When I try to use the Apply Image Command to blend two images, the command only allows me to blend the target image with itself; that is, with two images open, the only image available to me as the source image is the target image.
View 2 RepliesIs there an easy way to apply multiple effects on a set of images or individual images, similiar to something like a preset in LightRoom.
For example, if I run the following effects I have to apply it to each image one effect at a time and repeat for each image that I want the exact same effects applied but would prefer to do it all in one go
Blur/(GPU) Gaussian Blur
Noise/Reduce Noise
Photo/Sharpen+
I use these to clean up the moire from scans and reduce dust/dirt then apply a mild sharpen effect to bring back the now softenend image back up slightly. Being able to have presets would be a real bonus for quick clean ups, of digital camera images or camera phone images
I found it by spending a bit more time looking through the menus, under the Effect menu and the Advanced tab and creating a custom effects script ......
But now would like to see if I can have a list of presets instead of having to load them through the script engine one at a time, maybe an option under the 'Effects/Presets' menu option listing all the scripts that are currently saved.
i want layer 1 to overlap layer 2 as if i had erased the white background on layer 1 but i want do it quickly eg by applying a layer style instead of using the magic eraser which can be unpredictable without using the lasso tool to restrict it.
what if the multiply blending mode was applied more intelligently: here's what i mean in pseudo ..IF at least one of the overlapping pixels in either layer is white..THEN apply multiply mode as normal ie multiply the pixel values and divide by 255.
IF neither of the pixels is white THEN only display the pixel in the uppermost layer (in this case layer 1).
i want to speed up the whole process by selecting multiple layers and applying a saved layer style or some other equally rapid method of making the white background transparent.I am not interested in solutions involving the magic eraser, layer masks or anything that can't be applied in one go . I have looked at the 'blend if' sliders in the layer style window but this needs per layer adjustment so is not a time saver and does not always give a smooth overlap anyway.

Any time I go Edit, auto-blend layers it's greyed out which is quite frustrating. I've taken a couple of screenshots to illustrate my problem. I am using CS6 on a new MacBook Pro.
Anytime I try to cutout a piece of an image and paste it into another image, the final result always turns out bad. It looks exactly like what it is...a cutout pasted onto another image.

Everything lines up but there is a very fine white line between the images. I moved one image to the other using the move tool, I then added Layer Mask (in the layers palette), i then got my gradient tool and selected black,white.....I used the gradient tool on the left side of the image and it blended beautifully.
So, now that the left side is blended nicely, I attempt to blend the right side. The right side blends very nice.....but my left side went back to where it was originally.
How do I blend multiple sides of the image?
I used to have CS5 on my computer, after which I used the CS6 trial, and I never had any problems when stacking images using Auto-Blend Layers -> Stack Images. However, I recently purchased a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud and after uninstalling the old PS versions and installing Cloud, Photoshop freezes every time I try to stack images.

im creating some 3d pipe blocks but im stumped on a block for a straight pipe. Basically I want to beable to apply the stretch command to a 3d pipe block which has the internal bore removed so its a hollow tube. I want to be able to have it as a block but also the be able to stretch it at either end.

I'm looking for a way to restore the back ground by over layer the images together. I originally tried with one image and selecting the text with the magic wand and filling it with content aware fill. But the results were so so.

So I have a few questions;
1) the images have slightly different orientation. I can't get them to perfectly align, its weird, I really can't do it. I can get it close, but not perfect, is there a simple way ?
2) How do I keep the common element between the images (the background) and remove what's different (the text) ?

3) Furthermore, the colors are slightly different between the images, is there a simple way to get them to match ?

i was wondering if there is a way to blend the same image together. One side of the image is green plain. The other is a woman's face with greenish grayish background bhind her but a little to the right is the plain green box. How do i blend the green into her background? I have seen the blending of two photos together but what if it is the same photo?

View 2 Replies View RelatedPhotoshop CS2, I have two images (ImageA and ImageB),2) I want to place ImageB onto a canvas with ImageA - this I can do,3) When I place ImageB onto the canvas and nudge it to ImageA, I want the RIGHT side of ImageA to Blend/Merge/Feather with the LEFT side of ImageB. The result is that I do not want to see the edges of either images when they are nudged together. I'd like them to "Flow" together. Also, I'd like to be able to put a "Glow Around" then entire merged content, but Ithink I have a link that explains this. I am not sure of the terminology above - Blend/Merge/Feather

if that description doesn't make sense, imagine using such a tool on a a black dot on a white page. it would make the outer part of the circle transition from black, to dark grey, to a lighter grey, and then to white...
Its a small school project which I have chosen and cant really find a way to do it. What I want to achieve? I have an image and I want to have like 50 variations of it.

What I did? I loaded up an image, recorded an action which applies the filter called "Wave", the the wave dialog box I selected Minimum and Maximum range for values.

Problem I am having:
I made 50 copies of the same image, and then I applied the action via batch processing to these 50 images. However, it applies the exact same settings/values which I recorded. It doesn't really use the range i.e maximum and minimum values I selected in the wave dialog box. It looks like when I closed the wave dialog box, the action creates a new value called "Random seed" when recording and perhaps this random seed number tells Photoshop what to choose from the min and max range supplied by the user.

So is there any way so that when I run the action, it will pick up a new random value from the supplied min and max range?
I have 75 different images and would like to apply 4 different hue adjustment layers to each image and save them so I have 300 new images.
Idea on how to do this is;
Copy hue adjustment layer Merge the lower hue layer with the top image layer. Name the merged layer to what the image layer was Save newly merged layer and image layer in PNG format.
Doing this 300 times manually will take me an age, are there any scripts for CS4 that can automate this?
