My document prints fine from Illustrator with the paper setting as U.S. Letter but it clips the bottom of the image. So I select "borderless 8.5 x 11" and it no longer clips the image but it prints WAY darker, from golden do a dark gray brown.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is probably quite simple but the answer eludes me. What I want to do is to create a borderless coloured rectangle (which I can do!), then drag text over it and cut the text out so it leaves the original rectangle with transparent text if you know what I mean.
I can easily do this in PS with the magic lasso but obviously I lose the quality when re-importing it back into AI.
Using the Roland GX-24 plotter to cut vinyl and the Illustrator print to plotter plug-in, the program refused to cut rectangles. (with the exception of lower case i's) This includes Capital I's, lower case l's, hyphens and rectangles using the rectangle tool.
All other letters have no issue cutting. So long as they're not a single rectangle. This anomaly was experienced using several files, tested on old and new. So its not an issue with the file.
How can I take a shape with a gradient like in the attached image, and make it so other shapes like the series of rectangles mask the gradient so the gradient only shows through the rectangles?

I'm working in a windows environment and have Illustrator CS4. Any scripts out there that might give me a start?

I have PSE 9. HP 5514 printer. I can print photos borderless through Windows, but not through PSE. In PSE, I have unchecked the box for Border, have checked the Crop to Fit box and Center Image box (and every possible combination thereof). My photo has been sized to 4"x6" in PSE, and I have checked all boxes in the print dialogue for 4"x6". I get a border no matter what I do.

View 29 Replies View RelatedI have owned Photoshop CS3 and CS5. I have used these products across 3 different computers, OSX and Windows in several different versions. I have used 4 or 5 different printers and each and every time my images print offset to the left of the page with about an 1 inch blank space down the right edge of the page. Portrait or Landscape, it makes no difference. I have tweaked the settings in Photoshop and the operating system and printer settings endlessly, all to no avail.why Photoshop isn't capable of printing an image centered on the page or borderless. I am currently using Windows 8.1 beta, an Intel i5 based system, a Canon MG6220 printer with Photoshop 5.1 64 and 32 bit.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to print borderless the menu reverts to the smaller size. ie when selecting 5x7 it reverts to 4x6. Ditto 8x10 and 11x14 etc. The paper size stays the same, just the print size reverts and the desired size disappears. I contacted Epson twice and both times I was told it is a software issue, not the printer. The same thing happens in Lightroom, but in WEindows Gallery Live the printer works correctly which indicates the driver and printer are working correctly. I am using Windows 7 and had Elements 9, but Elements 10 came bundled with the printer so I upgraded to 10, no improvement.

I choose 4 x 6 paper size in Lr and borderless option clicked in the Epson driver.
In this case, some drops of inks can not fall on the paper (at the rounded corners).
Is this case harmful for the printer?
If so, how should I print borderlessly from Lr on papers with rounded corners?
