View 2 RepliesI have PSE 9. HP 5514 printer. I can print photos borderless through Windows, but not through PSE. In PSE, I have unchecked the box for Border, have checked the Crop to Fit box and Center Image box (and every possible combination thereof). My photo has been sized to 4"x6" in PSE, and I have checked all boxes in the print dialogue for 4"x6". I get a border no matter what I do.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to print borderless the menu reverts to the smaller size. ie when selecting 5x7 it reverts to 4x6. Ditto 8x10 and 11x14 etc. The paper size stays the same, just the print size reverts and the desired size disappears. I contacted Epson twice and both times I was told it is a software issue, not the printer. The same thing happens in Lightroom, but in WEindows Gallery Live the printer works correctly which indicates the driver and printer are working correctly. I am using Windows 7 and had Elements 9, but Elements 10 came bundled with the printer so I upgraded to 10, no improvement.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI wanted to create an A4 borderless print in my canon mg6150 from within the print module. I can do a borderless print using the canon easyprint.
I go into page setup and the properties of my printer and set the page layout to borderless and click OK.
However, I am unable to set the margins to zero. When I go back into my page setup and check the page layout, it has reverted to normal so it has ignored my setting.
print of Gray0 resulting in halftone through HP Laserjet P2035. Two days back it was perfectly printing as solid black. Through MS Paint and MS Word, it is printing black as solid black but not from CorelDraw x6.1. What and where settings got changed, is unknown? Screen shots attached.
Using F8, workspace resetting is tried but results are same i.e. Gray0 as halftone.
Ever since updating our print server to use the HP Universal driver, my ability to tweak the non-printable margins has gone away. In the past I was always able to easily tweak margins within my PC3 files using the "Modify Standard Paper Sizes (Printable Area)" tool. Setting all four values to say "0.25" would result in an even 1/4" margin around all four edges of the paper.
Now however, that behavior is just plain different. Using 0.25 all the way around results in plots that are partially shifted off the page. Using different values for top, bottom, left and right results in one or two margins coming out much wider than I want. The frustrating part is there seems to be no rhyme or reason between these values and the plot output. The default values are 0.17 for Top/Bottom and 0.25 for Left/Right but even this results in uneven margins. Only if I make the slightest of tweaks can I get any tiny bit of improvement, which is still not up to previous standards. Anything larger and the output is much worse. I've tried all 0.0, setting top/bot only. left/right only, but none of my combinations of values works.
On top of that there seems to be inconsistency between each printer, even when the printer Model is the same. For example the output on my 9050DN printers range from just "Decent but not like before" to plain "awful". My older 8150 DN models look the best but still do not match previous output.
Is there an alternative way to adjust paper margins? Is there a new method to adjusting the "Modify Standard Paper Sizes (Printable Area)" ?
All my settings are correct. I have correct paper selected (borderless). All sliders are at ZERO. Aspect ratio of picture is correct. Correct ICC profiles are installed. THIS IS CLEARLY A LIGHTROOM ISSUE! I can print perfectly using Canon's supplied software.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have 4 x 6 papers with rounded corners and I want to print on these papers borderlessly.
I choose 4 x 6 paper size in Lr and borderless option clicked in the Epson driver.
In this case, some drops of inks can not fall on the paper (at the rounded corners).
Is this case harmful for the printer?
If so, how should I print borderlessly from Lr on papers with rounded corners?
Upgraded OS from W7 (64bit) to W8.
Using Canon Pro 9000 Mk2 printer, unable to select and print borderless prints of any size.
However, using Elements 11, there is no problem which suggest the problem is confined to LR4.3.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver w/o success.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to print 4 photos on a single 5x7 photo sheet. Print Package seems to be totally unusable. I select 3 photos and can't position them on the screen. I select a 4th photo and it positions it on a 2nd sheet. I can't resize a photo by clicking the image and adjusting the size (like most other windows packages).
If I move a photo it seems to change format from landscape to portrait. I set Printer settings to 5x7 Glossy but whatever option I chose in 'Select a Layout' gives me a message saying The layout selected is larger than paper size - eventhough they're both set to 5x7.
If I select a photo and try and move it, it just duplicates the image somewhere else on the print page - and doesn't let me delete it or undo. I have selected 5x7 paper size and Layout 5x7 (4) but the review screen still doesn't show 4 photos positioned logically.
This task should take 5 minutes - I am now quitting after nearly 2 hours - which included reading many community issues of people trying to do this simple task and clearly having the same problems I have.
I have stiched together six photos to make a panorama photo. When I go to print that combination photo only one of the six photo shows up in the Print window. Only one photo is printed, not the panorama one. I tried using the Finder > Print box and the copy of the panorama photo I had in a folder on the my desktop. That worked. I want to use photo paper for the print and make some adjustments, that doesn't work from the Finder > Print selection. The original panorama photo was a TIFF file and ended up to be 155MB, but I made a copy in JPEG and that file was 13.2MB.
