I have photoshop CS for windows. I am trying to send a friend a file. He has photoshop 7 for windows. Whenever he opens my file it shows up as flattened.
What can I do to save my photoshop file as an older version? I know that you can do it with illustrator.
How can I install a recent version of Photoshop Elements and keep the albums set up in the older version?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed Photoshop Elements 11 today on to my new Windows 7 computer, but have been unable to access the photos, categories and slideshows which I had created in Elements 5 on my old Windows XP computer. The Elements 5 ones were copied from my old hard disk to the new one - without using any version of Photoshop in the copying process. I believe that all the Adobe folders and files were copied, but I cannot work out which folder contains the photos.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed Elements 11, but didn't uninstall Elements 9. I went to add photos and they went to the elements 9 organizer and not 11. So i uninstalled 9 and tried to put the photos in again. It sends a message that they already exist in the organizer, but they don't. Also, now when i hook up the camera it wont recognize any new photos and won't reinstall into the 11 organizer.

The installation of Lightroom 4.3 stops with an error message, reading "The older version of Adobe Lightroom 4.3 cannot be removed. Apply to your technical support group".This "older version" is probably a trial version, I had before, which I had to uninstall "by hand" (cancelling files and registry items) since a regular uninstall procedure didn't work.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have drawings (some with more than one sheet) from inventor 10. Now I like to open it in inventor 2013. The first sheet is showing, but I can't open the other sheets. I can print them, but I can see a listing of it or go to the sheet.
FYI, until December 2012 I worked in Inventor 10, now I have inventor 2013, so everything is new to me.
I use a machine called a shopbot to cut wood projects. Students draw the parts in Inventor, place them into a idw and use the save copy feature to save it as a DXF file. The shopbot uses a progam called partworks v2 and it reads DXF files. This worked great for the past few years until this summer when we installed the 2013 inventor on our computers. I contacted Shopbot and they said other people are having the same problem and the solution for most of them was to save the idw file as an older version. Last year we had AutoDesk 2011 and it worked fine. how I can save a 2013 idw as a 2011 idw?

The doors are still there but are not "anchored". Is there a way to fix this easily? I also lost everything out of my door schedule. I know I will get my schedule back when the doors get anchored back to the wall.

This may happen after when I open parts from Inventor 2011 (maybe 2010) into 2012, then create a new part. I would expect the 2012 App Options to be the master, so I don't know why a legacy part would be allowed to change those settings.

When trying to save the user gets the following error message "One or more objects in the drawing cannot be saved to the specified format. The operation was not completed and no file was created."
I did some searching in the discussion groups and it appears that this is a known/common issue with autcad lt 2013. Is there a work around to saving it in a format that older autocad applications can view?
in my autocad 2014 save as in 2007 & 2004 format system is not responding and not able to finish. but when i save in 2013 and 2010 format is ok. i install same copy of autocad in my laptop its working good.

I cannot save my previous files created on a student version to an upgraded 2014 version. I tried changing the save as path in the options menu, but no luck. I am able to open the file in the upgraded version but it states that it will open as a student version. Also I cannot copy and paste anything from the student version to the upgraded one. Not sure why.
