Photoshop :: Color Slider Plug In?
Nov 22, 2006I like to do most of my color corrections using the color slider instead of the info window. Is there any plug in or can one make me a plug in where we can have more than one color slider dialog box? I hope to have two more more color sliders and open the curves and then click on more than one color like one color slider for the flesh tone and another color slider for a gray area. Its like the multiple eyedropper but instead of using the info box, it uses the color slider in real time.

Jul 10, 2012I used to be able to hold down the Shift key and move all the sliders in the Color panel at the same time so that I could get a tint of the color I was working with. Now that doesn't seem to work. I've tried the Shift key, the Command key, the Option key and the Control key but nothing works. Is there still a way to move all the sliders at once so they maintain their relative positions? I'm working with the RGB Color panel window.

Photoshop :: Increasing Width And Color Of Slider
Dec 7, 2008I want to center images at higher magnifications. Just because you can put your cursor on the IMAGE and use the scroll wheel to make it go up and down doesn't mean you can make the image go right and left at the same time. Personally, I'd like to continue to use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out (done in preferences, yes) and put the cursor on either the vertical and horizontal slider bars and use the wheel to move the image up or down or right or left. But if you've ever tried to place your cursor on these narrow-*** slider bars you know it's hell to hit those things very
easily because they are barely 1/4" wide--if that.
So the question remains: How can a user increase the width
of these narrow little bars? Is there a way to do this?
Also the color of the bars is very near the same color and value as the
area surrounding it, making it difficult to see. Is it possible to alter the
color of the bars to something more visible, like say, a brighter color and/or different value

Apr 18, 2013My black color slider is stuck as a multicolored gradient. The file was originally in RGB mode and I've seen it happen before but usually if I change my color mode to CMYK the black slider bar goes back to normal.
Any way to fix this with illustrator open? It doesn't go away unless I close and re-open illustrator. I don't think that it affects my output colors...
Lightroom :: Temp And Tint Color Disappeared In Slider Button?
Feb 25, 2014I updated my Mac OS to Mavericks. Now in Lightroom 5 I've noticed that in the Basic module the "temp" and "tint" slider buttons no longer appear in color, but rather in the same grayscale as the rest of the slider buttons. They still function normally but having the color appear on the slider worked for me in my workflow. how (or even if) it's possible to get the color back?

Jun 6, 2012How do I get the recovery slider to show up in ACR? When I open an image there is no recovery slider under my exposure slider. When I open images previously edited in Photoshop Elements the slider appears in CS6 ACR. I want it there all the time as default.Â

Apr 15, 2009want to a boder for each grid but the Grayscale slider prevails and all of the others sliders are off. I go to the color palette and click at the top right of the palette and a menu appears the with options like grayscale sliders, RGB Sliders, HSB slider, CMYK Sliders, Lab sliders, and HTML sliders the online one on is the Grayscale sliders after that all of them are off The layer menu is off completely, and some other features in the photoshop cs3, and when I go and save the file the GIF, JEGP and all other common formats are off, I can't save the file on those formats because psp, photoshop pdf and other that I am not interested on. I want gif, jegp etc. I have just realize that when I created a new documents I might put it in the grayscale mode only. What do you think about it guys I want to be able to apply boders and save it in gif, jepg and other common format

Sep 11, 2012When I'm doing RGB retouch I'm often converting the image to CMYK just to use the Channel Mixer in that mode. I can never seem to get the hang of channel mixer in RGB to the same result, I guess I just understand CMYK plates better.

Photoshop :: Hue / Saturation - Slider Does Not Change Image To B&W
May 16, 2013I have been trying to convert images to appear lijke B&W pen&ink drawings. I followed some instructions found on You Tube - (1) Duplicate Layer (2) Colour Dodeg (3) Invert (4) Gussian Blur and (5) Reduce Saturation.... However, when a layer is in "Colour Dodge" and I slide the saturation to -100, it appears to contain colour. Even though the opacity of that layer is 100%, the layer below seems to show through. The only way I can get it to go B&W is by also changing the layer below to B&W (or no saturation).

If it is a curve adj layer andi I set a point, undoing the move again results in the correction being undone, but the point on the curve remains.

Mar 7, 2008I have Photoshop Elements 5.0 (windows). On my Organizer page, I am missing the bottom row of functions (which I have seen pictured on the Help Center). This is making it difficult to navigate and organize.
I am missing: Arrangement menu, thumbnail size slider, full screen view button, date view, map icon. The bottom-most item is the 'click here to add caption' under the photo. I looked all over the tool bars. Am I missing something obvious or do I have a software problem?

Nov 19, 2012When working on an image in ACR, if you select one of the local adjustment tabs, such as Graduated Filter, and move any of the sliders on the right-hand side, any values you change will be retained if pressing 'Cancel', then opening the image again in ACR and selecting the same tab. I find this surprising, as I would have thought that by pressing 'Cancel', any adjusted settings, since opening the image on this occasion in ACR, would not be retained.

Furthermore, if you open another image in ACR and select the same local adjustment tab, the same settings that you adjusted in the other image have identical slider settings in that image as well.

I can see that this behaviour could be viewed as useful, i.e. when wanting to use the same local adjustment on multiple images, as any adjustment of the local adjustment's slider settings, on their own, will have no effect unless you actually perform the selected local adjustment to the image. But, as I say, I would have expected Photoshop to simply not retain any settings you have adjusted, since opening the image on this occasion in ACR, if you don't press 'Open Image' or 'Done', and simply press 'Cancel'.
Photoshop Elements :: Burning Slideshow To Disc And Sound Slider
Jan 31, 2013I have made a slide show with narration and music. Using Photorshop 10 Organizer.

1.  The sound slider has no effect. The music does not dip when there is narration on a slide.  Can this be solved?

2.  I cannot burn the slideshow. Trying in Photoshop (trying a CD as well as DVD) it will not burn. The CD seemed to burn, but there was nothing on the disc when it said it was completed. Trying on the DVD it put me into Premiere Elements 10. It showed the soundtrack but not the pictures. During the burn the disc came out before burning had finished. Another time it completed the burn but there was nothing on the disc. sometimes the unknown error 2131042560 was quoted.
