Photoshop :: Pasting Leelawadee (Thai) Font From Excel To CS6

We are using Office 2013 and PS CS6. We have a problem where we copy and paste Thai text from an Excel doc into Photoshop CS6. The text copies over fine but there are small double stacked characters on some letters that merge when copied. Here's an example showing Excel on the bottom and PS CS6 on the top. Notice the red character in the Excel doc. The small double stack characters merge once copied into PS CS6:
How do I get these charactes to appear correctly?

I cut and pasted a pie chart from MS Excel into PS, but when it prints, the imagery looks very low res, with jagged lines and text. Is there anything I can do differently, or is this a limitation due to Excel?

I have just upgraded from CS3 to CS5 and I'm running into a major issue. When I used to copy charts from Excel into Illustrator CS3 it would paste in as vector artwork, but now with CS5 it pastes in as a jpeg image.
I'd like the excel charts to paste in as they used to with CS3 as vector artwork with paths, strokes and text.

I am using Corel Draw X5. When I paste an Excel graph into Corel the resolution looks terrible. I can paste this same graph into most other programs and it looks fine. No matter what I do and no matter which special paste command I use I am not happy with the resolution of the graph - you can actually see the pixels. When I convert to PDF you can still see the pixels.

I'm trying to paste in things like "N.G.", "Top of Bank", "Edge of Water" all at certain points to annotate the topography. I've tried the following:
text N.G 800,90
text Top of Bank 820,90
But I keep getting the prompt for annotation angle and it gets stuck there so I tried:
text N.G 800,90 90
text Top of Bank 820,90 90
But the same thing occurs. I need the text to be vertical. I've done some searching here, but haven't come up with much. I don't want to resort to creating blocks and importing the attributes as I'm sure it's much easier than that.

I tried many times to paste excel table into autocad using paste special/paste link/autocad entities/. The first problem is that the table is coming out with text all over the place, not properly formatted. When I click on the table it's covered by some kind of frame or hatch-like. I am using 2010 Office pro Excel. See attached.

So I have a bunch of files that were made in MS Excel using Chinese characters in SimSun font. After downloading some language packs the Excel file shows up correctly on my PC. I want to copy and paste the file into Corel. It works fine except some characters show up as a question mark. Most characters (80%) show up fine however.
I have Windows XP, Office 2003, Corel X5, and no understanding of the Chinese language.

I have an issue with copying cells containing text from Microsoft Excel 2011 for Mac and pasting them into Illustrator CS5. I select the whole cell(s) from Excel, open a blank Ai document and, without anything selected so the format is preserved, I paste the cells.
The issue comes with the resulting copy of the cells in Ai. The type which was bold in Excel is bold in Ai... but not really. Ai pastes the bolded text as not bold, but then makes a copy of that same text, puts a stroke on it, then places that over the regular text, so it looks bold. But now I have two copies of the same word, one regular and one with a stroke on it right on top of one another.
This normally wouldn't be an issue but I have to edit this info in Ai later - and there's a second problem. When I paste the bold text from Excel in Ai, the resulting word is broken up into individual text blocks for each letter. Instead of preserving the whole word as one editable text block, I now have to click on each letter to change it.
There is a catch 22 to these problems: These cells that I am copying from include bolded and regular text, and the regular text pasted into Ai without any problems (even the text blocks are preserved). So it's the bold text that is causing the problems
I have a feeling this has to do with how the individual cells are formated in Excel, but I have to copy data from many different cells made by many different people, so I am at a loss of what to do.
I have include a screen shot of what's going on with cells after I paste them in Ai. I have moved the oulined "5" up so you can see the regular "5" below it.

We are using AutoCAD Architecture 2013 and AutoCAD LT 2013 in our office-just upgraded. Now, whenever we go into a drawing that uses the Archstyle (Shx) font and try to copy or paste any text, the font changes to simplex. We have to exit completely out of AutoCAD to recover the font.

Is there a correlation between the font size I use in an Excel spread sheet & the font size on the imported table on the drawing? My spread sheet font size is 8 point. I seem to recall that a point is 1/72" so my 8 point text should be 0.111" high on the drawing. When I import the table I get text that is 0.0556" high - looks like half the height of my spread sheet text. I tried doubling the spread sheet text to 16 point hoping it would end up half size on my drawing (0.111") but this time it is 0.125" high. The scaling of imported table text is inconsistent. I know I can change the properties of the drawing table to get what I want but it would be easier if there was a fixed relationship between Excel & AutoCAD table text height.

When I link in an excel document to my model all parameters in that excel gets the unit (mm).
How can I change this? For instance I want some of the parameters to be an angle.

Recently I have been trying to build table driven products and ipart tables, but when I copy a member to create a new part number, upon exiting the iassembly author I get the following message "excel installation is required for this operation. failed to launch excel". I have a fully functional version of 2010 Excel installed which has been used so it should be recognized in the windows registry. I am running Windows 8 and Autodesk Inventor 2014.

I have AutoCAD 2013 and often "paste special" excel files that automatically update when the excel file changes.The problem I'm running into is I work with a person who has uses an older version of CAD 2004, so I always save to the older format for him.
When I etransmit, I be sure to add the excel file, but when he opens the dwg, only the outline of the excel appears in his dwg, no content.

When I make a text, and if I like to change the font style how can I do this with out having to click on the new font,
every time I choose a different font I have to click on that font, and if I don't like I have to click on a different one
I like to do it like in Flash MX I move the pointer over the list of fonts and may text change the font style with out click on it

We have a whole bunch of spreadsheets that we use for calculations and parts of those spreadsheets are linked to a ton of CAD Drawings via data links.
We would like to be able to deliver the CAD drawings to the client without having to send our calculation books (just the output tables). In other words, is it possible to embed the table data and remove the excel link for the final delivery?

I'm having a weird problem with pasting text into Photoshop. It had been working fine until today. Here is how I usually do it (and it won't work now):
Copy text from email or web page into basic text editor. Make any changes necessary.
Copy text from text editor.
Paste into Photoshop text field.
Today when I try to paste the text into Photoshop nothing happens. It pastes fine into other programs such as Illustrator (and even this form.) And it will copy and paste from Illustrator to Photoshop (though it comes through styled which is not what I want.)
I've run my usual repair programs but that didn't clear up the problem. how to fix this?

I have "Ask When Pasting" checked in Color Settings, but I just realized that images are being converted without asking. Is this a bug in CS6? not maybe there is something wrong with my preferences? I have to rebuild a document because the base image was an FPO in sRGB that I forgot to convert to my CMYK space. Usually I would be asked if I want to convert when I drag a new layer over which would catch my mistake.
I tried resetting the dialog by going to Prefences>General>Reset all warning dialogs, which didn't fix it. Howerver, I'm not sure that the reset in Gereral Preferences also affects the Color Settings preferences.I also tried closing PS and throwing out Color Settings.csf from my User Preferences. This didn't fix it either. I've never had Color Settings go bad, so I'm not 100% sure this is the right file to remove.
I first saw this when my base document was in sRGB and the layer I dragged over was in "Web Coated SWOP 2006 Grade 3 Paper". I just tried it in the opposite direction with the same results.Photoshop CS6 Extended, Version 13.0 x64. Mac OS10.7.4. 17" MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz Quad Core i7, 16GB ram.

I'm using a font called WoD (World of Darkness) - it's basically a dingbat font. I'm using Charmap to copy the icon I need - its number is Alt + 0162 or 0xA2. When I paste into Word or Wordpad, the icon comes up correctly. When I try and paste it into Photoshop (CS2), it comes up as the same character as 0x3F.
The pasting fails whether or not I have NumLock on, and the same character (3F) comes up when I try to copy/paste or type (using Alt) any character greater than Alt + 0128.

I want to hilite an area in a layer to copy and then PASTE into that EXACT same layer, (preferably with the MOVE tool selected so that I can then move that new pasted selection around), is there a way to do this?
The only PASTE commands I see are PASTE (which pastes AS NEW IMAGE) and PASTE INTO (which does I DONT KNOW WHAT!) Some kinda paste to new layer and auto create a mask

When I use Quick Mask for masking an area that I want to copy and paste, then go to standard edit mode, I see the marching ants, so far so good, except when I paste the Image into another image it's looks too be about 25% transparent.
If I use lasso tool too do same thing, no problem, no
transparency..
What's happening? I've reloaded the program twice now,
problem still exists.

I've a problem with "DWGtoPDF"-Plotter of Acad2013. I give the textstyle "arial" in Acad and plot it to PDF. In the PDF-Sheet i see the Fontname "ArialMT" in the document-options. I want to give the PDF's away and fear, that he gets an error while opening.

We copy a lot of existing elements from illustrator files into existing Photoshop documents. The dimensions of the Illustrator files are much larger, so we've always pasted into Photoshop and it resizes to the smaller photoshop document.
When I paste into the existing Photoshop document in CS5, I need the image/object to resize to my Photoshop document, instead of pasting in at the actual/original size.
Is there something I can change in preferences? Or a way to do this?
