I have created a logo however it is only 400x400 and I need it to be 2 feet by 2 feet. How do I make it so that I can enlarge the logo without having to completely recreate it?
I am very much a Noob at photoshop, this is officially the 2nd time I have used it. I have a small image, I want to rotate it 30 degrees counterclockwise. I also mant to put a small black border (10 pixels) around the outside of it. You can see the one I tried up in the banner on my developing site.
I am using an MAC OSX is Mountain Lion. I am have problems with the small folders and icons in Photoshop CS6. It their a way to make them larger permanently? They are very hard to see. Same goes for the text in PS CS6.
I want to build a mine-tunnel for a mine-cart game. So I thought of creating three tunnelframes for the motion. I attached those three different wall elements I've got:
decke 1, decke 2, decke 3
I tried a couple of times to align them, but the result is just not right. I can't get them in the same shape (frame1, frame2, frame3).
I can't really get three frames done so that it looks like you're moving forward in a mine-tunnel. Is my approach just wrong? how I could get three frames done in psd?
I make all of my DVD menus in photoshop. I have been asked to make a small sidways triangle next to my titles in photoshop. Is there a simple way to make a small sidways triangle that will be used as a button on a dvd menu?
I have CS5 and when I select a portion of a photo and add it to another photo and make the moved selection very small by "free transform" it loses almost all of the detail.
It seems difficult to make small on screen movements without the tool jumping. Would it be better use a low DPI mouse or a high DPI one? Wouldn't you get better control with a low DPI one?
I am trying to email a photo for a contest and my file is too large to email (it is fine as long as I don't have my watermark on it....when I place my watermark on it, it becomes too large.....and I need the watermark on it or it will be disqualified).
I really want to make a small honeycomb swatch pattern (the polygons should be small - 2 px x 2px) , but I just cannot get it to work. What I did is make one small polygon, and went to: Object>pattern>make and applied the following settings:
You will see that on the shoulder of the t-shirt, the pattern is kinda trasparent - the bottom layer is visible-I don't want it to be.The bottom pattern(on the side of the t-shirt) you will see came out fine, except that the polygons are too big and I cannot get it any smaller.
Just made this wallpaper, original size was 1440*900 Every avatar inside that pic are individual image file and I input them by Add layer > Import from a file, one by one = =''
Question is, how to make the job easier?
Like some plugin which allow you to select multiple image files and sorted it by some pattern...Does it exist?
I am trying to make the hands of a clock with a small red rounded rectangle near the top. But as I rotate the shape the lines are no longer straight. The hands of the clock are invisible but a bounding box for the small rounded rectangle. It won't stay straigh either. I have tried everything I can paths, etc.
I love LRs ability to create great watermarks. Only thing, they seem to come out (from DNGs) at about 3 mb apiece (quality setting at 79) - super large. So I clicked the box to limit file size, and I chose 300k (for web), and it says "could not create a jpeg that met your limit".
I'm using Photoshop CS6 to edit some video clips together, but it's super leggy. How do I make it so it's less leggy? Will putting my video files on an external harddrive work?
I'm using a MacBook Pro which is fast, but the video editor eats up my computer's speed like tiger.
In Lightroom 3.6 when I click on a thumbnail to enlarge it to "fit" the page it sometimes comes in very small (432x288) even though the pixels are set to 1440 in catalog settings, and I cannot seem to enlarge the image.
I have been learning about Textures and I've been playing around with different ones and so I have come across a great site with lots of Texture files for download ...
[URL]......
Well, the files are small eg: 38x38 and 76x76 and how to create a larger image with these small images. Also, they are in .png format... if that matters.
From what I've read a Texture is a Pattern ... right? So, I have searched the FAQ's, the Manual etc. for things like: How to make a large Pattern, How to use a small file for a large Pattern and so forth but I can't find the right info.
Am I suppose to use them to create a Repeating Pattern? Can I do this and have them be seamless?
I am trying to generate some graphics for my I-phone App. Most of the images can be SVG files which works out great but some of what I need has to be PNG format. So, I need a graphic that is about 50px square and has to be a PNG file.
I have attached a CDR that is a resolution of 10000dpi but when I export to PNG and make it 50px wide it looks like ca-ca :). The problem is in my App i will need to zoom in on the 50px wide image. How can I create small PNG files that I can zoom in on and still look crisp?
I've purchased a template pre-made and I'm editing the graphics. They come with supposedly editable .psd's
When I open it up it's the entire template of graphics. No individuals. They're advice is to select a certain layer and save for the web as the file I need after editing. Well, when doing this it saves the entire template, not just the file I need.
I edit my raw files in CS5. Then I saw as JPEG, and upload to be developed. Once the pictures are uploaded they look like I never edited them at all. What am I doing wrong. This does not happen if I edit a JPEG file.
How does one remedy this Adobe error message? "Can't scale the objects. The requested transformation would make some objects too small to use." This one always gets me. I'll spend more time trying to find the object in question. This has happened in almost al versions, but this time it's CS5.
I'm having a problem using a video file created in FInal Cut. A friend of mine made a movie that I need to use to either edit or more importantly just create a DVD with in VIdeo Studio. I had him convert the MOV file to MPEG 2 The file, both video and audio, plays perfectly in Windows Media Player, but when you bring it into Corel it doesn't see any audio.
The SAME MPG file shows these properties in Corel FILE File Format - MPEG-2 File Size - 1.1179,411kb Duration: 685.152 seconds
VIDEO Video Type MPEG-2Video, Lower Field First Total Frames: 20, 534 fames(s) Attributes: 24 bits, 720x480, 16:9 Frame Rate: 29.97 frames/sec Data rate: Variable bit rate ( max 20000 kbps)
AUDIO Audio type : none Total Samples: Attributes Layer Bit Rate
AND these properties in Windows Media Player Length 11:25 Bit Rate - Media Type - Video Aspect Ratio - 16x9 Audio Codec - MPEG audio Decoder Video Codec - Intervideo Video Decoder
So clearly you see that Windows can recognize the audio component that Corel does not see
As an alternative I had him give me the uncompressed MOV file. That file had these properties as shown in Corel ( right clicked file in Corel)
FILE File Format - Quick Time Movie Files Movie Size - 720 x 480 Duration: 685.152 seconds Track Counts 1 video, 1 sound
VIDEO Track 1 Compression DV/DVCPRO-NTSC Attributes: 24 bits, 720x480 Total Frames 20, 534 frames Frame Rate - 29.970 Duration 685, 1532 seconds start at 0.000 sec onds
Sound Track 1 Compression - 16-bit Little Endian Attributes: 48.000kHZ, 16 bits, Stereo Total Samples 32,887,254 Duration 685.151 seconds Start at 0.000
When I took the MOV file into VS X4 --- it worked fine on the time line. I then wanted to burn a DVD. I selected File, New, Share, Create DVD, added the media to the project, for disc template manager, I chose best mpeg 2 lpcm, for MPEG properties for file conversion I customized the settings to Encoder driver - Ulead MPEG NOW encoder, frame type lower field first, 720 x 480, 16:9, I brought the quality under media type up to 100%, video data rate 8000, variable, and the audo to LPCM.... The DVD burned but the file LOST a lot of quality,.... even played with less quality on preview as soon as you brought it into the CREATE DVD window.
Whether the properties use to convert MOV to MPG were correct? Why Corel doesn't see the audio on that file and windows does? Creating DVDs from MOV files? Did I set the DVD up correctly? Interestingly.... he created a DVD for me, and I could "rip" the file into Corel and it created a perfect MPG that was 1/3 of the size of the original mpg he gave me. Also, Windows DVD maker, a basic program read the MPEG he created and burned a perfect DVD with AUDIO and VIDEO that Corel could not.
When one edits a block all instances of the block are changed. What is the command in AC to make one instance of the block unique, so editing will not affect the instances? In Sketchup it is "make unique".
We have come across a problem using Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator CS6 on a MAC. We use Illustrator CS6 for putting together the graphics and use Photoshop CS6 for editing. When we save the image in full res and browse the image - the image looks grainy both on a Mac and a PC.
