GIMP :: Change Perspective Of Image?
Sep 28, 2012I have a photo of a coffee table that's on an angle. I want to rotate this table so it looks like you're standing in front of it and seeing the front. The problem is the Rotate, Perspective, and Map Object tools don't seem to be able to do it. I also tried a plug-in called EZ Perspective, but that also doesn't seem to work.
At this point, I'm guessing you can't change the perspective of an image (up, down, left, right) because it's flat and not 3D, and no program knows what the other sides would look like. Is that correct, or can I do what I want and just don't know how, yet?

Jan 5, 2009I want to crop with a perspective change in PSCS 4 Extended. Whenever I add a crop outline, the Perspective checkbox is disabled.
I thought that the way to change perspective was to make the crop selection and then check the Perspective checkbox and then adjust the proportions but something is strange.

Aug 14, 2012The picture below is a (sadly), .jpeg and I would like to be able to change its dimensions from 800X600 to 958x198However, when I use Ctrl + T to change the size (of course), the sun (most of all) becomes an ellipse.Is there a way that I can change the dimensions of this image without losing the perspective?
Like maybe a way to extend the clouds? I've read about the Clone tool but it leaves seams and aside from that it looks like the image belongs on Santas island of misfit images . Any way, maybe what I am asking is not possible at all but I thought I would ask nonetheless. I've tried keywords up the wahzoo in the FAQ's & forum but have come up empty handed.

"could not transform the path because the selected portion pf the path does not include any pixels"
could it be that I have an image [exported from JPEG] rather than a native shape?

Sep 27, 2013i made this vector on 3p perspective using an image background that was on 3d, how can i bring this 3p perspective vector to 1p perspective in a way that the vector will look 2d rather than 3d that it looks like now, i have tried to copy from on plane to another but it still looks the same, it doesnt transform.

I am making a scene where I need the vanishing point to be on the left and the vanishing plane on the right, in one-point perspective. Dec 26, 2013I am working on 3d model of interior and I have two problems. I am trying to made similar model as it is on the first image.
After setting all render properties and turning on sky and illuminations my view on object switch from isometric to perspective view.
Is there any way to change it to isometric view so the point of view do not change position at the time of changing, because I find out the way to return it to isometric but then the point of view that was placed inside of room is moved outside and I can't render object that was inside.
Also I can't set white background as it is on the first image. Second image is my attempt that is made inside of the room.

Another question: If you write a square with the rectangle tool in illustrator and you select a face in the left up corner, is there a way to make the square how can i explain... You move the swuare on theat face with the mouse and when it reach the "border" it will start move on the other face, just like a wall, if you put a piece of pare in a corner, the paper will assume the shape of the corner. Apr 19, 2013I have a word EDGE and I try to place it in the middle of the perspective grid, so the half left follow the left grid,
while the half right follow the right gird.

Right now I use two graphics, and I was curious, whether I can use one image, place it in the center of the grid, and have it automatically fold over the left and right side. I'm working on very complex vector and I would rather not split it into half to create two independent images.
Is there a way to do it ?
Whenever I like to adjust the perspective using the drag points, the graphics won't adjust accordingly. I find myself refining the persective grid and than manually, from scratch readjusting all my artowork. Is there a way to do automatically ?

I have been trying to accomplish this for over a week now in Photoshop Elements 11 and I have been unsuccessful as anything I do just totally color fills the image, which does not keep any details of the handprint.

I have looked online and tried Transform->Skew, Distort, Perspective, as well as Lens Correction, but can't get the results that I want.
I was recently playing around with Vanishing Point. So what I want to do is like the "opposite" of vanishing point. I would like to transform an image from a defined plane to the flat plane of my monitor. I tried defining a plane in an image and also defining a flat plane (i.e. just a rectangle with right angles), and then dragging a selection from one to the other.
The image was transformed but not in the way that I wanted. Is there a clear-cut way of doing this using vanishing point? Or another software that can do this straightforwardly after defining planes in the image?
