I would like to create an image like the one attached. It has very nice effects including the blending and an added shade of purple to some parts of the image. Anybody knows how I can achieve this in FIREWORKS please?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an old man whose eyes are slitty and so I have created a white with a layer and feathered it round his wrinkles and it looks ok. I can add mask track to this in ae and also track it in mocha. I have an iris import clip that I then need to add to the white. It is in .png.
I cannot make a mask path appear on the layer information to the left of the screen so the iris dances about and can't be tracked.

How do I blend the white mask layer and the iris layer so they move as one?  Do I put them together then track them togethr in mocha?

I have spent a day on this trying to figure it. On top of that I would also like to clone an eyelid half open so that I can put this on top of white layer, iris layer and then eyelid and track all together. But if possible the white and iris moving together would be enough.

In the instructions on youtube I have also found that when I hit 3d little cube icon I get a black background on the iris and not the old mans face how do I get rid of that?

This is for a man who gets wolf eyes in the film. Would it be easier to get some wolf eyes in photoshop and stick those on? the clip is just 4 secs long.
i was wondering if there is a way to blend the same image together. One side of the image is green plain. The other is a woman's face with greenish grayish background bhind her but a little to the right is the plain green box. How do i blend the green into her background? I have seen the blending of two photos together but what if it is the same photo?

The result is that I do not want to see the edges of either images when they are nudged together. I'd like them to "Flow" together. if that description doesn't make sense, imagine using such a tool on a a black dot on a white page. it would make the outer part of the circle transition from black, to dark grey, to a lighter grey, and then to white...
I want to blend and tone the center image (mostly the wood panels) so it looks somewhat compatible with the images on the side. I did one botched job of working on the file for a few hours, and didn't save it in my earlier stages, to my regret. It's all one image.

Now, if I change "group1" to "pass through" and "layer1" to "vivid light" ... the result is completely different, while it should be the same, shouldn't it?
im having trouble getting the fillet edge command to work. Ive never had a problem with it before but now i get <Modeling Operation Error:
geometry or topology at end of blend too complex Failed to perform blend.Failure while filleting.>
why its not working.
When using the blend tool to blend colour between two objects is there a way to see the anchor points so I know where to click the blend tool.  I realise the cursor changes when over one but its seems very cumbersome to have to move it around until it changes rather than click directly on one which I could do if I could see it.

I'm trying to learn how to blend colors together for highlights of various types (skin tones, clothing, light on objects, etc.) so that when I'm making a graphic for a project I'll have a decent idea of which tool/technique is best for the specific effect I need.

I'm trying to use the Smooth Color option in the blend tool. Late yesterday afternoon I recall creating two ellipses (one of which was a solid fill and one of which was a gradient going from black to transparent) and getting a smooth color transition between the two. It was a much harsher effect than I was looking for so I didn't keep it. This morning, while trying to replicate the same thing, I seem to be unable to use smooth color between two objects if one or more of them has a gradient applied. I only get what you see below, which is a step between the two objects.

I've done searches and found multiple references to blending gradients in this way and have followed those instructions (create the shapes, fill with the gradients, then either click on the Blend tool and click on the center of each shape, or click on Object -> Blend -> Make) but I can't seem to get a Smooth Color blend if either object has a gradient applied. Am I missing an important step somewhere? I'm 95% sure I accomplished it yesterday and nothing has been changed since then.
I have a series of colored rectangles I'd like to blend into a single rectangle with a smooth blend of the colors, like a rainbow or spectrum.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to blend two different art brushes with different colors using the blend tool. I'm trying to use two fixed-size line segments of the same length and then applying the two different brushes to those segments ( each art brush is a different color). Then I want to blend them the regular way so their colors transition. However, when I do this, the first shape is a different color, but all subsequent blend steps are the color of the second blended shape. Why is this? It doesn't blend the colors for some reason.

I tried to upload the image but it said it was't allowed. Not sure how to correctly explain the problem but I'll do my best. I am have trouble getting the blend tool to recognize the images. I can only select the very edge of the images and then it doesn't look like it should when it does blend. How I can upload the file to show what I am trying to say?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I copy a selection from one image to another, I can't select the feather tool to blend it in the new image (it's greyed out). I have to first anchor the layer, then use the paths tool to re-select the pasted portion again, then feather. Is there another way?
Update: Looks like I can feather before copying/pasting the selection.

I have been trying but I can't seem to get my shapes to look that three-dimensional. Also, how do I get these types of effects with color and texture? The color effect that is used in the triangle I would especially like to replicate.

how to do for the life of me is make the phone look skinny like an hourglass look and the second I would like the opposite and make it look chubby. Advice on how to achieve this would be great, I tried the transform/skew%distort&perspective tools but am unable to achieve the effect I invision because when I try to move a corner the other corners and pull points are affected. Sorry probobly doesn't make much sense. The distort tool was the closest I could get to the hourglass look but it was too skinny..
Apply filter > Lighting effects to an image (300 ppi RGB) and when photoshop renders the lighting, there is a horizontal line through the image. It is not a screen or video issue, it is in the image and has to be retouched out like corrupt image. not a transparency issue, tried different file formats, flattened image first, etc.

how I would achieve this exact effect in Photoshop? The 2 light blue type of effects, one at the top of the image, the one at the bottom of the image. It isn't just regular lighting, as it uses a totally different light blue color. I don't know how to achieve this effect
View 9 Replies View RelatedEver since the latest update to PS CS6, when I add a simple effect to a text layer, like emboss, the working image disappears when I zoom in and out. Also, the layer effect does nothing to the type. It's almost like a dispay issue. When I turn the layer effect off, my image is visible again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedBeen working on my bands logo that has 2 layers on it. One has layer effects on it (inner and outer glow). When I flatten the image, it changed the way that it looked. Found out that it just "looks" like it changes because my canvas wasn't at 100%. I have to zoom out to about 25% to be able to see the whole image and work on it.
Is there any way to accurately see my whole image on the canvas and what the layer effects will actually look like? The way it works now, how the image will change once I flatten it. Being zoomed out makes what I'm actually viewing on the screen to be wrong it seems.
I attached 2 images, (Both are at 25%) the first one is what I'm looking at on screen BEFORE I flatten the image. This is what I want my actual image to look like. The second is AFTER I flatten the image. Notice the inner/outer glow gets smaller. I tried to just increase the size of the glows to compensate once I flatten it since I noticed that they were basically just shrinking. This doesn't really work though and I lose the noise effect on the white outer glow.
How am I supposed to work on the image and see what it looks like as a whole if zooming out doesn't show what the image will ACTUALLY look like?
I'm in the process of prepping individual components of a design for Flash animation. I'm trying to apply a layer of #7C6844 with the color effect at 56% opacity and a layer of #999999 with the color burn effect at 12% opacity to the foreground image which has a transparent background. This task has proved to be rather impossible for me, but it seems like there should be a way to do it. I would use the wand tool > select inverse and apply the colors over top that way, but the foreground image has a lot of leaves and branches, so that method would be extremely tedious.
Is there a way I can select the entire image as a whole and leave out the background?
I'll attach the image and the desired result to further assist.

Is there a way I could possibly, make some clouds or something. I want it to look realistic, like the stuff that comes out of an car exhaust. A kind of fog/smoke coating a portion of the photo.
I am using After effects cs6 and when i try to choose a format there is no option to save as an image sequence. This goes for any clip I try to render. The picture below is where I am having the problem, under the format tab. There are only about 10 options under the tab and image sequence is not one of them.
