View 1 RepliesWhen I am editing a lot of pictures, after saving the edited picture and when I go to open the next picture, the folder always goes back to the beginning. This then requires to scroll down to the nest picture to be edited which takes a LOT of time, especially if there are 200-300 pictures ihn the folder. In the "old" elements this was not a problem. Is there a setting someplace. I am using Elements 10.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am aware we can change the order of history in maya. I have a specific situation i d like to solve and basically is this:
Say i have a 1x1 rectangle. Now i apply to it, say, 2 split edge rings. And then i apply a mesh/transfer attributes, so that this rectangle will basically snap to a chosen surface. If i edit now the edge rings positions, everything is cool and will work as expected, because these rings have precedence over the transfer attribute tool. So far so good. If i now add a new edge ring to that rectangle, as you are already seeing, will not be taken into account by the transfer attributes tool, as it lays after in the history tree. So my question is:
How will i put this last edge ring node before the transf. attrib tool? This would be really great for my topo workflow. So graphically, so that it is more clear i want this:
POLY---RING1---RING2---TRANSF.ATTRIB.---RING3
CHANGE TO
POLY---RING1---RING2---RING3---TRANSF.ATTRIB.
I suppose the natural way of doing it would be in the hypergraph... I gave it a shot, but i couldnt really do it. I studied the connections in hypergraph, but i couldnt even replicate.... Things like WORLD that need to be connected would show greyed out on the other side so i could not connect anything. What is weird is that this are the connections maya does, but if i try, it shows greyed out.
how do I re-order or change the order of images within a file?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using Lightroom 3. When I pull up a DNG image that I had edited and exported as a DNG, the image doesn't show any of the editing history. How do I get this history to show for DNGs so I can make changes to that editing history?
View 25 Replies View RelatedI know there was a recent issue on this, but I have the same problem but it seems not the same solution. I've transferred from PC to Mac, installed LR4, copied across my catalogue and preview files. I've imported my images (though should I have needed to do this if the catalog and preview were already there?) from the NAS where they live. The images are there, my keywords are there, but not the editing history and collections, which I really need.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI just bought Adobe Elements Photshop and Premier 11. I spent 2 to 3 hours getting my picture video library into Adobe's organizer. I had some problems with duplicate picture (that I wanted to be there - so I had to rename them) and a couple pictures with corrupted metadata. After I got all that sorted out I am a bit miffed about the folder view on Adob'es organizer.
I love that you can switch to folder view - since this is how I have been organizing my pictures for a long time. I would like to continue organizing this way for now until I get a grasp on the other ways I can organize them in elements. However, every time I close and re-open organizer it switches back to the default view instead of folder view. there is a way to set folder view to the default view!
I have one hard disk filling up with photos, so I have purchased a secondary hard disk to expand my storage. I would like to move my shoots from 2010 to that new hard disk, but I don't want to loose all of the edits saved on them in LR3. I have experimented with moving non-important images that have edits on them, then re-importing them. Unfortunately, LR3 does not preserve that history.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to learn layers and layer masks. I loaded an image, than control J to duplicate it. I then added a layer mask. Everything good so far. I then went to filters chose a blur. Then went to brushes with black as my foreground color, I just wanted to brush away the blur, and got an error message. "could not use the history brush because the history state does not have a corresponding layer."
View 3 Replies View RelatedEverytime I try to use my history brush, that error pops up and I have no clue why. If I try to just open a blank document and use the brush it does not give me this error and I can "use" the brush but you cant see anything on the project.
so when this error happens im trying to do a project and say I place a file(picture) into the project and this is the very first thing I do. I place it, then I size the image down some. I then make a new layer to use the brush for behind the picture and then this is when I get the error. I have no clue what is wrong
I ran RECOVER on a drawing and it told me that three errors were fixed. Is there any way for me to know what the three errors were?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working in ancient Inventor 2009 and I'm using view representations for all of my .ipn levels. I've accidentally skipped one step and would like to put it in the middle of the others. Is there a way to re-organize the representations. I've attached a picture. I need to insert a representation above the check marked one.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to modify the order of the views that have been placed on the drawing sheet? We have a lot of times where we place an assembly view to drive the title block and then place the child components for detailing. Too many time the assembly view gets forgotten until you are done detailing the other parts, now instead of the assembly name showing on that sheet it is the first part you inserted. I would like to be able to select a view and tell Inventor that I would like this view to be the first view instead so I don't have to copy and past everything from one sheet to another. I used to have some code that looked at that first view but I can't find it anymore.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was able to re-order images in the grid view just by dragging them. Now I cannot move images.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got a Profile View style set up just the way I want it. The only problem that I have is that the automated fill hatch that I'm using between my existing and finish profiles is showing up behind the grid lines. Unfortunately, we use "lines overwrite" as a standard, so I can't just switch to "lines merge". Any way or a setting that would allow me to move the draw order of the fill hatch above the grid lines?

I have been trying to make a semicirlce or a half of a circle in order to make a Sun on a horizon. Thus far I have used the Ellipse tool and tried using the New Layer > Subtract Front Shape method but I am left with something closer to a crescent shape.
I have also tried to draw a circle and then remove handles but that hasn't worked either.
I have elements 10 and am using it in windows 7. The manual says that "As you edit your images, Photoshop Elements automatically keeps track of the file's edit history and adds this information to the file's metadata". That's what I want. But when I look in the History tab in the File Info, it's always blank.
How do I get it to turn on and keep track of the edits I've made to the image? (Note -- I'm not talking about the Undo History panel -- that works and shows the edit history. I'm talking about the History tab in "File Info".)
Working on a 28:30 project with 8 hours of footage shot over 13 days. I have seperate bins for each day. Some bins are displaying the clips in reverse order while in thumnail view and I cannot change it to be in sequential order. I've tried sorting it in list view first, but that doesn't work. I have the latest version of Premiere CC.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI notice that in every magazine each line of an article has exactly the same length as the the others despite the fact that there is a different number of words in each line. Moreover, spaces between words change from line to line, according to the amount of words in each one, and as a result every single line has the same length as the ones above and beneath it.In GIMP, when you use textedit (ie this ) you cant do what i mentioned above. Every line ends up in different lenght as each word that does not "fit in the box" goes to the line beneath it thus making a text look kinda ugly.
My question is, is there a way to align all the lines in order to make them have the same length? (just like a magazine would look)
I have a long shaft with parts mounted on. i want to section it and show the parts. i don't need to show the whole length of the shaft.
I know i can crop the isometric view, but this way i will not see the key hole which is on the other side, it's hidden.
If i make a section it 's in an orthogonal view only.
I want to make the section view, but later to transform the sectioned view to an isometry. is it possible?
