When I open a picture in PS CS5, it automatically turns into a yellow-like gradient. IDK. It's always like this... I tried looking for the problem in the layer style setting, but all of it are in set in "default"
View 4 RepliesWhen I convert an RGB psd to CMYK color mode in photoshop everything works normally, but when I save as a TIF and open the file in any application other than Photoshop any white space in the image background is yellow.
I am running Photoshop CS4 on Mac OS 10.5.8.
the perspective viewport suddenly turns to a red ground with yellow objects. when I zoom in/out, the graphics return to normal, but only momentarily. this is not occurring in the other viewports. is this a video card issue or should I redownload and reinstall the software? my video card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670.

i have photoshop 7. I recently saw an image made using 2 pictures and htem the apply image feature. i cant seem to do it right, i open both images, click on the one that i want to apply to the other, but when i click apply image, the picture turns black.
View 9 Replies View RelatedIf my SNAP is turned OFF it automatically turns itself ON when i draw some linework. It keeps doing this in certain 2D only cad files. As a temporary fix i have tried to set my snap spacing to .0001 to keep the crosshairs running smoothly but they still appear excessively jumpy at about 1 unit. This only happens in plotable drawings that contain a certain 2D xref and the offending xref itself. If i unload all the xrefs the problem DISAPPEARS, although this doesn't let me draft any easier!
My OSNAP is working fine although it does reset itself when i have been using certain LISP routines.
FYI, if I open the same drawing on another users computer the SNAP stays off and the crosshairs run smooth.

every time I zoom OR when I will ad a Font the Picture goes to black, when I zoom in or out than a bit it changes to normal again.When I type then with a Font it changes black again until I zoom in or out a bit again.This is really annoying when I try to work cause it really takes time I don't have
Photoshop runs on the HD 3000 as far as I see (cause in the Options I only can choose this card uhm, the GeForce 540 activates first when the Graphpower from the HD3000 is to less in the Intel Drivers opinion).
I had with a custom texture not showing up on my parts while they were showing up on a coworkers computer fine. I recently cured my own issue (I just needed to click Textures On in the View toolbar under Appearances). I am thinking it is going to be a simple fix as well but I have not been able to find it.
Everytime I close out of a part or assembly it automatically turns the textures back off so I have to turn them on everytime. I looked through the Application Options and Document settings to keep textures turned on but could not find anything. How to turn the textures on and leave them on?
Creating a collage. Just placed a new object with a layer mask. Now I need to create a hue/saturation, levels adjustment layer and color balance adjustment layer all with masks. Ok, no problem, but when I do this, my original picture turns black and white.

I has a behavior I have never come across yet, because whenever you remove certain parts of the layer mask, i.e. paint the bottom half black for example, photoshop adjusts the gradient to the remaining opaque part of the layer.

How would I extend the left side with gradients that would match the colors of the pixels on the left edge, and all gradiate to black? (I'd blur or something later so that the transition from the picture to the gradient start appeared smoother)
I'm running Autocad 2013 Civil 3d, when I open a particular drawing the cursor turns to a circular shape as if it is downloading something, but it is actually not loading anything. This circular cursor does not let you do anything with the drawing, you just have to keep hitting esc until it gives you a fatal error message that says "FATAL ERROR: Cannot write to undo file (probably disk full)" and it kicks you out of autcad. How to get rid of this ciruclar cursor?

1. used the circle marquee and did a 8 point stroke.
2. Selected the circle with the magic marquee to get an active selection
3. Gradient tool
Doing the above results in jagged edges that alias badly once I fill the selection with the gradient. With a basic color the circle is perfeclty fine, only once I add the gradient the edges become jagged. How might I fix this?
I just did a reformat, and I used to be able to open DNG's in ACR just by double clicking them, but I can't figure out what setting that was. It was nice to avoid having to right click and select Open in Camera Raw, and just press enter.

How do I get RAW images to open automatically in ACR (Adobe Camera Raw)? They did before (two months ago). They do not now. I can, of course, right click and go to the dropdown menu and tell it to open in RAW but that is an extra, unnecessary step. There's a saying..."It's not a bug, it's a feature." No, this seems to be a bug. What happened?

I am on a MacPro running Mt. Lion, all sw is up to date.
When I open an image by double clicking on the file name, or by right-click > open in > photoshop, immediately up pops an image saying "Some Clipping May Occur" or the print dialogue in some cases.
But, if I drag the file into PS and drop it, it does not try to print it. So it seems to be something about actually "opening" a file that makes it want to print. I tried changing the file association to another program then back, but it didn't work. I'm using WinXP
I have a very large PDF that I need to open in Photoshop (It is a template image). The size of the image is 125.9843" x 91.5354".
However, when I open in Photoshop the image is automatically resized to about 106" x 79". I have tried to manually input the dimensions upon opening the file, however, when I open the file and check "Image Size" the dimensions are 106" x 79" again.
I can open the image in Illustrator at the correct dimensions automatically, and the PDF file itself is at the correct dimensions.

File-> Open is the only way I can open files with 64-bit.When I clicking icons or right click-> Open With they only open with the 32-bit version. (Even though I've set the default program to 64-bit)
I'm able to open 64 bit by shortcut and it runs very well, about 10 times faster loading time and extremely smoothly for everything I do.

I like to edit my images in Photoshop. why after I upload raw files into LR and using photoshop as external editor, the file opens but not in the PS (photoshop) raw processor. I have to work around this by first finding the image in windows explorer and dragging this file into PS. Shouldn’t the file open automatically in the PS raw processor ?

Why doesn't the image fully fit in the available screen area automatically, when first opening?
