When printing from photoshop CS5 I am unable to print more than one copy at a time. Printing one copy at a time is annoying and time consuming!!

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo in CS5 we were able to print to the custom sizes we created in the print screen for our HP Z3200, but for some reason we haven't been able to use the custom sizes in CS6, you click on a custom size and when you say ok from the printer settings and it goes back into Photoshop print settings it binks back to 8.5x11. You can use the standard sizes that came with the HP print software, but not any custom sizes you create. Is there a setting somewhere in Photoshop that I need to change?

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen printing from PS CC using the print dialogue box I am getting a severe red shift in the final print. When I print the same image from PS CS5 or CS6 I get a color-correct print.
I am running a MacPro with OS 10.7.5, and printing to a Canon iPF8300 with its latest firmware and print driver. I am using the proper ICC profile for the paper. In the print dialogue box, I select "Photoshop Manages Colors".
A couple things I noticed: In the "Print Settings" where I dial in the printer setup, the settings for "Color" are both turned off (Colorsync & Vendor).In the printer driver settings (still within "Print Settings") the "Color" tab is grayed out, but when I click the "Settings" for that sub-panel, Colorsync is selected.When I printed the image from the Canon PS Plug-in, the red cast was gone, but the blacks were too heavy (there is no "Black Point Compensation" check box available because the Canon plug-in uses Adobe Color Engine for that, and it's only 32-bit and won't run).
When printing in 3d with the vp set to 3dhidden and the shade plot set to hidden legacy some solid items print with the wire frame. This usualy happens with torus and cones. How do I stop this?

I have just bought and installed Lightroom 5 and need to set my print size to A3 and in the future even bigger. I do not have the facility at home and need to have them sized correctly for the print shop so they do not have to waste time resizing them. I am at a loss how to do this. I cant find any settings for this size print. A3 is roughly 42 x 29.7 cm.

View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing CS3, windows XP. Printer is an HP 3550 color. I know this could be a printer error, but it only happens when I use Photoshop. I get a PCL XL error, IllegalAttributeError. Happens at least 95% of the time, so what I resorted to doing was to format all my work in CS3, then print using my old 5.5. However, many times that will not open!
Is there some setting in PhotoShop I should check into? I checked the HP site and all the reasons for this error I seem to have covered.

View 11 Replies View RelatedBit of a Photoshop novice here, use it for DVD covers and labels. I have been using CS3 previously but upgraded to CS5.5 last year. The thing is on CS5.5 I can only print one page at a time even when I input say 20 copies to be printed, only one will print. That goes for the regular printer for printing covers and the disc printer.
I can open CS3 up and right away it will print however many I ask it to.
Is there something I am missing? Something so painfully obvious that it is staring me in the face but I am just not seeing it?
I print most of my photos as 4x6 snapshots and keep them in folders for easy viewing. I'd like to be able to print the date in the lower, right corner similar to a photo that's been taken with a camera with a date back. I know this is sacreligious to some, but it's very convenient to have the date where it's readily visible.

Is there a way to Copy and Rotate something at the same time? If I click on the rotate icon, I can rotate the object(s) in question but I cannot copy them from where they are. It just moves them on a rotational axis.

I've gotten to where I can at least select the letter, but then when I try to copy and paste, maybe I'm not using the right buttons? Ctrl-c for copy? And Ctrl-v for paste right?
I can move the individual letters by clicking the pixel mover, but since I need a double shot of two letters--one a 'c" and one 'p' I'm up the creek if I can't copy and paste the one I've got of each.
I'm recently re-scanning some photos that were originallly scanned quite a few years ago. Giving them the same name as the previous scanned (only with a _1 at the end), I import the newly scanned photo to the same folder (which is how I organize my photos), to be able do compare and later copy metadata from the original scan to the latter. As I haven't yet done any flagging or rating, most metadata will contain only keywords. But stored under "Metadata" in Library view, "Capture time" is also stored, but I cannot find it anyway among the "Copy Metadata" options. Is there something I have missed, or is there a work-around somewhere?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble printing an image that's longer than 11 inches. I have a Canon i560 printer, and use either PS 7 or PS CS.
I want to print an image that's 6 x 16 inches, using 13x19" paper that I've cut in half the long way. I specified Custom (for size), and got approximately the correct width, but it stops printing after 11 inches. I also tried printing a JPG version of the image using WindowsXP print utility, and it allowed me to specify a custom size, but it also stops printing after 11 inches in length.
I just purchased photoshop elements 11 and I've tried to print more than one copy. The dialoge boxs says the number I wish to print. but it still only prints one copy. Also, I saw a way try and reset this from the welcome screen, but I chose to have it open directly to editor. So my welcome screen doesn't come on anymore. How do I reset this.
View 9 Replies View RelatedFrom time-to-time, I seem to have had a temporary printing issue with Photoshop Elements 8, whereby the photo I was trying to print would not be printed completely, but part of it would be cut off, as if the printer's print-head would not be receiving the data from Photoshop past a certain point in one particular plane.
Up to this morning, I had never encountered any printing issue with Photoshop CS6, which I have had, and printed with, for the past 6 months or so. This morning, however, I encountered the same issue, for the first time, using Photoshop CS6. It is now printing properly again, but why do I occasionally encounter this with either software?
When I normally print, I like to print photos to exact sizes, but which vary greatly, and so I prefer the technique of creating a new blank A4-sized document and dragging my photo into this document and, by using Free Transform, size the photo to my exact requirements, before printing onto good quality A4 glossy or sometimes matte paper.
What happened this morning was that, using the technique above, I was trying to print a very small passport-sized photo over to the right-hand side of a sheet of A4 paper, with the blank document in the portrait orientation. My photo was only partially printed, and cut off past a certain point in the horizontal plane. By dragging my photo further towards the centre of the blank A4-sized document and reprinting onto the same sheet of A4 worked fine. After experimenting a little by printing the photo in various places on the same sheet of A4, I discovered that the photo was not printing past a certain point, in the horizontal plane, towards the right-hand side of the sheet of A4.
This cut off point was consistent in every printing attempt. There was a certain point to the right-hand side of the sheet of A4, where, in the horizontal plane, it would simply not print past. By measuring this cut off point in the horizontal plane, it is 4.8cm from the right-hand edge of the sheet of A4, in its portrait orientation.After resetting all tools, turning the PC and printer off and then on again, launching Photoshop CS6 and retrying, it seems to be printing correctly again, and I am able to print my photo anywhere on the sheet of A4, without anything being cut off past a certain point.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe issue I'm having involves setting the number of copies to print in Photoshop's print dialog. Most applications I've worked with will set the dm Copies of the DEVMODE to this value and send a single page to be printed. Photoshop, however, is setting dm Copies to "1" (even if the default DEVMODE provide by my driver has dmCopies set to another value) and sending several identical pages to the driver. Obviously this can slow down printing dramatically when the copy count is in the hundreds.
I've observed the same behavior from Photoshop when printing with 3rd party drivers, so it doesn't seem isolated to the drivers I maintain.
My question is, does Photoshop always send multiple copies of an image as individual pages, or is it trying to set the copy count through an interface I don't support? If it is using a different interface to set the copy count what interface is it using?
slow copy to clipboard? I have pinned it down to my virus protection. I use McAfee and I notice that my CPU goes up considerably when I do a copy to clipboard under mcshield.exe. When I turn off the McAfee, copy to clipboard in X6 works fast and perfectly.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOnly just noticed this one since upgrading from LR4 Beta to LR4. First session developing a few shots taken over the weekend (.CR2 RAW files). When I only have a few shots, all taken in the same environment, I tend to just get the first one right and then Copy the Develop settings, and paste them onto each subsequent shot.
What happens on my 64 bit Windows 7 box - the first time I paste the settings to any shot, I get the task bar appear at the top right, which after a brief time changes to 'task completed' - but no settings have been pasted. If I then paste the settings it works the second time.
I have the CS2 upgrade disc and the original Photoshop 7,with serial number, but it is damaged.
My CS2 is shown as registered but I am not able to see if that is of any value in this situation.
In the drawing title block I would like to place a text reading the print, date and time. This should reflect the current system date and time. I would have this done on the template file so that all new drawings will have this feature builtin.
Is there a property that i can have the text to link to?
Is there any third party program for this?
