustrating. The greater the rotation of the canvas, the greater the offset is. It's hard to know where the pixels will appear when I put pen to tablet and stroke. Makes it impossible to accurate, well-controlled brushing.I'm forced to stop using the Rotate Canvas tool with media brushes and the Rotate Canvas tool is incredibly useful for freehand painting/drawing (I rotate my paper every which way while drawing on actual paper.)
View 2 Replies View RelatedIf I make the resolution of a photoshop document canvas 300 PPI (pixels per inch), will it still print out at the original dimensions I set the canvas to? I am asking because I tried a target canvas size of 594mm width by 841mm height on two separate photoshop documents, one at 300 PPI and the other at 72 PPI and it resulted in a huge size difference between the two documents targeted at the same image size. I want to know if they will print at 594mm x 841mm regardless of resolution.

How do I CG a traditional art piece on photoshop that i've made that has been inked and such while giving it depth and lighting without making it look unrealistic? I've tried to find this from sites and desided that maybe it would be better if i got a multi-help unit to help me get this through my thick skull here.
View 5 Replies View RelatedHow can I automatically add different pictures in a single canvas using Picture package? i.e. I have about 48 pictures and I want to place 4 different pictures to each [10 X 8 - "4(4X5)"] canvas so that I can send all 48 pictures for printing at a digital studio. When I try, multiple copies of single picture appear on each canvas. I tried 'contact sheet' but not satisfied with the result as I could not change the length and width of the pictures.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to emulate the idea that is on this image in a little project of mine. At first, I thought about drawing a rectangle in a layer, rotate it a bit, and put several images underneath it; I thought I would get the film reel effect that way. But it's happening that way, so far ...
I tried using Clipping Masks, but they also didn't work. And if transforming the rectangle in a Work Path would be a good approach, much less how to actually do it.
i love the ctrl+click in the curve dialog in photoshop cs6 is missing

How to create artwork that uses the styles of traditional art forms such as oil, watercolor, acrylic painting? Or even Crayon, pastel, charcoal, sketch drawings? As in recreating the how the brush strokes in sketching or oil painting or like crayons the texture. Mostly the recreating the overall styles of those traditional mediums?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince the AeccLandFeatureline object doesn't have an offset method, how is this done? All I can think of is to convert the F/L to a LWPolyline, offset the polyline, create a new F/L from the offset polyline, set the new F/L elevations using the SetElevationsFromOffsetSource() method, and finally raise/lower the new F/L using the RaiseFeatureline() method.

where when I try to export my video, I get a pop up window saying 'some media is offline, it will be rendered using the red media offline graphic'. in Premier pro all my media seems to be online, I have followed several different video tutorials on how to re-link media and the option to re-link media is greyed out for me as there is no media that is unlinked, so why does this message come up when trying to export? Playback in PP is fine, all media appears to be online.
Having viewed the exported video it seems that all the media which has been replaced by the red 'media offline' logo is all the .MTS files filmed on my Camcorder whereas all the GoPro footage is showing up correctly in the exported video.
I'm working on a flyer on a 8x11 canvas, but I want all of the elements I'm working to be transferred to a NTSC video film format. I understand how to a open a NTSC (Video Film Canvas), but I do not understand how to convert a canvas that I'm working to that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got CS5.1 at my job. This must be a preference, but when I adjust the Canvas size, it will constrain the image, rather than cropping the canvas. The Anchor in the Canvas Size menu appears outlined (highlighted?) which indicates that this is something in preferences that I can adjust.

How do I convert the colour profile of a Lightroom custom printing package from Adobe Prophoto to sRGB before printing? For that matter, how do I save the thing? I have no interest in saving the template, or the collection separately, since neither has any use without the other. And without saving them as one finished item, I have no way to convert the colour profile of that item. I can see clearly from the appearance of the print preview that the above mentioned colour profile conversion is required.

Happily painting away, when I switch to another program, be it Skype or anything else, and then come back to PS my CS5 Media Brush no longer has pressure sensitivity, etc - just like how a bruch behaves with using only the mouse.
The easy fix is to again switch out of PS, and then back, but you have to be careful not to have the pen on the tablet giving it input but rather wait until Photoshop is fully maximized again if minimized or the brush won't regain it's functionality. Do it right though, and it will regain tablet sensitivities.
I recently installed Creative Suite CS6 Design & Web Premium. I had previously installed the CS5 version and had not un-installed it. Everything except Acrobat appeared to install correctly. When I opened Photoshop CS6 (64-bit) I noticed that it used the CS5 version Bridge.
I went into Bridge and unchecked the open at start box, closed Bridge and Photoshop and re-opened Photoshop CS6 (64-bit). When I tried to lunch Bridge from Photoshop the following message appeared in the Desktop> panel : Waiting for Bridge CS6..." Bridge CS6 did not appear despite waiting for several minutes.
I then pressed the Start button and went into the Programs listing. Under the Adobe CS6 group I found all of the applications (other than Acrobat) but Bridge CS6 (64-bit), Bridge CS6, and Media Encoder each had generic icons rather than the expected relevant Adobe icons. I tried to load each of the three by clicking on the icon. In each instance the following message appeared:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you are running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program and then contact the software publisher.
My system is a Gateway FX6802. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium version 6.1.7601, Service Pack 1, Build 7601.The system has 9 GB of memory. I ran CS5 on the system and did not experience any difficulty with Bridge.
