Photoshop had an adjustment tool where I could make my photo more red, blue, yellow black with sliders. I have a photo that needs more overall yellow. How can I do this in Photoshop Elements?

On the online help list and tutorials I have seen, there is a recovery slider. Yet, when I tried to practice with raw files in camera raw, the recovery slider was not there. 1. The sound slider has no effect. The music does not dip when there is narration on a slide. Can this be solved?
2. I cannot burn the slideshow. Trying in Photoshop (trying a CD as well as DVD) it will not burn. The CD seemed to burn, but there was nothing on the disc when it said it was completed. Trying on the DVD it put me into Premiere Elements 10. It showed the soundtrack but not the pictures. During the burn the disc came out before burning had finished. Another time it completed the burn but there was nothing on the disc. sometimes the unknown error 2131042560 was quoted.
PSE 11 won't fit screen can't access slider bar at the side of application.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI inherited a huge 4-panel poster file that was built on top of another file, and then the old file was deleted. I also deleted all the paragraph, character and object styles and unused colors. The problem is there are hidden cmyk colors that show up (I'm guessing it must be in type appearances, but there are so many combinations I can't use the "select" options effectively). I've also tried to change the color swatches to "spot" and search for them in Separations preview, but they still don't show up.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI have my Pantone Solid Coated palette open in Illustrator but can't find the Pantone colors from 7548 to 8002 (they actually jump from 7547 to 8003, and I want to use 7737), my list is sorted by name.
The only thing I think might be the problem is that these have a transparant White value, and all the rest hasn't so maybe it's in another swatch ?
I work in prepress. I have an Illustrator CS6 file that is made up of 3 Pantone Spot colors. I save the file as an eps from Illustrator and rip the file with our prepress software. When previewing the ripped file with our prepress software it shows me that I have process colors (CMYK) somewhere in the file. I can not see these colors visually in the ripped file so I go back to Illustrator to see if I can edit them out of the file. I use the Preview Separations tool but can't find those process colors anywhere. There are no placed images, everything is vector art. I double check any white color and make sure it doesn't have any tiny percentage of process color in it. I make sure my spot colors are indeed spot colors and not process colors. I add used colors, I delete unused colors. I can't find the CMYK being used anywhere in my Illustrator file. How to clean up these "hidden" colors? This was also a problem in CS3. I'm using an iMac 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5, Mac OS X, Version 10.7.5
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Pantone + Solid coated book that has 336 new colors in the back. Specifically pms 2028 C. The problem is when I try to find it in the PMS charts in Illi CS6 or PS CS6, those 336 new colors are not in my Pantone + Solid coated charts. I ran the adobe updates and it updated what it needed but I'm still unable to find it. Am I looking in the wrong chart? The name matches that of my PMS book so it just doesn't make sense. I scroll through the Illi chart and also try to use the "find" section.

Reduce the Radius to 1.0 pixel or below and the streaks go away. Turn off "More Refined" and the streaks go away.
The slider for the brushes hardness is never available. How can adjust/or show availability?

I have looked for a place where the settings are causing this but cannot find it. The top and bottom margins look OK.

When I tried to use the Adjust Shadows feature under Adjust Lighting, the program became unresponsive. It wouldn't allow me to do anything at all. I had to exit the program using the Task Manager. I tried two more times to see if I was doing something wrong, but I followed the same process I've been using for years and each time the program would freeze.

You can use negative values, too -- any number between -1000 and 10000 is OK.

I'm trying to adjust brightness/contrast and saturation over about 30 layers on an animated GIF. Everything looks great until I do a save for web and click on the animate box. At that point, the color/changes drop off completely. It shows up fine when it's just the one layer being shown. And it seems to be showing up on all the layers when I'm in the main edit window. I keep looking and making sure I have the 'this adjustment affects all layers below,' and I do. I even tried saving a GIF with the other setting turned on and I got the same thing.
Anyway, I exported a few GIFs, thinking maybe the adjustment layers would kick in as it saved, but nope. Neither layer saved into the exported GIF.
I'm sure this is just a simple setting I'm missing, but I'm banging my head against the desk at this point.
I've successfully merged a sequence of photos taken along the shoreline of Yellowstone Lake using the Photoshop Elements 11 Photomerge Panorama facility. Alignment is perfect but the sky has gone wrong at one or two boundaries.
The sky is there in both the adjoining photos and I'm sure I could do a better job than Elements if I could adjust the mask boundaries and get rid of the existing smudged area, but I can't find out how to do that.
Can I adjust the displayed size of items in the toolbox/toolbar? (program=elements9/OS=Win7) Changing screen res doesn't work.

is it possible to have Inventor adjust array elements dependent on the available space.
It should use integer numbers only- as there is room for 25.5 elements it reduces the number of elements to 25.
The array should be be dependent on a measurement to make comparision by eye obsolete, as well as the array is to produce the right number of elements as soon as the space available is measured.
