Photoshop :: Submenus In Toolbar Are Missing
Mar 4, 2013My submenus in the toolbar are missing. For example, when I click on the bandaid, I can only access the healing brush. I cannot see the spot healing tool or others.

Nov 20, 2006ive had to reinstall photoshop after my pc crashed, now the problem i have is ive lost the second tool bar under the main one , the one that contains the redeye removal button (i still have the one on the left).

Nov 7, 2008I was entitled to a free upgrade to CS4 which I have installed but I now have many problems in trying to get CS4 to run properly.
1. Sometimes CS4 will open but the toolbar with FILE, EDIT is missing
2. Mostly when I open CS4 IF I click on 'FILE' everything is greyed out apart from Import, Automate and scripts and CS4 hangs.
3. If I click on FILE to try and open a file that too is greyed out until I click on 'Clear open recent'
4. If I open a image and want to get rid of any blemishes with the spot healing brush I can select the tool, click on a spot and a nice splodge is left on the image but the tool does not clear the blemish until I click on a completely different tool. eg. Text or anything.
5. Using Unsharp mask As I move the 'Radius' Nothing happens for ages.
So I have absolutely no idea why this these things are happening.
My System is Windows Vista
4GB Ram (although CS4 only thinks I have just under 2GB
CPU Intel Dual core 2.2GHZ
Graphics card is a NVIDIA Geforce 7300 GT and last week I downloaded a new driver to 7.15.11.7824
I have played with the cache and memory allocation, to no avail
Photoshop :: Tool Palette Submenus Slow To Display
Jul 20, 2013I click and hold on a tool in Photoshop CS 6 on the Mac and it takes 2-3 seconds for the submenu to display. All my mouse settings are towards the fast end. Illustrator CS6 displays them much quicker and previous versions of PS weren't this slow to display the submenus. Can I speed up the submenu (alternative tool) display?

1 Sure but where are the Autocad icons actually hidden?
2 Why did they get lost in the first place ? The cui does some odd things at times.
3 What is the right spot to add the path changing file support paths makes no difference. (includes reboots)
Other machines here are fine don't want the same problem with theirs when we add the new toolbars.
As an extra we run new workspaces to avoid this problem but the original Civil 3D workspace is corrupt maybe.
AutoCad :: Finding Missing Toolbar
Aug 12, 2013I am currently working in Autodesktop 2006 at the moment and have somehow misplaced my Express Tools "Layers" toolbar. I don't remember touching it, but it's now gone. I've toggled it on and off with no luck.

Never mind. I just reset the profile and dealt with it that way.
AutoCad :: Draw Toolbar Missing?
Jun 27, 2007I only turned my back on my daughter for a moment; but before I knew it she had rearranged everything on my computer. I don't know how she managed it; now I don't have a "Draw" toolbar on the screen anymore! I don't know where it's gone, and I haven't got a clue how to get it back. I have right-clicked on the side of the screen and selected the ACAD tab etc. and the "Draw" option is ticked.

Dec 7, 2012I'm running CD X5 on a windows 7 machine. I had a custom "my Toolbar" set up wit all my most used tools and now suddenly it's gone! It is turned on in the menu (checked). I have unchecked it and rechecked it to no avail. I have re-booted my machine and still nothing. why it's gone but I can't seem to get it back.

Mar 4, 2013I have created a new pipe network in a drawing that contained previously created networks. When the Network Layout Toolbar came up the dropdown for pipes was empty. If select a start point a network structure is placed there but at that point it stops, it won't allow entry of a second point. Last week IT rebuilt my Windows profile.

Apr 7, 2009I happen to click on tools instead of using the hotkey, if it feels convenient or whatever. However, on my work machine I'm having a problem where a single click opens up the submenu for whatever tool I clicked on. For example, I click on rectangular marquee, and instead of just selecting rectangular marquee as the active tool it also presents me with the little submenu to choose from the alternative marquee tools. In all the years I have worked with Photoshop, this is the first time I have experienced this--usually I have to click+hold to get the submenu. Click+hold is the behavior I want out of this feature, but I can't find any setting in the preferences to enable/disable this weird mode?

You should be able to show and hide partial customization menu toolbars with the -toolbar command because it can hide all toolbars including my partial customization menu toolbars currently shown. I've tried the toolbar menu alias (defined in the CUI command) and the name (refer to this link to the same image embedded below) and none work.

Nov 7, 2007I really like using Photoshop, but every once and a while I get this problem when I'm using Photoshop 7.0:
On the toolbar to the left-hand side (default), when I left-click a tool, the menu option for the other buttons (ex. Paint Bucket and Gradient) pops up. The strangest part is that it sometimes does this, and sometimes doesn't; I have never done anything to turn it off or on.
I would really like to turn this off, because it is incredibly distracting when I am switching through a lot of tools on a project!
Photoshop :: Can I Have A Custom Toolbar On PS CS3 ?
Aug 26, 2007I'm still in the process of migrating myself from Corel Photopaint to Photoshop CS3 (on XP) and there's only one thing remaining I don't know how to do.
On Photopaint I could add/remove icons from toolbars and make my own toolbars. You could add an icon that represented any menu option. So I had my toolbar setup with File Save, File Save As, Copy, Cut, Paste, Remove Selection, Crop to Mask, Flatten Image, etc etc. All the things I did regularly were always visible and just one click. I know all things are available with keyboard shortcuts but I usually tend to avoid them as I use so many different applications. I use the obvious basic ones (ctrl-s, ctrl-o, ctrl-f4, ctrl-p, ctrl-c/x/v etc) but anything that isn't standard across apps I don't use.
Are custom toolbars possible in PS CS3? As with most things with PS so far,

Apr 25, 2008This is hopefully something simple that I am just missing, but am panicking! I can toggle the tools bar on and off, but all that appears is the little slice of blue with the feather on - no tools, and no obvious way to get them back! I'm slightly freaking out as have a mammoth design project on, and whilst I have re-downloaded a trial version its only got a few days left on it and i'll never finish in that time!

May 23, 2010I have Win 7 and just got the CS5 Premium installed. Everything is fine in the other programs but Photoshop's toolbar and swatch pallette are so small that it is very hard to work with. The menu bar(file, edit, etc) all across the top look like they are are a 2 pt. font. They are also very hard to read. I tried setting it to large in the preferences but it didn'tchange anything.
