View 1 RepliesWhen editing a multicamera sequence, I keep running into this weird phenomenon where I can't stop the playback. I hit the space bar, start making cuts, then when I want to stop I hit the space bar again and nothing happens. The sequence keeps playing, sometimes stopping after a couple a minute or so, sometimes not until the end of the sequence.
The nested multi-cam sequence has just 4 streams of DSLR video. The machine I'm using has plenty of CPU power and memory and an nVidia GPU, so I'd be surprised if resources are a problem. The source media is on a Raid-0 array.
I've tried switching the resolution to 1/4, but this makes no difference. I have several layers of audio but have solo'ed just one to see if that would work. No.
Though I am a long time CorelDraw user I've recently download VideoStudio Pro trial. The problem I am having is importing a sequence of animation images (360 total at 30frames/sec) The images where render and exported from Lightwave3D (jpg)
The only way I found to import the images was through the capture button and that worked fine. Once that was done imported VS editor and exported to several formats...
the problem is the sequence is choppy and not smooth it is a wee bit choppy the 30 frames/sec imports fine but the final play back is not smooth as it should be. If I export directly to video from Lightwave the playback is smooth. I'd render direct from LW but LW is is a wee bit wonky at time when writing direct to video format. LW prefers direct to image then you would composite in a 3rd party program
I tried VS video at 60 frames, 15 frames that made no difference at all the same unsmooth playback
How do I import a sequence of images at 30/sec so then export so that the playback is smooth.
I am trying to reduce my playback resolution and the information you provide in the help section does not match my screen so I cannot find the setting options for this
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to export all frames of an animation at once as a sequence of gif files? (rather than going to file-->save for each frame)
A related question: is there a way to select multiple objects on different frames for easy editing?
I'm running elements 11 (on windows 8 pro), and I noticed when I click on a video, (the thumbnail is there in organiser), and hit "play" all I get is grey screen, the timeline runs fine, theres sound, just no image.
View 4 Replies View Relatedhere are many people who feel that there are better formats available. One of the such format is the animated PNG (APNG). Despite its advantages over GIF, APNG has been rarely heard by content creators. One postulation is the lack of authoring tools and browser support, hence the lack of accessibility in creating such animations. I would like to ask if the future version of Photoshop will ever allow the creation of APNG files.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI really need to find a way to take a numbered image sequence and, through some File Browser magic, open them all into one PS document as Layers. Now, I noticed that the Photomerge option does just this, but then goes on to rearrange the layers into a panorama which I don't want.
View 2 Replies View Related I'm trying to create a timelapse sequence using CS4 Extended. Im using an iMac with Snow Leopard... LR4, and CS4Extended.
I've got my sequence of shots, edited in LR - and exported to a new folder.
Using file Open, I select the folder with the images in, click on the first image only... but the Sequence box is greyed out, and I can't use it - or make the time lapse.
I'm using CS5 (Windows) and I'd like to export a video as an image sequence BUT I want to define the frame interval (e.g. export ONLY every 5th frame and ignore the rest). I guess it's possible to manually delete those frames that I don't need after exporting them; however, I have thousands of frames and it work if I could automate it.
Is it possible to do this in Photoshop or should I look for another software?
A few months ago, I installed a trial for Photoshop 5 to create a few gifs. About a month after the trial ended, I acquired the full version of Photoshop 6 to make some more gifs. However, the option to load as an image sequence is not present as it was before:As I recall, the tick box to load as an image sequence should be at the bottom of the window.
View 11 Replies View RelatedWhen I try and open images using image sequence, it does not open all the consecutively numbered files. It only opens about half of them 471 or 873. Why is this? I have copied the files, batch renmaed a few times, and still it does not open all 873. I can tell this by the short length and when I go to export it only says "files up to 471" and it is not the entire folder.

After selecting 2 (or more) files and right clicking and choosing Multi camera sequence from source, I drag the newly created sequence on to the time line but all I get is the two files on the time line stacked over one another. the sequence never gets created.
View 3 Replies View Relatedwhat setting, the end mp4 video will always have black vertical margins. I never have this problem when generating videos with Quicktime using the same source.
The source dimension is 4256x2832, and specifying this as output size will also create the bars.
I am thinking of purchasing VideoStudio pro X3, but I can't seem to find out from the website if it will do exactly what I need.
I want to use an image sequence of an animation created in Lightwave 3D, bring it into VideoStudio and then create a BluRay disc with it on. I am hoping to do this in one go rather than convert it to a movie file first.
How do you convert a sequence of images, say PNG files to a movie in VideoStudio Pro X3?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI tried working on PNG image sequences instead of video footages.the problem is Smoke recognizes the fps as 59.94, and i want to make it down to 25fps.i tried using PAL.cfg, the frame rate did change to 25fps but when the sequences are imported in the timeline, its still 59.94fps.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am using After effects cs6 and when i try to choose a format there is no option to save as an image sequence. This goes for any clip I try to render. The picture below is where I am having the problem, under the format tab. There are only about 10 options under the tab and image sequence is not one of them.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm working with a JPEG image sequence, and have deleted frames frames at various points before bringing them into AE. Instead of skipping the missing frames, AE renders missing media frames in place of the ones I deleted, instead of just skipping them. Is there a way around this without having to manually rename all of the images so there are no missing numbers?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I import images as a sequence in AE CC (v.12.2.1.5), I select an image, then check the 'JPEG Sequence'. Sometimes I have folders that contain missing files, in that I case I also check 'Force Alphabetical Order'.
However, it seems that this is not working correctly now. Some part of the sequence is correct, but there are also some images that appear at random places in the sequence. Is this a bug? What should I do to avoid this?
I have a huge series of PNG images (name 1, name 2 ...) and I want to import them individually not as a sequence. I also like to set them to a specific length, if possible.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter designing, i try to save the image by clicking save as, but it does not trigger any thing. even if i click save alone. it's still the same thing. you can see that the right side of border it is not centered because the left side border is thicker than right side, here is the part of the action
you can see that i move the image after i place it because its not on the center so adjusting it makes it at the center but the Translate part is not equal.
A while back I took a Photoshop class and remember a lesson on where you could select a region of an image and save it for the web with a high quality and select another region of the same image and save it for the web with a low quality, so that the focal point was saved with a high quality and the background was saved with a low quality. I have no idea where my notes are from this class and can not remember at all how to do this. Can anyone direct me to a tutorial about this?
