I have the CS2 upgrade disc and the original Photoshop 7,with serial number, but it is damaged.
My CS2 is shown as registered but I am not able to see if that is of any value in this situation.
After downloading I got a message that CS6 was installed but don't see it on my desktop and my copy CS5 still says it is "5". What can I do?

Now whenever I launch Photoshop CS2, I get a message saying this (to effect):"The required user name and licence key have been lost, and this program must close."Right after displaying that message in a dialog box, Photoshop closes--giving me no opportunity to insert my license key. How do I get my license key inserted and Photoshop working normally again?

When I try to open the most recent back-up, I keep getting a message stating the catalog is too new for the current version of Lightroom. I have not done anything to my most recent version of LR.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI installed my upgrade to LR5 last night but it keeps giving me an error when I try to upgrade my LR4 catalog. It goes through the initial steps, stays at "preparing new searchable data" for a long time, then eventually stops and pops up the error message: "Unable to upgrade catalog. Lightroom encountered problems when trying to update the format of the catalog file and cannot use this catalog in this version of Lightroom". I tried upgrading a smaller catalog that I don't use anymore and it worked fine. how I can get this catalog converted? Its my main catalog with all of my current years' images. For the time being LR 4 is working fine but I'd love to get 5 up and running.

Please fix the folder permissions or choose a different catalog" I have changed the permissions to read/write for the drive, parent folder and catalog file.

1) enable profile corrections
2) setup is Auto or Custom Or Default
3) the camera is correcr ( canon)
4) Model of the lens is correct EF17-40
5) Profile is shown as EOS-1D Mk 3
the arrows do not show any other camera and Mine is a Canon 50D, How do get the correct Profile to register also unable to update DNG files.
I have a new computer and want to move the databse catalog over. I backed up in PSE 9 to an external hard drive. I connected to HD to the new computer and tried a resotre catalog. I chose "New Location" since I was going from XP to Windows 7 and was unsure if there would be a conflict with file locations. I also chose "Restore Original Floder Strucure". Very quickly I recieve an error message "Could not restor file .xml". I have run Restore Catalog several times and each time a DIFFERENT FILE receives the error message. I then disabled Norton Anti Virus Auto-Protect. I then disabled several programs running in the background. Same problem. I then copied the Backup Catalog to the new computer and tried to Restore it from there. Same Problem. I have now run a Repair Catalog on the original file. PSE states there is no error. I want to purchas PSE 11, but wanted to install/restore the database with the same version 9 first.

View 20 Replies View RelatedInstalled VideoStudio for compatibility with Windows 7. Used mainly for editing out commercials fron television programmes recorded onto DVD. Both single use and re-recordable discs used. Everything worked well though the program is top-heavy for my requirement. Automatic suggestion last week that I install an update. The update failed and the problems started. I can no longer import from DVD. The process appears to run up to 60% then stops. The program then stops responding and has to be closed using task manager. The DVD can only be ejected by re-starting the computer. Tried removing VideoStudio using the clean-up tool and following the regedit instructions. Re-installed but no improvement. Suggested workround by Corel is to copy the vob file from the DVD to the desktop, rename this file as a mpg then import into VideoStudio. This does not work. So at the moment I have un-useable software.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSo in the last week or so, my C3D 2014 randomly decided not to copy viewports. It copies the box, but nothing in it. Plus you can't go into model space in the copied viewport. Just looks and acts like a normal rectangular polyline. But when you check the properties, it still says it is indeed a "Viewport" object.
Short of reinstalling the software, any setting that would cause this?
I recently re-installed my AutoCad 2002 on an XP-SP2 computer.
I used to be able to do a windows copy or copy with basepoint and paste the item into another drawing.
Since I put AC on the XP computer, this does not work.
I recently updated Gimp on my Mac Version 10.7.5. I can't copy and paste images from the Internet. Instead, I have to save that image, open it on Gimp, select all of it, and then I can paste it onto my work document. It's a huge hassle, and I'm sure there's a way I can copy and paste images from the Internet. When I try, it just says there is no image data on the clipboard for me to paste.

When I load an image either a jpeg or psd file then make a layer copy I am unable to apply a preset action to this. Either a default action or one of my own on a Mac OSX running Lion. This did not present a problem in CS5 and I am wondering if I've missed something basic?

I open new drawing, then press Ctrl+Shift+C to copy an object with a base point and then when i press Ctrl+V nothing shows.
It says Command: _pasteclip, but there is no object attached to the cursor to paste.
I could not move or copy the hatch,it seems like locked. The dxf drawing was exported from CSC OrionR18.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from Autocad 2012 Mechanical. Previously, I was able to simply select objects in AC, ctrl-c them, then paste them into Word. I am now using 2013 Product Design Suite, with the Vault addin for word. I am now unable to do this. What I notice is that when I switch to my Word window and paste, there's some unknown process occurring in Autocad. Furthermore, what should be an image box with my drawing in Word is a blank box.

I am UNABLE to use the tileable blur on ANY layer! it doesn't matter what layer or what is selected, it ALWAYS errors out as: "Unable to cut or copy because the selected region is empty."
I CANNOT get the error message to stop!
You'd think that being able to copy and paste would be a fairly straightforward task in any piece of software. Not in AutoCAD 2013. The Help file says the commands are located on the 'Clipboard' panel, under the 'Home' tab. I've spent a lot of time searching and can't find them, nor can I find any information about how to turn such a panel on.
This is the sort of thing that shouldn't be a problem in a well-designed piece of software. We're finding AutoCAD 2013 to be almost unusable out of the box, and have to spend ages fiddling with the (clunky) Custom User Interface commands to make it work. Every time AutoDesk bring out a new version of AutoCAD it seems to get even worse. I could resort to keyboard commands, but shouldn't have to. I'm starting to think the best solution would be to invest in a copy of Vectorworks instead.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm finally wrapping up work on an iLogic Configurator project and have started to brainstorm the best workflow to get this "Smart Assembly" into the design group's hands. I had been anxiously awaiting the new "iLogic Design Copy" feature in IV2012, but just recently learned that users are unable to effectively rename any components with this command.
Is this really true? If we can add prefixes or suffixes, what's stopping us from changing the entire filename? We haven't upgraded to 2012 yet, but it seems like this may be a silly and unjustifiable restriction to a command that would otherwise save our designers hours of "file-management" (ie, manually renaming parts in Explorer, component replace in assy's, replace references in idw's, etc) each week.
Long story short, it seems that every workflow I've come across has had some sort of silly limitation that makes it undesireable for my application:
My top-level assembly contains all of the rules, and changes parameter values in the referenced skeletal parts. It also swaps standard parts for other standard parts as needed.I need access to rename ALL files (idw's, top-level assembly, subassemblies, and base components) while still maintaining/updating all internal hyperlinks between them.iLogic rules must be carried over to the new copied components (the existing "Copy Assembly" command strips the assembly of all rules). In light of the iLogic Design Copy's apparent shortcomings, any better workflow?
When I try to package a file with a lot of links, the Indesign CC packaging process fails with the error message "Unable to copy necessary file(s)". I am able to make a PDF of the same file, but when packaking the process fails every time. The app does not crash, just gives an error message. What gives?
(I'm using a MacBook Pro Retina Display with 16 GB RAM, running OS 10.9 and all CC 9.1 updated with the latest patches).
