View 1 RepliesOn websites you see that a header logo will be in 5 parts so it loads faster. Or the page is a photo and it is in parts like a puzzle, but when it loads it is 1 picture.
How do I do this in Photoshop CS with dimentions of each block?
I have an insert that I'd like to split into several layers. Is it possible to do this with the split tool, or is it limited to only one "split tool" at a time?
In the picture, the wireframe is the 'insert', the letters indicative of cavities cut into the insert. The purple sketch lines would be typical of where the solid part would be split into multiple parts.

Is it possible to split a parts list onto multiple pages/sheets? My only solution is to place the parts list three separate times on three separate sheets and on the first sheet hide items 11-30, then on the second sheet hide items 1-10 and 21-30, and then on the third sheet hide items 1-20. Is there any other way besides investing in a larger printer and larger paper?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have made a sheet metal part in inventor (see image). I have made the part as it will be in the finished production state. The problem is that the part is impossible to bend from one single plate, so it has to be made from several plates and welded together.
What i want to do is to remove the four corner plates (denoted with red arrows in the image) and make a flat pattern for these separately.
The reason i made these corner plates in my model is to get the assembled part 100% correct. if i dont, inventor doesnt make the angles that i need between the flanges in the top.
Is there a way to split this part into multiple parts? I would like to split the part on the corners, leaving a small gap for welding.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI would like to take face pictures and split the faces in half. After that, I would like to use the left side of the face and match it to the reverse left side face together(having 2 left sides which will look like a normal face after the 2 sides will be brought together).
So:
1. picture of a human face (head)
2. slipt the face in half
3. remove the right side
4. highlight the left side and make a reverse image
5. put together the real left side and the reverse left side in one face
How that is possible with Photoshop?
I'm sure I've seen how to do this somewhere, not sure if it's photoshop or flash. I want to split a picture into multiple small jpeg tiles so that I can have one thumbnail picture and a higher res one used to zoom.
Anyone know what this is called, the package used to achieve it or where I should start?
I had an jpg thats 1024x1024 and I wanted to split it into 4 seperate files of 256x256.

View 1 Replies View RelatedA while back I took a Photoshop class and remember a lesson on where you could select a region of an image and save it for the web with a high quality and select another region of the same image and save it for the web with a low quality, so that the focal point was saved with a high quality and the background was saved with a low quality. I have no idea where my notes are from this class and can not remember at all how to do this. Can anyone direct me to a tutorial about this?

And is it black over white or vice-versa?

So far I have selected all of the background and hit delete, which appears to have deleted all of the white background as it shows up transparent.

I am looking for a quick solution of numbering around 75 things on a picture. I want to specify links of a screenshot using numbers. The way I imagine this, it would be a number with a circle around it, however, if I do this manually, it would take foreever, and I'm very limited in time. I am looking for a quick solution.

View 9 Replies View RelatedHow do i cut out multiple parts of an image for example if i want to isolate a tree from the background and cut out the gaps in the foliage as well as the outline.
I have been using refine edge and the quick select tool and getting great results, its creates a layer each time but i cant work out how to show all the cut outs i can only seem to see one at a time instead of all the transparent background, i assume its something to do with layers and masking perhaps.
I have an image that I rendered in 3ds Max 2013 using iRay. There is a visible horizon line present in the image that I am trying to edit out. However, adjusting the levels, curve or exposure does absolutely nothing to the part of the image I am trying to edit. They do however work on the parts im not trying to edit. I'm sure this explains very little, so here is a lower res version showing whats up.
Try to edit the levels on the TV layer; the matte shadows and horizon line stay the same, while the TV adjusts as expected.[URL]...
I have an image file that was created in Photoshop. It was sliced into buttons and parts of buttons. I am trying to reassemble all the parts in Photoshop elements. I drag and drop the parts onto the canvas. I turned on the grid. I noticed that each part I drop onto the canvas creates a new tab and what looks like a new layer. I don't want this. I would like to import all the parts of the button images and reassemble them on one canvas. I have imported the images into the organizer but it seems like I can only drag and drop the image parts one at a time onto the canvas.
