View 3 Replies View RelatedIn Lightroom 3 when you moved through images these modify keys (+ and -) would always remain at the temperature slider. It seems to now always default to exposure. Is there anyway you can change this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using my created brush and when I try to use the basic brush, it immediately jumps back to my created brush with it's stroke size.
Align to pixel grid is turned off so it cant ber that.
I used to resolve this problem (when I was actually trying to keep using my created brush when it was reverting back to basic brush) but I would resolve it by double clicking on the designated brush in the brushes palette.
Also seeing as were on the subject of brushes, nop matter how I adjust the firmness/ pressure both in the driver setting of my wacom and for the brush in illustrator, I see no difference?
Yes, I'm probably the only person on the planet that wants this, but I liked how the Auto Tone auto adjusted the Exposure slider (ONLY!) and left all the other sliders at zero in the Lightroom 4 beta.
Is there a way to write a preset that returns that behavior?
I have a Nikon D7000, I use Photoshop CS5. I took multiple exposures in-camera in RAW and they appear fine on the back of my camera, and in the finder window on my Mac, but when uploaded and viewed through Bridge and Photoshop the images are monochromatic RED in color. I have contacted Nikon and they say they can not guarantee compatibility with 3rd party software. No amount of editing, that I have found, returns the colors to where they should be (NOT RED).

I'm working my way through Scott Kelby's 7-Point book and in lesson 7, I'm directed to adjust the clarity slider in Camera Raw but it's just not there! I see vibrance and saturation but no clarity. Can anyone help me find this baby?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have the most recent version of elements, version 11. The camera raw plug-in is up to date, some 7.4 something. On the online help list and tutorials I have seen, there is a recovery slider. Yet, when I tried to practice with raw files in camera raw, the recovery slider was not there. I tried looking around the window, clicking menus, but can't find it.
View 2 Replies View Relatedwhen importing photos (raw files) to Lightroom they look very different than in the camera. At the very beginning photo looks more or less the same and then, a message „Loading…” is displayed and in a result the photo looks differently. It looks like with imposed dimmer yellow/red filter, higher contrast, much lower sharpness and what is most important, they are all overexposed sort of. The screen settings are as sRGB, ICC profile: sRGB IEC61966-2.1. I am using DSLR Sony A700 that save photos in ARW format, Lightorrom just updated to version 4.3 .
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed CS6. When I open my photos from Bridge in Camera Raw, the old window from CS5 opens (the one with Fill Light and Recovery), not the new one with Highlights/Shadows.
I can get it to change to the new version by clicking on a fly out menu that says Reset Camera Raw Defaults but I have to do that for each photo. How can I get the new version to open all the time?
Does this slider work like the radius slider in high-pass filter in PS?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a new notebook with intel I7 processor, 8 GB memory and 500 GB 7.200 drive. I captured successful the video from my Sony camera, cutted the video, produced a DVD and enjoyed afterwards the video. To back-up the video on a tape normally I generate a video file in my Video Studio x3 (latest version) and transfer it back to the tape on my video camera. This isn't working in the right way due to stuttering after 10-15 minutes transfering back. After restarting the transition the time until stuttering starts is then less then 10 minutes, next time less then 5 minutes.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI saw one video in which a Photoshop geek quickly launces his raw editor by clicking on a small, illegible icon in the lower right-hand of his Layer Icon in his Layers Dialogue but of course he doesn't explain how that works, and there is no such corresponding little sub-icon in MY Layers icon, and the word Raw doesn't even seem to show up anywhere in any menu. I know this has to be possible. I can open a raw file (.nef, in this case) the obvious way, but after switching it over to Photoshop I can't switch it back to the raw editor (?)

Healing brush only, when we alt click to set the selection point and then move to the area we want changed and drag the curser, the selection point glides along smoothly while the target hops along giving a series of altered spots with non-altered spots in between.
Clone brush and so on are fine.
Any ideas, past experiences? Or have I ventured into new territory?
my polygonal lasso keeps jumping to close before I'm done and before I double click. Is there a way to make it less sensitive? What's wrong?
It seems that the more I use it the quicker it jumps to close.
Our company is migrating from CS1 to CS3 (finally!). We found a curious issue with the brush tool in Photoshop: in CS1, when you click near the edge of your open file window, it just draws to that point - and stops. That's it. In CS3, when you click near the edge of your open file window, it automatically jumps out / scrolls the window in the direction in which your line is traveling. Is there a way to disable this function?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use Adobe Photoshop Elements Version 8.0, and I use Windows 7.
The problem: Whenever I use any tools involving the usage of the mouse on the canvas, everytime I click to use the tool, sometimes the cursor seems to 'jump' out of position and I end up unintentionally putting paint on the wrong part of the canvas. And before I release the click, I try to move the mouse around in random directions to no avail; the mouse doesn't respond until I release the mouse. In another similar case, sometimes for a split second the cursor seems to move on its own and it leaves behind a random trail of color. Example: Let's say I wrote down my name 'Andrew' on the canvas. I end up something similar to 'Anc e.", along with a black dot/calligraphic stroke or two unintentionally placed when writing down my name. I had to undo and click several times until I properly got the tool working. I'm working on a certain project in PS
I'm guessing a part of my bare hand is just barely in physical contact with the touchpad?
when I use the shortcut key to increase my brush size, from 1 to 10, it increase at a 1 rate per click.
but hen I hit 10, next one is 20px. how can I change this behavior to go to 11?
The quick selection tool now doesn't work on the image I'm editing at all. When I try to select only the leaf, the marquee jumps straight to the edge of the photo, effectively selecting the whole of the image and background. Here is a screenshot:
I have tried resetting the tool.
I have a layer I'm resizing and is currently in Transform. When I beging to drag the layer to position while it is in resize the center reference point will jump to my mouse causing me to move the reference point outside of the tranform layer. Normally I would have to click on the reference point and drag it intentionally or hold CTRL and click in the transformed layer to set a reference point, but it since CS6 is had still remainded in CC.
This happens when I transform the layer (Ctrl+T) and then grab the layer to move. I have to put the reference point back to center via mouse or by the reference point on the menu bar up top. Then I can go back and drag my later where I need it to finish my transform.
I've created a template and would like to import a PDF over the top of it. The problem is, when I import the PDF, the text jumps in the PDF as you can see below. As you can see the original file is on the right hand side.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWith osnap on endpoint only, no other dynamic inputs on, no polar, 3dobject snap dynamic input, grid or snap on.
The cursor looks like it jumps up form the endpoint but actually it moves in the same Z as the osnap. Also when i zoom in i can't move my cursor to the upper or lower part of the screen depending on where I zoom too. If I turn magnet off it seems better but still not correct. In the drawing I uploaded I can't move the cursor up to the entities. If I open a new drawing everything works, on a different drawing everything works. If I insert this into a new file I get the problems back.
My cursor jumps every time when I single click on to hatch or use the hatch command it also does the same with text.

They look just the way it shows on my camera LCD display, but when i open both file on photoshop CS5 or Bridge there is a huge drop in exposure on the RAW file. The jpg is fine. There is a huge difference in exposure between the RAW and jpg? It's the same file.
