Jun 5, 2013I have three layers each with an identical pattern out of which I am trying to make a bigger pattern (for textile printing). Everything lines up but there is a very fine white line between the images. I have tried feathering, blurring, masking and feathering, blending, anything I can find in the online manual and in Photoshop for dummies.

Aug 22, 2006I'm attaching a photo, I'd like to be able to "blend" the black backdrop paper into the floor. I've seen that done before, just not sure how people do it. Anyone know? I know it needs cropping, this is a "raw" file, just concerned with blending the paper into the wood.

Nov 11, 2013I'm trying to get every pixel value in the black square to 000, and all the white pixels to 255,255,255. I've started out with an 800 pixel square solid 255RGB square and then applied a solid 0RGB black square over the top in a new layer, but as can be seen by the color pickers PSCC is doing an unwanted luminance blend around the edges.
Is there anything I can do to stop it and get a solid black square on a solid white one?

Apr 20, 2006I've got a simple circle shape with some modifications that I need to not blend with the background color. The edges of the circle blend with the background color, but I will be using this image in a game and the background color is the alpha color. If the background color dissapears in the game, but parts of the circle have colors that blend with that background color, it will look very strange. How can I stop the image from blending it's edges (I guess what it's doing is anti-aliasing to make a smooth effect) with the background?

I don't want to do HDR just blend two images. I use CS4. I should mention I use Aperture to manage my images and edit with CS4 by migrating the image from within Aperture.

Jul 13, 2013I'm making a collage containing 4 images with different resolution. I want each image to have faded edges (to white) and I'm using gradient tool to accomplish this. The problem is that since the images have different resolution the gradient tool gives different result on each image even though I make the same "swipe". Is there another way of accomplishing these faded edges, equally looking and of the same size? The faded edges (to white) will, as you might have understood already, constitute the limit between the four pictures, that is, a white cross.

Any time I go Edit, auto-blend layers it's greyed out which is quite frustrating. I've taken a couple of screenshots to illustrate my problem. I am using CS6 on a new MacBook Pro.

Nov 2, 2005I'm trying to blend a couple of images together using the gradient tool.
I moved one image to the other using the move tool, I then added Layer Mask (in the layers palette), i then got my gradient tool and selected black,white.....I used the gradient tool on the left side of the image and it blended beautifully.
So, now that the left side is blended nicely, I attempt to blend the right side. The right side blends very nice.....but my left side went back to where it was originally.
How do I blend multiple sides of the image?

Mar 24, 2013I used to have CS5 on my computer, after which I used the CS6 trial, and I never had any problems when stacking images using Auto-Blend Layers -> Stack Images. However, I recently purchased a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud and after uninstalling the old PS versions and installing Cloud, Photoshop freezes every time I try to stack images.
My computer has very good specs, runs Windows 7, and both the OS and PS are up to date.
Photoshop :: Blend Images To Restore Common Background Hidden By Text
Dec 15, 2012I have a 3images with a common background, but there's different text and each picture has a different part of the background intact. I'm looking for a way to restore the back ground by over layer the images together. I originally tried with one image and selecting the text with the magic wand and filling it with content aware fill. But the results were so so.
So I have a few questions;
1) the images have slightly different orientation. I can't get them to perfectly align, its weird, I really can't do it. I can get it close, but not perfect, is there a simple way ?
2) How do I keep the common element between the images (the background) and remove what's different (the text) ?
I tried overlaying them after having deleted the text, but I still get the damn contour effect.
3) Furthermore, the colors are slightly different between the images, is there a simple way to get them to match ?

3. click on first image hit selections, then select all
4. click edit, paste as new selection

Nov 8, 2004I have just completed a webpage in PS and want to slice it but I am not sure about how to slice my images that are feathered. Normally I would just create a slice around the borders of the image and then remove this slice in DW and insert the original Jpeg resized to suit. However the images in this page are a feathered.
I was thinking of perhaps slicing around the image leaving small border of say 5mm and save this as a jpeg. However howq would this match against the gif slices next to this. My background is an image so I am unable to just use a background colour option in DW.

May 2, 2013When using the blend tool to blend colour between two objects is there a way to see the anchor points so I know where to click the blend tool. I realise the cursor changes when over one but its seems very cumbersome to have to move it around until it changes rather than click directly on one which I could do if I could see it.
