When I try and open images using image sequence, it does not open all the consecutively numbered files. It only opens about half of them 471 or 873. Why is this? I have copied the files, batch renmaed a few times, and still it does not open all 873. I can tell this by the short length and when I go to export it only says "files up to 471" and it is not the entire folder.
View 7 RepliesThe list was going great on all three levels until level 8.2.2 (that's what it should show), but I am showing 6.2.1. I'm pretty sure I have all the correct levelled Paragraph Styles.
This video shows the gist of it. One thing I have noticed is when clicking on the 8.2.1 (the last correct numbering in the list) the option 'clear overrides in selection' is available from the Paragraph Styles window.This is not available on the faulty 6.2.1. so I'm hoping this is playing an important role.
I tried adding another Paragraph Style and resetting that number but what's really strange is that it stays on 6.2.1. and I can't see the point of creating another paragraph style on whilst staying on level 3.
A few months ago, I installed a trial for Photoshop 5 to create a few gifs. About a month after the trial ended, I acquired the full version of Photoshop 6 to make some more gifs. However, the option to load as an image sequence is not present as it was before:As I recall, the tick box to load as an image sequence should be at the bottom of the window.

When I hover the mouse over the file my image appears but disappears again when the cursor moves out of the file. I cannot work on any file. I have just loaded up a second copy of my CS5 onto my PC at home. The original copy is on my pc at work.

"Could not complete this operation becuase an assertion has failed."
If I open the file in PS first and then switch to Image ready it will work but then I egt the same error message when trying to save it.
I have re-installed ps but still no luck.
Normally when I edit, I use pluralize, which creates a sequence in which I can take notes. I usually then drag that sequence into my source monitor, create in and out point and place that into my final timeline. For some reason, Premiere is not letting me drag the file I need into the source monitor. Is there something with the settings off?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi recovered .nef raw image files from a dead external drive. i now can not open them in any program. the message i get in CS6 is 'could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file.'
originally the extension was .NEF now it is .nef- i dont know if that makes a difference, but i hope the file is somewhat corrupted but still fixable.
usually the .NEF file has a .xmp sidecar file with it. these ended up separated from the original .NEF when the files were corrupted, and i cant match them up.
I opened 33 sources as "open as Sequence" behind each other and after doing that double clicking on the source or any source isn't loading it into the source viewer. There is no icon next to the source indicating that it isn't a source. After the fourth selection was open as Sequence. the one that was opened as the first is recycled and the Sequence Icon disappears from in-front of it. So there is only four icons at any given time in the list.

I've got my sequence of shots, edited in LR - and exported to a new folder.
Using file Open, I select the folder with the images in, click on the first image only... but the Sequence box is greyed out, and I can't use it - or make the time lapse.
I'm using CS5 (Windows) and I'd like to export a video as an image sequence BUT I want to define the frame interval (e.g. export ONLY every 5th frame and ignore the rest). I guess it's possible to manually delete those frames that I don't need after exporting them; however, I have thousands of frames and it work if I could automate it.
Is it possible to do this in Photoshop or should I look for another software?
I need to create a clip of a sketch being executed stroke by stroke - tool recording seems to give me this possibility, but how do I save the palyback as an image sequence?

I'm using Maya 2013 SP2 on a MacBook Pro running 19.8.2. When trying to load 32-bit floating point OpenEXR or Tiff files for displacement maps I will invariably get the following error:

The proper OpenEXRLoader and tiffFloatReader bundles are loaded in the Plug-in Manager and the very same files open without issue on Maya 2013 on my Win7 machine. It seems this is OSX specific.
I cannot open Nikon D800 RAW image files in lightoom 2. My raw files will not import into lightroom (it imports jpegs, but not the RAW files) I am using Lightroom 2, version 2.7, camera Raw 5.7.

The image displayed shows the various components of a water distribution system for a single home which collects rain water and deposits it in a storage tank. The only text that I have written in photoshop is the title and the web address.
