View 2 RepliesMy document prints fine from Illustrator with the paper setting as U.S. Letter but it clips the bottom of the image. So I select "borderless 8.5 x 11" and it no longer clips the image but it prints WAY darker, from golden do a dark gray brown.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have PSE 9. HP 5514 printer. I can print photos borderless through Windows, but not through PSE. In PSE, I have unchecked the box for Border, have checked the Crop to Fit box and Center Image box (and every possible combination thereof). My photo has been sized to 4"x6" in PSE, and I have checked all boxes in the print dialogue for 4"x6". I get a border no matter what I do.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen using my HP 7020e photosmart printer and Adobe photoshop elements 11, I get a very small white border on the prints. I have set for borderless printing. Adobe says the print size is 4.2 x 6.18 instead of 4 x 6.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to print borderless the menu reverts to the smaller size. ie when selecting 5x7 it reverts to 4x6. Ditto 8x10 and 11x14 etc. The paper size stays the same, just the print size reverts and the desired size disappears. I contacted Epson twice and both times I was told it is a software issue, not the printer. The same thing happens in Lightroom, but in WEindows Gallery Live the printer works correctly which indicates the driver and printer are working correctly. I am using Windows 7 and had Elements 9, but Elements 10 came bundled with the printer so I upgraded to 10, no improvement.
View 5 Replies View RelatedHave been using Ele 6 for some time and everthing prints out fine (Epson PX720wd). After changing to Ele 9 all prints are too dark.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy photos are printing out much darker than what is on the monitor display. I have calibrated the monitor and changed the color profile, color management & color space numerous times and they I cannot see any difference in the prints. I've changed the printer settings, still too dark. I have edited the photos and brightened them, still much darker than on the display. I'm using Photoshop Elements 10 with a new monitor and computer. My old computer and Adobe Photoshop CS2 program did not have this problem.
View 5 Replies View RelatedPE11 crops as it prints pictures. Why? I use 4x6 paper to print. When PE11 shows the thumbnail on the preview screen prior to printing the whhole picture is there. But the output shows cropping which spoils the composition of the picture I took. I tried fooling the system by saying that Iwas using 3x5 paper and the whole picture was there but of course there was lots of white space around it. What can I do to get ariound this problem using 4x6 pper?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been having trouble printing color prints with PSE 9. They appear kind of pale or less vivid (unacceptably so), the colors are just not as they appear on my monitor. I'm using an Epson R2880, iMac 10.6.8. It prints b&w beautifully. I've been through Epson tech support, checked nozzles and cleaned heads. While speaking with Espon they suggested I print from another application, so I tried using iPhoto, colors came out accurately there. I happen to still have PSE 8 still on my computer, so I attempted to print from there, the colors were also more accurate there (and that's without using the ICC profiles I have in PSE 9 ). It seems the issue is unique to PSE 9. I've tried changing my color setting, typically I have it set to AdobeRGB, but have tried "no color management". I have my monitor calibrated, use proper ICC profiles for any papers I use (and have tried multiple papers).
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Adobe Photoshop Elements 7. My PC runs Windows 7 Professional (64 bit). For years, I have produced high quality prints with my Epson Stylus Photo R280 printer. Not so recently.
The printer began depositing a colored stripe at the top and bottom of my photos (portrait orientation). And, horizontal streaking began appearing evenly spaced from top to bottom.
I called Epson tech support. The techie put me through many troubleshooting steps. The nozzle check pattern was fine, so she had me print using Photoshop Elements 7 and using Windows Picture Viewer. Both prints had the same issues - horizontal striping from top to bottom and wider stripes at the top of the page and bottom. She concluded that the problem is Elements!
how Elements 7 could be the culprit and what I can do to fix it. I love the printer and Elements but I cannot continue throwing money at paper and ink to test the printer.
I have PSE 10. It's been on my computer for ages but I'm just now trying to play around with it. When I tried to order prints through Costco I got an error 6. I would try to un-install and re-install since it's been so long .

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am printing from Elements 8 using an HP6500 printer and the lead edge prints right to the edge of the photo paper (4x6 or 5x7). This did not use to happen. I have looked for a place where the settings are causing this but cannot find it. The top and bottom margins look OK.

I have my digital camera set to take pictures at 2272x1704. Is this setting to high? What should I set it at? It's a Samsung Digimax A402 4 mega pixels.
I have owned Photoshop CS3 and CS5. I have used these products across 3 different computers, OSX and Windows in several different versions. I have used 4 or 5 different printers and each and every time my images print offset to the left of the page with about an 1 inch blank space down the right edge of the page. Portrait or Landscape, it makes no difference. I have tweaked the settings in Photoshop and the operating system and printer settings endlessly, all to no avail.why Photoshop isn't capable of printing an image centered on the page or borderless. I am currently using Windows 8.1 beta, an Intel i5 based system, a Canon MG6220 printer with Photoshop 5.1 64 and 32 bit.

I have been trying to make business cards in Lightroom 4. Everything works fine except no matter how I set things up my 2 X 3.5 inch photos print at 3 11/16 X 2 1/8 inch. My printer is set to print borderless 4 X 6. My settings under Custom Package are as in the screenshot below.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is probably quite simple but the answer eludes me. What I want to do is to create a borderless coloured rectangle (which I can do!), then drag text over it and cut the text out so it leaves the original rectangle with transparent text if you know what I mean.
I can easily do this in PS with the magic lasso but obviously I lose the quality when re-importing it back into AI.
I have 4 x 6 papers with rounded corners and I want to print on these papers borderlessly.
I choose 4 x 6 paper size in Lr and borderless option clicked in the Epson driver.
In this case, some drops of inks can not fall on the paper (at the rounded corners).
Is this case harmful for the printer?
If so, how should I print borderlessly from Lr on papers with rounded corners?
Upgraded OS from W7 (64bit) to W8.
Using Canon Pro 9000 Mk2 printer, unable to select and print borderless prints of any size.
However, using Elements 11, there is no problem which suggest the problem is confined to LR4.3.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver w/o success.
I've been experiencing a problem when printing borderless on with LR4. Although I'm using borderless print settings, all margins are 0 and cell size is 4x6 or 8x10 or whatever it needs to be, the bottom edge of all photos has a 1-2mm line of unprinted paper.
This is also visible on the print preview of LR4, as you can see on the bottom of the attached image.
