I could do this in earlier versions, but it doesn't seem to work in Photoshop CS-6. How do U reposition a floating dock in CS6 so it is anchored to the upper right edge of the window?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi have photoshop CS6 in a mac os x operative system and when i drag one image from the tabs to make it as a floating window in order to keep that image as a reference for the painting that i am working on, that floating window disappears behind my PS CS6 window like if it was part of another program when i click out of it, why is this happening.
I want to keep that floating window open all the time by the file that i working on.
1st Bug:Iam using a HP Z6100PS 60in plotter and when Iam using page setup to print something, it keeps using the default print size... For exemple :
Printer default print size : 24x60
I want to print a 80x60 but Photoshop send a 24x60 to the printer... even if I entered 80x60... And the bug is for any sizes...
2nd bug:My Windows 7 64bits Taskbar is at the top of my screen. All the documents iam opening in Photoshop are snapping to the top of the screen... super annoying. But when I place the Win Taskbar at the bottom of the screen, no more bug...
The command line window moved from the default location at the bottom of the screen to a floating position while I was working on a drawing yesterday. I don't know what I did but can't move or resize to get it back down to the bottom where it belongs. I can get it to dock to the left and right or float but nothing else. It doesn't behave like the the other palettes n that I can't seem to drag it anywhere.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy layers dock has gone missing. According to the list in my 'Windows' tab, it claims to be open. I have looked all over the screen. I have switched on and off again etc. I have even deliberately thrown other docks off the screen to see if they come back to normal screen area if I close and reopen Gimp- and they do. so it isn't lost off screen.
I have unistalled and re-insalled and it has not come back.
1. Go to Windows>recently closed docks - Mine says 'empty'
2. File>create docks - I don't have this option- mine choices are 'new', 'create', 'open', 'open as layers', ''open location', 'open recent'... then a few which pertain to having an image open that you're working on... then 'quit'.
3. I went to Youtube and the tutorials on how to make your Gimp like Photoshop and how to get back closed windows also haven't worked.
I'm on Gimp 2.6.
When I open Illustrator CS6 on my Mac/10.7, there are two toolbars locked up top, which is fine. I want to dock my illustrator window to those like I can in InDesign. How do I do that?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem with my properties window or floating palette. When I select an object, such as a "line", my properties palette refreshes itself for about 3 seconds. When I hit esc, or deselect the line, it takes another 3 seconds to refresh itself. You can even see the properties palette start at the top and go blank as it travels downward. Very slow process, I can not get anything done. IF I close my properties palette, it does not have the delay, but I can not work without it. When I reboot, it works fine for about 5-6 selections, then jams back up.

When I switch work spaces still the same result.
I'm trying to change the tabs on a paragraph of text but my tab window floats. I need it to be tied to the block of text. At the moment, if I move across the page, the tab window will no longer be above the text I'm trying to edit.

Edge Animate - Exception An error occurred. Please save your work and restart Edge Animate.
It happens quite frequently (~7/10 right-clicks)
When I try and move a corner of my open document with the hand tool to the center of the document window in CS5 when zoomed out, it stops at the edges and will not move inward any further. It is sometimes more convenient to be able to work on a zoomed in corner of a document when it is centered in the document window. If I go to the rotate tool and set a slight angle, I can then move the document anywhere in the window at any magnification! Is there a setting that is locking the document at the edge of the screen when zoomed out?

View 8 Replies View RelatedUsing InDesign CC, I want to wrap text around a graphic that is anchored into the paragraph. I'm able to do this if the graphic is anchored into the left side of the paragraph by choosing Inline or Above Line and adjusting the Y distance.
However, I need to anchor the graphic on the right side of the paragraph so that the right edge of the graphic aligns to the right edge of the paragraph, as shown below. Is that possible?
I have a minor problem with creating some polygons on the edge of the window - inner and outer side. As you can see here: I need to connect neighbouring vertex and I do not want to do it manually by creating polygons one by one. Isn´t there any modificator in max I could use to do that automatically??

i'm working on a site that i'd like to automatically scale to fit the browser window, without any scrolling and while preserving its aspect ratio.
my client is very particular about the design & does not want the width & height of the images & text to change like they do in a responsive site- he just wants the site to scale to fit in a browser window.
When the animation is running, if I select another tab, the animation will stop. I would like it to continue. How do I do this?

is there a way to set up the profile so it is anchored to horizontal geometry from certain point. that way when i change the alignment in the middle it won't cause profile to be shifted because station changes (length changed) while the vpi stations stay the same as before.
i can make a program in .net to specify a station and move all the vpi station by that amount which can be obtained easily by taking the length before you modify minus length after you modify.
Pretty common problem. it's not that hard to do in really the logic is defined. i have this alignment that's 60km long that's only one portion. hecka lots of horzontal curve and vertical curves. over 100.

Is there any way to resize and reposition an image on a 3D shape without affecting the shape itself, or is it just a process of trial and error, depending on the size and position of the image before you select New Mesh From Layer?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed CS 6 yesterday. My system runs 64 bit Win 7. In Preferences > Interface, as I did in CS 5, I unchecked both Open Documents as Tabs and Enable Floating Document Window. However, unlike CS 5, in CS 6 images 'insist' on positioning themselves in the upper left corner of CS 6 and will cover both the options bar and the tool bar. For example, this will happen after opening an image if I try to move it or if I enlarge the image window (CTRL-0). If I open two images and try to move one so I can see both at the same time, the one I try to move will not stay where I put it but instead will reposition itself to the upper left, and cover the options bar and menu bar.
this makes working in CS 6 difficult and inconvenient. I assume this is a bug, and wonder if there are any workarounds or other solutions. To this point, I have not yet uninstalled and re-installed CS 6.
Currently using 2013. In 2011 or 2012 when Anchoring Right (or Left) a palette Auto-hide has behavior that seems odd to me. If you click Auto-hide on an anchored palette to open it (and presumably keep it open) it detaches from the anchor. And then when you close it you lose the palette on the anchor. To me this wastes time. I'd like to keep that palette open to work a bit and not have to hassle with it by not having it open, but at the same time don't want to waste time later calling it up and anchoring it again. Is this still happening in 2013?
