Oct 5, 2013Why is it that if i change the "lighting angle" for Layer A in Photoshop Elements 10 it changes it for all my layers?
is this a bug?

Jun 19, 2012Running Photoshop CS3 ( Yes, I know I should be shot for using an old version...) and I have a photo of our ferry boat, that I use and place as a layer in our advertising. The image has a bluish tint, due to the surrounding water. On the boat we do have some decals/paintings (of course they are blue also....).
How can I get the white portions of the boat to be whiter, while leaving the other elements the same?

Oct 28, 2012when i change the angle of an object it effects the whole project, so if i have selected an circle and put the angle of a drop shadow to 90 degrees then i selected a recltangle and set drop shadow angle tp 120 degrees the circle will change to also be 120, does it always do this or am i just doing something wrong?

Apr 24, 2013I'm using Elements 9 and I've never had any problems with it until today. When I tried to use the Adjust Shadows feature under Adjust Lighting, the program became unresponsive. It wouldn't allow me to do anything at all. I had to exit the program using the Task Manager. I tried two more times to see if I was doing something wrong, but I followed the same process I've been using for years and each time the program would freeze.

I am working on the area of the SEAMS to create the PLEATS. 3ds Max won't allow me to change the Crease Angle to 150 as it says in the tutorial. When I position the mouse over the box where the dimensions are, it turns into a hand shape. I can change any other dimension in the SEAMS rollout.

Mar 27, 2013My questions is how to prevent the following from happening. I created a layer style drop shadow in a .psd file with the below parameters.
I saved it as an .asl file that I could use later. When I loaded it into a different .psd file later that day some parameters stayed the same but the angle reverted back to 30 degrees from 120 degrees all on its own as shown below.
I just want to know how to keep layer style parameters I saved in an .asl file from reverting back to defaults when loaded in to a new .psd file.
My systems parameters are as follows:
Photoshop CS6 Extend Version 13.0 x64
Mac OSX 10.8.2 with 705.44 GB used out of 749.3 GB available
The only other software I am running is Safari web browser. This is my first time trying to save a layer style and use it in a different .psd file other than the one I created it in.

Jan 19, 2012I have a plan with lots and lot numbering. I made the lot number text annotative and matching view orientation. But when it rotates in the view it rotates about the left justification point instead of middle as inserted into drawing. So I inserted lot numbert text into drawing and changed text to non-annotative, but now i can not change the text rotation angle unless i use rotate command on each individual piece of text (was trying to pick all text and change in properties box). Using feature lines to assist in grading design so not sure if this is an autocad problem or a civil 3d 2012 problem. I can rotate dtext made or inserted in drawing.
