I have read all the help docs, online stuff, and searched this forum and I am still perplexed.
I have CS2 Premium with version cue turned on. I make a photoshop image but when I go to the File > Save a version, its greyed out. What steps am I missing?
I cannot save my previous files created on a student version to an upgraded 2014 version. I tried changing the save as path in the options menu, but no luck. I am able to open the file in the upgraded version but it states that it will open as a student version. Also I cannot copy and paste anything from the student version to the upgraded one. Not sure why.
I have photoshop CS for windows. I am trying to send a friend a file. He has photoshop 7 for windows. Whenever he opens my file it shows up as flattened.
What can I do to save my photoshop file as an older version? I know that you can do it with illustrator.
Just upgraded from 9 to 12. When I edit a photo, it will not save into a version set, even to the save to version set box is check. Nor can I find the edited version anywhere.
How can I default the Save in Version Set check box to unchecked so I do not have to remember to unchecked it when I save. I _never_ want to create a version set.
I am using PSE-11. I have been editing many pictures (cropping and enhancing) before I send them for printing. I select 6 or 8 images and send them all to the PSE-11 Editor. When I have done all the editing, I select CLOSE ALL and apply my answers to the first file to all of them. I want them to be in Version sets with the originals, and most of them are correct. However some images are stored, with the words 'edited-1' added, but they are not in Version sets, nor in the catalog. The Organizer tells me that it has found new files. Also, when saving some of the images, PSE-11 freezes and is shown as not responding for several minutes.
Yesterday, the Organizer froze for several minutes soon after I started using it.I am using my desktop PC: HP m9452p with Intel Core-2 Quad Q8200 processor, 8 GB RAM, 750 GB hard disk, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
I'm having trouble with PE 12. It is not saving new versions of files in version sets even though I select the option to do so when I save-as from the editor.
Also, when I create a new file, say a photomerge panorama, it does not include it into elements even though I have selected the option to do so.
Having edited photographs in editor and saving the edited photograph, it says processing but does not save the edited version and i am left with the original.
I am running cs6 on both PC and Mac. On my pc if I save a Photoshop file on it as a save as, it does not open the file immediately. I have to close the original file, find the file then open it. Very time consuming and also confusing if you are working fast. On my Mac if i save a document in Photoshop, doing a save as, it saves the doc, and opens it right there and you just continue to work.
I use CorelDRAW CDRs in Ventura Publisher 10, which cannot accept CorelDRAW file versions beyond version 11.
I have CorelDRAW X3 which allows you to specify a previous version, like CorelDRAW 11, but it is a pain to change the version to 11 every time I save the file. I cannot find a setting to make X3 default to version 11 when saving.
Is there some way to make CorelDRAW X3 default to CorelDRAW X11 when saving?
Having trouble with AutoCAD 2012 when saving to earlier versions? I can't save it down to any other version except for 2012, without the system crashing completely. It seems to be files that have aerial xrefs in them.
Also, from time to time we get the crash when editing MText.
I have 106 files that I have to save as version 2004 for a contractor. They have been able to open all of the converted files except one. I have run an audit and found nothing. I have purged everything and still no luck.
It would be really nice to be able to save a family as a previous version. There are so many things we've created in Revit Arch 2012 that we can't use when an older drawing comes up again. I know we should upgrade the .rvt to the newest version, but that's not how it works where I work. In my backwards company we do things the hard way, so for people like us, it would be nice to just save the .rfa as Revit Arch 2011 or 2010 etc. even if some of the stuff doesn't transfer, the attributes would.
I am using Corel X5 and need to save back to version 10 or 12. Even though I change the settings when I "save as" the file remains an X5. Unfortunately the engraving company I use cannot open the X5.
I know Autocad can be set to always save to a particular version number, but can it be set so it always saves back to whichever format the drawing loaded was originally? If I load a 2004, it saves as 2004. If I load 2007, it saves as 2007, etc?
I am using Autocad LT 2012 on Windows XP at my office computer. I Save a file in an earlier version e.g. 2004 or 2007 and email to home computer, Autocad LT 2008 on Windows Vista. The file will not open. Message is that the file has been created by a later version. THis has not been my experience with earlier versions.
Can’t save 24 x 36 ai version 9 file when opened in CS6, even when opened as an outline format. I was able to save the file when reduced to 8 x 11, once saved I resized it back to 24 x 36 but it still didn’t work.
I am trying to take a 3" sq 11 gauge tube that will have a pie shaped cut out of the tube leaving only one wall remaining. The tube then will be bent until the two sections are mated and welded. The tube is going to be processed on a tube laser to have the features cut out.
The problem is when I bend the tube in inventor I need a straight version of the tube for cad/cam programming and fabrication and not have it affect the bend feature that is placed in the weldment. I do no want to derive a part and save a separate version in the vault. I would like it all to be in one model.
I try to create a view representation and name it "straight" and suppress the bend feature in the new representation but it changes in both representations of the part.
Is there a way to have two different view representations of the part (suppressed bend feature, unsuppressed bend feature) that I can switch between?
My AutoCAD 2013 crashed and as a result the recovered file was saved in 2013 format, instead of my automatic save profile option version set to AutoCAD 2000.
As we have other users in the office without AutoCAD 2013, how do i change the default crash save to a newer version (ie. AutoCAD 2000)?
I am using Autocad 2013, and need to have lisp wblock to a 2010 format file. Is there a way I can force it to, without the trouble of opening the file dialog box and setting the format there?
I installed the retina display-optimized update to my purchased (non-Creative Cloud) version of Photoshop Design Standard (via the Adobe Updater app that pops up in my menu bar only when updates are available), but now when Photoshop launches, I get Photoshop Extended (and it's a trial version). Is this a known issue? Will I need to reinstall Photoshop?
I updated CS4 (student version) to CS5.5 commercial version. The brushes, patterns, shapes and styles I had installed in the CS4 Photoshop version were not loaded into the new version. I no longer have the original files of these assets (or customizations).
After the installation of Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11 on my new system, the catalogs of version 10 do not appear for the conversion to version 11; my 2 catalogs are installed on a LACIE-2BIG NAS system.
Elements Organizer 11.0.0.0 Version principale : 11.0 (20120830.r.32025)
I downloaded and paid for the upgrade version of CorelDraw X6 because I have X3,X4 and X5. I have installed it already but I went to reinstall on my desktop PC as I wiped my hard drive back to factory state, CorelDRAW no longer gives the upgrade option.
On start up it gives the following message ( see below ) as a 30 day trial.
